  1. well, of cource it depends... just as a 5 is actually closer to a 6 than 3 is on my dice... the 3 is just one the opposite side of the dice :P ah well... but one atom away in every molecyle, eh well... it does add up, right? :P On a dice 5 and 3 are equally distant from 6. Pick a number on a dice, and there are 4 equally adjacent to that number and 1 on the opposite side. The opposite sides always add up to 7. So 1 is opposite from 6. 2, 3, 4, 5 are all equally distant from 6.
  2. Total posts: 4585 All Posts: 3624 Anyone have an explanation for that yet? I only post in OT, M&M, and VG if you need that for reference.
  3. I collected motiv pics for a few days a while ago. Have over 300. Only kept the good ones. Looking back at them now though they aren't as good as I thought they were, or they are inappropriate for these forums.
  4. Look at my first post on page 1 (February 18th, hell that was a while ago). I made a comment about how much of this thread would be flames. At this point of page 34, I have noticed that most of it has been. There's been some constructive talk in there too though.
  5. OK, that makes sense then. I knew it was something like that, I was trying to work in Ireland into the equation though and I didn't think that was right. I don't see why English, Scottish, or Welsh people would have a problem with being called British then, since they are in Britain.
  6. Multiplayer is disabled. Still pretty cool though.
  7. You are in a constant state of win unless you are thinking about the game, in which case you are losing.
  8. In college you always get homework on the first day of school. When you only meet 16 times every session is important. In my internet class I got my homework for the entire semester the first day. Just has a list of about 100 assignments, due Dec. 15 :D . I should start I guess, it's been three weeks...
  9. I'm actually enjoying that pretty well.
  10. I am pretty lazy, which is why I wouldn't use it. It is big and bulky compared to just walking. It would be too much of a headache.
  11. Is everyone in Great Britain considered British? Now all this has confused me for a while, I guess now is as good a time as any to get it answered. The way I thought it was there were four parts of Great Britain: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Then there was the United Kingdom which I guess is just the same as Great Britain?
  12. My friends claimed to have made this up back in my freshman year of high school, I guess about 7 years ago. At the time from them was the only place I heard about it, so I thought they did make it up. Just figured out last year that a lot of people online knew about it.
  13. Maybe an idea for the future: mention the amount of games that equals 1/6 inventory full or ore. Or something among those lines. I don't think there are 30 spaces anymore. I think that changed when the new Runescape came out.
  14. It is true (at least as far as studies go) that downloading music has helped, or at least hasn't hindered, the sales of CDs. I'll also admit that this has made me feel a little better about downloading stuff illegally, even though I still believe it is wrong. That's why I said earlier the companies would do well to accept it and turn it to their advantage. I still hold the view though that it is ultimately their decision, and if they want to keep suing people, it's their right.
  15. Well Nadril gave the specs that I was looking for, so I won't bother reposting those. Needless to say you can buy a lot of graphics cards that are better than those in the PS3 or 360. Also if that isn't enough, you could buy an SLI mother board and have two graphics cards, each by themselves better than the console ones. Lionheart gave a good example of what the PC can do, and it is a game that won't come out on consoles because they can't handle the graphics (that's been said before also). I think if you don't get it by now you are probably mentally handicapped, or just an idiot. Maybe both.
  16. You can tell something about people who think dogs lives are more important than the safety and well being of children.
  17. Why do people have so much trouble counting to 5? You're the third person who has screwed it up so far.
  18. The Fifth Element - Awesome as always. Milla Jovovich is hot as hell :D .
  19. I think you use the internet for to much research. Or you could just go to digg.com and it is on the frontpage.
  20. This is the most annoying thing I can think of when it comes to dog owners. They always think their dog would "never hurt anyone." Of the three injuries in my family that happened from dogs, they were always by dogs that are "usually very calm" and "never hurt anyone before." All three injuries happened while trying to stay as far away from the dogs as possible because everyone in my family hates dogs. Actually I should say there were four injuries, my big sister got injured from the first and only dog our family ever had, which is why my family hates dogs. That's not sad at all. The dog was on someone else's property, growling at their little girl. Around here that wouldn't warrant a call to the cops, the landowner would shoot it himself. Actually a long time ago my dad did have to do that. 2 dogs were on my cousin's property growling at my older sister (same one who got bit before) and some of my cousins, so my dad had to go over at shoot them. The owners of the dogs came around looking for them, and my dad told him he shot them. They called the cops, the cops got there and saw the situation, and told the owners to remove the carcasses from my cousins property.
  21. Racial remarks justify physical assault?
  22. So you;re telling him to take the wussy, non-confrontational, easy kinda pathetic way out? Go you  . It's neither wussy nor pathetic. It is non-confrontational, which is the best part about it. If someone is being a jackass to you, be a jackass back.
  23. You shouldn't have to reset your router 4 times a day. That is a real problem. I haven't had to reset my router in months.
  24. This is what also confuses me, and if that is the case, wouldn't borrowing a book off a friend, or even a magazine be illegal? First to answer cyco's quote, no that is not stealing. That is copyright infringement. It is still illegal, it is not prosecuted as harshly though. That's why the MPAA an RIAA are propagandizing that copy movies/music is stealing, so they can get more out of it or something. Now for Led's, your analogy doesn't work. If you borrow a book from a friend, the friend no longer has access to it. If you borrow a CD, your friend doesn't have access to it. If you borrow a CD and then copy the songs to your computer, then give the CD back without deleting the songs from your computer, you have committed copyright infringement, which is illegal. A few people so far have explained it pretty well. Copying music is NOT stealing. It is still illegal and (from my subjective viewpoint) morally wrong.
