You know how amazing my timing is? I was finally getting bored of Runescape, and I had JUST (as of yesterday, Sunday) lost my membership. I reduced my bank to a rare and a few necessary items, and a few members items that would be hard to get back. But now, I don't know if I'll ever be going back. ALL the things people have been saying about how Runescape is being made for kids, hit me in the face today. Before, I didn't care. It was fun and I enjoyed playing it, so what did it matter if they were ruining it? Well now, you can't do anything at all. You can't give friends a hand with money. You can't KQ like normal. You can't do anything the same. A better solution to the whole problem would have been Jagex selling gold on their own instead...

Yeah I wasn't very happy about that update either :(, cause I collect them too :P. It was a little saddening, but I'm gonna fine I'm certain :P. Runescape is [again] losing interest to me anyways. But I might keep my membership long enough to see what Summoning is like. Then again I might not :P.

So, I've finally run into the situation of Christmas and a boyfriend, and not knowing what to buy :(. And it gets harder because... his birthday is 15 days after that :P. I have a few ideas, but I was hoping for some actual advice from some people that might know better than me. There are a couple books that he wants, (about Tommy Lee and Motley Crue :P) but they're expensive, so he hasn't bought them yet, and I thought that might be a good oppurtunity to get him something that he actually wants. But then I thought... would it be lame to get him books for Xmas/Bday? He isn't the type to normally read, but he does want them. My only other idea so far was red Chuck Taylor All Star shoes. He used to like those shoes a lot, but now EVERYONE has them and have basically become an emo trait in our school, so he doesn't like them as much. I dont' know if it's such a good idea, because he has expressed disinterest in them. Thats my only other idea though. Anyone else know of any other good ideas? (Maybe this thread might even help out a couple other people :P.) Thanks in advance to anyone who can try to help :). (He also said he might like flowers :o. I think I'll get him some too, but that won't be part of the gift.)

Unfortunately, thats probably you're only option. If they made it so that you can only have one, then chances are they won't change it back.

I hope its a completely new skill :P. Seems like something that might cause me to keep my membership (even though its slowly growing boring right now...) for a little while.

Actually that's impossible because slayer was just a level you got from training combat in the first place and it means nothing except what monsters you can kill. You can't repeat the same thing with summoning, although I think they will just not make it count towards combat level or very little, but I doubt they would raise combat above 126. In a way, summoning would only counts toward your combat if you're low level in the first place. Kinda like mage and range? If you have high melee stats, raising those won't raise your cmb lvl much. Only if you're maxing possibly :P. But that seems likely... however also seems like it might have to raise your level atleast 2 or 3 more :P. Maybe 130 cmb? :o:O

I can see where they are coming from with this... bit I still think it's a really weak reason to kill many peoples' enjoyment of the game. Plus 3k in 15 mins? Why not per stake or something? :S Even then it would still take a long time to transfer a substantial amount :S, even 100k... #-o

Jagex has stressed many times that they will NEVER send you emails, and that they'll used their own messaging system, based from the site. Know what that means? :P Jagex will NEVER SEND YOU EMAILS.

I met a Blakdragon__ once :P, I can't remember the numbers though. I think it was 40 something. And some other time, me and someone else were slayering at the greaters in Brim dungeon, and then later that same day we were somewhere else, doing a different assignment at the same time :P. I can't remember where the second time was though :P.

I'm pretty self sufficient :P. I mine everything that I wanna smith. Fish for my own food and cook it too, make as many of my own potions as I can, try to make my own weapons for treasure trails, like addy squares and whatnot :P, or get a friend to make them o.O .

You don't need any particular kind of burners. The simplest, cheapest ones will do. You still get the same bonus. The only downfall is they don't look as good :P.

I collect spinach :D. I think I have 21 right now :P. I've even gotten them while rune mining, and kept the roll rather than mining another ore :D.

I'm really excited for this month :D. The exchange thing sounds amazing! And Smith-X would be awesome :).

I agree with most other people here :P. D axe is hardly practical. Just looks good while wcing. Whip is also the best weapon in the game :), imo atleast :P.

Goblin Mail sounds like a great thing for a collection :D. Or, if you do a lot of slayer, Rune Full Helms :P. Get them all the time from the higher monsters, and if you get bored of it, alch em all? :o Yay money! Everywhere! :P Or some sort of bronze armour/weapon. Scimitar? That would be cool :P.
