Naw, I am just playing. I have learned that anonymity that the internet provides, brings out people's true selves (for the most part). I am not talking about male/female or black/white aspects of your character but how you interact with others. What depresses me is the fact that a good portion of the gaming community is immoral, lazy, cruel, and selfish... which is honestly not that far off of the average hoemoe (I heart filters) sapien. :cry: :cry: :cry:

The gloves are simply too powerful for the slot. Now, don't get me wrong, I ADORE them because they are incredibly useful. BUT, they are WAY too powerful. +12 Str is just too high. Think of all the other strength boosting slots. +2 boots, +3 helm, +5 shield, +4 (?) ring, +10 neck. The boost from the gloves is the same as 2-3 slots as of now. I think all of the other bonuses are decent but the strength is just too high. I think that it should be scaled in the same manner as the mage att/def. I think that we are becoming too powerful against each other. PVP will dry up once we can all 1-hit each other. Seriously, better weapons will HAVE to come out or high levels will become bored. Since there is a 99 cap for hp the max hit will eventually overcome that. Higher def armor will not lower the max hit but only the CHANCE of that max hit so better armor is not the answer. I personally think that in a year or two the max hit (due to items such as these awesome gloves) will surpass 99 and all PVP will go downhill from there. Who wants to risk serious gp when a SINGLE split-second of lag can wipe you out? First hit = victory or at least a much better chance of such. Go ahead and ask if I have the gloves and am just jealous... *Looks at sig and :wink: 's* I hope they DON'T get nerfed because they have a permanent home on my character (unless I am using the Family gloves for what they are MEANT for :P ) since they weigh 0kg. Glory, life, BOL, and DARK Gloves while doing anything but fighting FTW!

The people who should read this only have an attention span for two or three sentences max so this warning is worthless because it will never reach it's target audience. Let's see... RahkUrWrld - first character and main. Just made it phonetically and liked the look of it long before I heard of runescape and used it ever since. I have a couple of "fans" from another site that have made every bastardization possible (rahkruwrld, rhakurwrld, etc.) or so they claimed. Cower in Awe - My wife's character. I chose the name and suggest training methods but otherwise watch her spend my virtual cash like she does my rl cash. :roll: You S U H K - I was helping a friend make a character and put that in as a joke. It went through and he liked it so he kept it regardless of my advice, lol. stockbroker1 - I was bored and made a mage pure on f2p and pked a lvl 3 runeminer for a single ore... and got pked on the way back south. Character lasted all of 30mins and I never logged in on it again lol. sonshinepker - My little brother's "rap name" (he is such a tard sometimes lol) is "sonshine" so that required little thought. :idea: Basically I named everybody that I know in rl that plays near me for one reason or another. My sister picked her name which is just her first name and some numbers I believe.

Barrow, craft glories (50 for sale btw 85k ea :wink: ), craft and alch air b staves, buy and resale a ton of runes that I buy while getting b staves :roll: , alching at fally world 2 and buying cheap things (glory 55k, dds 25k, 7 half keys 20k ea, etc.) and mostly using or give to friends, raise cats while fishing (free deaths so why not), farming herbs (if I ever sell the pots that is), and that is about it. :oops:

Passing the weight of all HYT'ers from world 9 would just be a temporary fix since eventually those "locals" will complain as well. I am sorry to sound callous but it is pretty selfish to ask hundreds if not thousands to relocate because it now makes your gaming less convenient. I sympathize with you when your friends blame you because sometimes people are irrational and don't listen to sound logic. BUT On a semi-unrelated note, I think that there should be an alternate tip.iter homeworld on the east coast for two (and only two) reasons: 1. prevent people from packing in to nine like they do two and 2. make it more convenient for those who don't live on the west coast to play lag-free. My 2 cents :wink:

It is not really hard to find a safe spot... the dragons are huge and the walls are uneven so you can hang them up almost anywhere.

I think the requirements, especially stat-wise, are much too low compared to the phenominal stats of the dark gloves. They are incredible and more than make up for the time needed to get them. I mean they give a better range bonus than black d hide vambs and (to my knowledge) require 0 range while providing awesome defense as well. I think that there should be more non-combat skill requirements even though 70 is rather high. At least it is in one of the two fastest skills to level. I just think that there should be more skills involved as well. 175 qp is just fine so that you don't have to do certain quests that you don't like but still need to complete most of them.

Goblin cutscene and the crazy-good "dark" gloves. Excellent quest all around.

Prayer is not an option during the final fights. Drink all the prayer pots you want all you gain is a sour aftertaste. Read #10 in my guide. That being said I would think your chances of completing it are 100% if you are very careful and scram as soon as it starts to go south.

I would not be surprised to see 1def pures and combat levels as low as 60 completing this. You can easily escape if it gets rough and the bank is 10 steps away to reload. With sara brews and a decent mage lvl it might be as low as 50 something :shock:

Your choice of the character's appearance or sex has no bearing on your mental health. Asking for bf/gf's in a game just to siphon some cash off of a pathetic loser does though. BEING that pathetic loser who fantasizes about "somebody REALLY loves me" also indicates mental weakness or perversity. Relationships that spawn irl and carry over into the game (for example my wife and I play) obviously do not qualify.

My character has been a female since "birth". Why? Because in RS2 everything is better female (one exception). Pros- Cheaper armor (d skirt less than half of legs) Better looking armor (my opinion is d skirt > legs :wink: ) More available selection of clothes (guy or girl clothes are ok on girls but not vice versa) Tiaras (essential to non-abyss crafting and not very manly) Less GENERAL hassle (tried it as a guy char and got more flames, scams, swearing, threats, unsolicited trades, etc. directed at me in a week than I got in a month as a female. I think that some "nerds" (no offense) are even shy around pixelated females) Faster responses to queries (every guy wants to be a knight in shining armor) Less haggling over prices (might just be me but eh) More fun (due to all of the above) Cons- Sexual Harrassment (I just put them on ignore if it's offensive or too chauvanist because, guy or girl, I don't associate with idiots/bigots. Not to mention that it is a easy way to report a bunch of "lets go upstairs an cihbrr with emotes. i wanna do you so hard and nasty" perverts who hopefully get banned. I don't want those sickos in a game populated by youth) Proposals (If it is not disgusting I say "I'm a dude". Otherwise they meet my ignore list and a report for inappropriate language) Nicknames (I let "hon" slide since it is not derogatory but tell them that I am a dude for all those who refer to females as "baby", "cexy", "doll", etc.) I created a CHARACTER that was female. I am not that character, lol. As mentioned above it is a RPG not necessarily a reflection of your own life... how many times have I cast high alchemy lately irl anyway? :wink:
