This topic makes me lol. If you really feel like the end of life you should just kill yourself. None of those problems you listed are anywhere near being important enough to kill yourself over. So if you do kill yourself for no good reason at all you won't reproduce and pass on your "kill yourself over trivial reasons" genes. And that's how evolution works.

Between codecs and DRM only allowing you to play multimedia on certain devices, we are pretty much screwed. Here's a nice little article about it.

You'll never win the format war, that is why I am still buying DVDs. Anyway you go, you lose. Blu-Ray and HD-DVD are only going to be the major ones for a little while, and are probably going to be the last disc format. After that everything will be distributed through the Internet, and then we will have a format war of epic proportions (already like 20 out there).

I still need to buy it, sadly Rushmore is the only Anderson I own. I already spent $100 this month on DVDs, need to take it a little slower :D . EDIT: Damnit, I knew I shouldn't have checked to see how much they cost, I ended up buying all three.

Along with Rushmore in my post above, we have 3/4 of Wes Anderson's major movies watched. Just need someone to watch Bottle Rocket. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou - I remember the first time I watch this, I felt very "meh" about it. I have no idea why, because it is a [bleep]ing awesome movie. Possibly my favourite Wes Anderson movie, but after I watch one that one is always my favourite. Just yesterday Rushmore was my favourite. They are all awesome, and I am really looking forward to Christmas this year, when his next movie comes out.

Uhg, I hated that movie. It was just so dry and so long, and the ambiguity of the plot turned me off. Different people, different strokes I guess :) I really enjoyed it :D . Rushmore - A classic comedy. It may not have rolling on the floor laughing hysterically parts to it, but you will enjoy it every time you watch it. My favourite Wes Anderson movie, and I loved them all.

I just received Pure Pwnage teh complete first season plus the soundtrack. This DVD Profiler 3.0 thing sucks, it won't let me upload my collection. And I can't update DVD Profiler 2.4 for some stupid reason, this is really pissing me off.

There are tons of ladybugs around here. They piss me off very badly, they die in the window sills and it sucks to have to sweep them up. They smell horribly also.

Yeah, Kevin Spacey is one of my favourite (if not my favourite) current actors. Awesome in this movie. "Blade: The Series" - Cast horribly. The first episode was absolutely terrible, and by the end it was up to "almost not a complete waste of time, but still is." If you absolutely love Blade you still won't like this, because they make him a complete little [bleep] in this movie. "Birds of Prey" - After just completing the Blade series, I was skeptical about another TV show based on a comic book. Also, this is DC, and Blade was Marvel (which I like much better). Then after a very [cabbage]ty pilot, I was really not looking forward to watching the rest of the series. I have this problem where I have to finish things though, so I did end up watching the rest. It actually turned out OK overall, still I wouldn't bother watching it unless you like the Birds of Prey comic book storyline. Orange County - Another generic high school movie. Enjoyable, but not much else.

Fun the first time, but when I tried going through it again I just couldn't get into it.

I'm still not sure you understand how this works. Google drives a van around and takes pictures of the streets. These pictures are taken once, and probably won't be updated more than every year or so. It doesn't help stalking at all.

Yeah, it is completely awesome. It's probably only going to be for the big cities though, and won't be able to be updated all that much.
