Okay. I've done all that, and I'm gonna do the Log to File thing right away. The only 3-d game I know of would be runescape. :XD: Does that work? lol

So umm... go to take it out of the cabinet... there ARE vents on the side of the computer. :XD: Maybe thats the problem. -.- This computer has a LOT of freakin vents btw. =\ *stupid* #-o EDIT: So as predicted.. I cannot take the computer out of this cabinet. There's a hole where all the wires are going through, and all those wires are too short for me to pull through the hole enough to move the computer out. I would have to completely disassemble all the wires, and I'm not sure I trust myself to that task. :P I moved the plant away from the back, and I've moved the CPU as far to one side as I can (as there are only vents on one of the sides =\ ). I'll see how well that goes to keep the heat away from it. Thanks to everyone's who has helped though. :D I'll post again if the problem persists. If it does, I'll take out all of the wires from the back, and see if I can get a picture of the inside of the computer.

I have no idea what the wat .... lol wow. JUST as I was typing that... the purple screen happened again. If it was overheating, would it always go the same colour? Again this time, I could see my mouse and move it. I was typing in here, so it was the "I" thing. It stayed like that... Anyways. I have no idea what the wattage is, but in the old thread I posted a picture of my video card diagnostics or something. Maybe that might help? The plant is a fake plant, and it's on top of a box thats a good three or so inches away from the computer. It's not touching it at all. However, I can try moving it for a bit. If it's still doing this, I'll know that it's not the plant causing overheating.

I remember once I met someone, and he wanted to do a quest for mining exp. So we went and did it. :P Thats the only time I ever did though. I can't remember which quest it was.

Hmm... I'll see if I can fish it out of there. (My moms many plants are in the way.. as well as many wires that have to stretch slightly.) If I can do that, THEN I'll see if I can take off the side. :XD: Then yes, I'll get a picture to here. :)

Why are we talking about the point of slayer? Whats the point of firemaking? Quests/lamps don't count... seriously... we can do the quests and light lamps without the need of a fm skill. But it's here to stay, isn't it. I love slayer. It's really fun. Makes combat training have a point in my mind. :)

I don't remember the picture, but I do remember the thread. And their updating of the square all of a sudden, did seem suspicious to me. I mean... it's been like that for EVER. Why all of a sudden realize how off it is and change it now? Countless people have pointed it out over the years.

Well our computer is within-the-year new. We got it in January-ish I think. I don't see how that much dust could have gotten in there since then =\ , but I'll definitely see what I can do. It IS inside a desk, but the back is opened (as its made specifically for a computer), and we always keep the front door open when its on. Unless the vents are on the side, (which they're not :P) I wouldn't think I could give it much more air.

I wish I had bunny ears. :( Those own. Party hats, I think are mostly about rarity. White ones and red ones look better, imo, and I wouldn't be surprised if thats what most people thought. I think the h'ween masks are almost all about looks. (I have a blue one), and a few people have talked to me about it. Some have said they wanted a red one, and had no idea of the price. I'm pretty sure the masks are all about looks. :P Santa hat? There isn't a variety there, so it's price is pretty much all rarity. However, it also looks good, so people want it for the looks too. :thumbsup:

I really don't see why not. Unless your other option is a Bezerker or something, it's not hurting your chances of getting a drop.

And then you can always tan the hides, make them into bodies, and alch them! Pure profit on those. Also gets you some craft exp. :) Can still sell the bones and buy stuff using those. :D

What are you stats? I would suggest greens though. Blues are really crowded all the time, and reds and blacks generally aren't so good for meleeing. I also would suggest the fire giants, as people are always leaving big bones lying on the ground all over the place. Plus you get charms and coin drops, the occasional rune scimmy, and other alchables.

Hmm. I asked me dad what he thought was up, and he said it sounds like it might be overheating too. I could still hear the sounds though. Is that a different part of the computer that could still be working while the other parts aren't? I'm very certain it's not the screen, as the first time I could see and move my mouse. I went to that link, and my problem doesn't seem quite the same. The bright purple had absolutely nothing to do with what I was doing. However last time, I was just loading a screen (which is usually white when you're trying to load it), so that could be it. Maybe I'll try to see if I can clean something out. There's always a possibility of dust being in there or something, and blocking the fan I guess. I'll see how it goes. :D

First off, a couple days I made this topic: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=746477 To recap, last time, my entire screen went purple. I could still see and move my mouse, and hear the sounds that were playing. I pressed the sleep button, then turned my computer back on, and everything seemed fine. I recieved a lot of help, but as far as I could tell, there wasn't much that I myself could do. Today however, things seemed to get worse. =\ I was doin my thing, and all of a sudden, my screen went entirely white. I couldn't see my mouse this time, and putting the computer to sleep and turning it back also didn't work, but I could still hear the sounds. The computer turned back on, but somehow my screen was still in sleep mode somehow? It was on but the button was flashing, the way it does when the computer itself is not on. If anyone needs any clarification about what I'm talking about, I'd be glad to try and elaborate more. If anyone could try and help, that would be great. I've run regular virus scans since the last time my screen went funny, and there's been no threats to my computer detected.

People buy them to make air battlestaves with. Good crafting exp for them, so they sell rather quickly. Go for it!

Not being able to reach them would work well I think.

I had this same sort of problem when my account on our computer wasn't an administrative one. I had to use the Unsigned Appled (found below the detail selection), and it made things take ages to load, especially animations and stuff in-game. If someone did an emote, they would just stand stock-still, perfectly upright, while the emote was happening. I broke a lot of picks because the smoking animation of a rock you're trying to mine, wouldn't show up until it was too late. However... I rambled a lot there. Maybe that's your problem? If you're using the Unsigned Applet, see if there's anything you can do so that you don't have to use that applet.

I've heard making sapphire bracelets and alching them works. Gold Bar: 180 Uncut Sapphire: 524 Nature Rune: 263 Sapphire Bracelet alch: 690 Cost to make: 967 Loss: 270 ea 2708 sapphire bracelets from 62 to 66, times a loss of 270 ea, means you would lose 731 160 coins total. It's up to you if you wanna do that. :D

Cannonballs is definitely the best way if you want to make money while smithing. However, you can mine and superheat mithril in the guild, then walk to the anvils by the pick shop, make them into mithril 2-h (or something that requires an even higher level to make) and alch them right there. Then go back to the mining guild and start again! You make money, even buying all the natures, last time I checked. EDIT: As another option, you could make them into mithril bolts too (or arrow heads, etc.) if you wanted, as those all stack, so again you never have to leave. Idk if this will make the same profit though. Check the GE prices.
