I didn't know about the differences between region 1 and 2. Doesn't make me feel as bad that I had to buy 2 boxsets for season 2, at a combined price about $10-20 more. Still would rather have just one boxset per season, hopefully they don't do the same junk with season 3.

I can confirm it. I heard about this on digg a few days ago like I said, but I didn't try it out. Flight Simulators aren't my thing. But I saw how much everyone in this topic loved it, so I figured I would try it out. I found out Flight Simulators still aren't my thing. I never even ended up taking off. But yeah, it wasn't in the options until after you use the shortcut. (ctrl-a or ctrl-alt-a)

Yeah I absolutely suck at Civ 4, I think I won once playing on the 3rd or 4th difficulty. I always play marathon so I put so much time into it, I hate losing. I still get mad addicted to that game though. Need to get the expansion pack.

I believe that downloading music/movies/games/other stuff that is copyrighted is wrong. I'll disagree with calling it stealing, it is copyright infringement. I also choose to do it anyways. I also think that the record industry should try to adapt to the changes rather than try to sue everyone. However if they do decide suing is the best way, it is their copyrights so they can do what they want.

Hmm, a lot of people are saying that you should just tell him that you don't like the way things are and that he should change or you won't be his friend anymore. That would work, but the less confrontational thing to do would be to act mean to him. Also, invite yourself over to his house and borrow random things, and don't return them. If he still asks to borrow things from you say no, and give him a lame excuse why not. Eventually he'll get the message and stop bothering you. If you are lucky he won't ask for his stuff that you borrowed back and you will get to keep it. :D

First thing I'd do is take it to somebody who can tell you for sure if it is a meteorite or not. It could just be a rock.

Oh yeah everyone is invited. Everyone will be required to wear storm trooper uniforms though, if they don't like it they get tossed in the brig, or if I am pissed off in the garbage disposal.

I hate it also. Used to have so many problems at LAN parties. My home network has had it's fair share of problems also, but for the most part it fixes itself.

Try a four hour class, now that is a long one. Especially after a day of work and then having to go home right after class to get in bed to get up early the next day for work.

I tried to watch the British version of The Office but I couldn't understand them. I might have enjoyed it more if it had subtitles. /kind of joking //kind of serious also

Heh, I've lived in Cincy my whole life, and I have hated the Bengals my whole life. I don't even care about football all that much.

Deus Ex. First time playing it, and I have really really enjoyed it. Everything I could want in an FPS. Although this last part has kind of been annoying me, if you ever have a companion it is really hard to keep them alive. They also like to run in front of you while you are shooting, which then causes them to become an enemy. Barring that it is really good. EDIT: typo, I know it's Deus and not Dues :D

I actually don't mind ads in games. I don't like when they put ads in games, and still charge the normal rate for a game. But it still doesn't bother me too much. Now this situation I am completely happy with. I am assuming releasing from commercial status means you can download them for free legally? I haven't looked on digg yet today for news so I don't know exactly what it means. If it does mean free, then it is awesome, even with ads. EDIT: No news on digg about it, so I checked out Ubisoft's website. No announcements about anything on there either. They are still selling the games in the downloads section.

D.O.A. - A guy is poisoned and only has a few days to live. It's a film noir movie, and it's pretty good. I enjoy film noir but it isn't my most favourite of genres all the time. The problem I had with this one was the acting, the lead lady wasn't very good at all. Everyone else was OK I guess. The Fortune Cookie - Saw Sumpta's post about The Apartment, and I felt like watching it. Then I took a look at my Billy Wilder collection and noticed I only have seen 3 of the 8 in the set. Figured I should watch the ones I haven't seen. It was good, but like the others it almost seemed like the comedy was a little forced at times. The storyline was good, especially because of the time the movie was made. It was about suing for a ton of money as a result of a personal injury. The whole movie Jack Lemmon has to act like he is partly paralyzed to get the settlement from the insurance company. It was probably really funny then, it is almost kind of sad nowadays though.
