A good deal?
Wait, it doesn't come with a graphics card? Every computer technically comes with a graphics. It how the image on your monitor is displayed. What he means is that the computer has onboard graphics which are integrated into the motherboard. A "real" graphics card would be an add-on card which is faster and will allow you to play games in higher settings.

So ubisoft has relased some games from commercial status :o
So I guess we can't download and play them anymore...at least for now. Though it seems if you've already downloaded and played it, you can keep doing so. Anybody want to fill me in on as why Ubi is blocking out other countries? I would think it would be a benefit to them because more people see the ads which would be more money for them. That is if the ads are for international companies.

Should I Pre-Order...
Stores are going to have tons of these. Video games are fast to produce (putting the game on the dvd and packaging) and with it being the most anticipated game there will be tons of copies. So I would say it's not worth it unless you get something extra.

A good deal?
I agree with LP, it's about average. Normal the price would be higher but this computer does not include a monitor. Acer is a good company.

Fast Food Nation - What goes into your burger?
It wasn't a burger, it was a bowl of chili at Wendy's. Are.......You...Serious? :-X Yes he is. When the police further investigated this, the finger was not there when the person bought the chili. The person put a human finger in their chili and was trying to sue Wendy's for a quick buck. Google it if you want further information.

Highschool musical star implodes
Apparently Disney went on a rampage and forced everyone to take down the pictures before they got even more bad publicity then they already have. They are still up, trust me :-w On google? #-o Probably not, google probably got a take down notice. There will always be a copy of the photos somewhere, like of every other celebrity that has a nude picture.

Highschool musical star implodes
How can Disney, a children's tv station make money from this? It's not like they can say to 10 year olds "hey your favorite hsm star is nude in this photo, come take a look"

Highschool musical star implodes
Those pics look like they were made for her bf. Anyway, theres always room in the very prosperous pornography industry. Someone send her a razor :-$ And why does she have a bed in her bathroom? Well, theres a sink in there... and it looks like a tub I think... :? It's a weird room, that's all I'm saying  Bathroom what picture are you looking at? Sink? The picture I'm lookingat is in her bedroom. Clearly a bed and a dresser in the pic. Is there more than 1 nude pic?

Ok, I think I'm starting to get whats wrong here. Are you running a firewall? That may be blocking the installer from getting the files it needs.

Fast Food Nation - What goes into your burger?
Hey you might wanna check your facts. There is no way the McDonald's cheese burger is 1000 calories as the Wendy's baconator is only 830 calories. I just googled it and the McDonald's cheeseburger is only 295 calories... OT: This video doesnt really put me off at all. I don't really eat any fastfood burgers very often... Right so everybody who eats at Mcdonald's only has a single cheeseburger. I have seen people get 2 Big Macs and eat them both. The fries too. It's not all about the calories too, theres huge amounts of fat in them too.

Fast Food Nation - What goes into your burger?
I'm still going to be eating meat. :) What people should be saying about meat is to not to eat the fast food meat. Seriously, do you people know what goes into the McDonald's cheese burgers? They're like 1,000 calories or like half of your daily calories. Don't get me started on the baconator from Wendy's. I prefer a nice barbecued burger cooked on a grill, or a nice steak :). I'm not a health nut but I don't like eating piles of slop either.

This has become a popular e-mail scamm do not fall for it
This seems like the nigeria 419 scam. I fear the worst for tip.it if they could not tell this was a scam :( . Usually to get you off guard they do not ask for money in the first email. After you respond, which would confirm your email and they will sell it to spammers, then the second email they usually say they need like $3000 to cover legal fees that are associated with getting the funds.

Is it really a problem? (MP3 piracy)
I do think that downloading mp3s is wrong but having the RIAA sue you to stop is not the right way to fix it. A lot of people don't want to go through the hassle of buying them from itunes and then having to buy your music all over again when you switch to a different player. The DRM crap is losing them money. If the record companies embraced digital distribution then people would cut down on the illegal crap and pay for it. I for one am not going to buy songs for my Zune and then decide to buy an ipod and all of the songs are useless. It's much easier to pirate them, it should be the other way around. What realy gets me is that the RIAA is suing people and saying that you are stealing from the artists and then when they win the lawsuit the artists get none of the money. The companies should treat you as a customer and not as a criminal before you do anything wrong. The Sony rootkit on thier CDs comes to mind.

PS3 Wii or 360 !!!!!!
Not to back henman up or anything but those are pre-rendered screens and not actual gameplay screenshots. No doubt that Crysis will have the best graphics out, but it will be not be as good as real life, like the images suggest.

My hawt new mouse
It's a nice mouse but it's really not my style. I need/want more of a gaming mouse than productivity mouse (which could also game). The mouse for me would be the Logitech G7. I have a mx510 and the thing is starting to go since it's 3+ years old, it may be a nice excuse to get the G7 :) .

Belkin 54G wireless router - IP Conflict, Unable to connect!
On a belkin router if I remember correctly you need to type 192.168.1.1 into a browser. Dos prompt or command prompt go to start > run > type in "cmd" (without quotes)

PS3 Wii or 360 !!!!!!
What does memory have to do with you using a console or pc? Your using memory (aka ram) on a pc or console everytime you play it. Unless you mean hard drive space (aka storage) which still is not really a deciding factor if you have a modern pc with a big hard drive.

Firewall Help
No it doesn't, it blocks outgoing too. Some programs are automatically detected and Windows automatically gives the program internet access. Some you will have to allow. Although that does not make the Windows firewall good. It is very easy for programs to fool it and it does not pass most leak tests. It's still better than nothing.

Building a computer - what should you know?
1alebcay there is more than a difference between the two motherboards (the 680i and your gigabyte). The chipset makes a huge difference, the Nvidia chipset is a lot newer and faster. He could maybe step down to a cheaper 6 series board but I always say don't cheap out on the motherboard because if that doesn't work, then nothing will. Your resolution comment is true for todays games but since the newer games coming out like Crysis and Unreal tournament you will need a very powerful card so it will not be waisted. The GTX may not even be able to pull off high at 1600x1200 with Crysis.

Keylogging problem, all my fault.

Building a computer - what should you know?
I agree with the parts list that snipersas picked out. Everything is good but $200+ for a case? Thats a little crazy. The case is more personal preference so I can't decide for you. Just make sure you get a case with the features you need, a case with good cable management is a must, especially with your budget. The hard drive is good but the Western Digital 500GB+ drives are faster than the smaller ones and are one of the fastest 7200rpm drives out. Plus 320GB would be too small for me, but thats just me.
