Washington: Flags replaced w/ Swastikas
no [developmentally delayed] they don't have to hire anyone. God you're [developmentally delayed]. In a purely free-market capitalist system you would be correct. However in the US it isn't true, there are tons of hiring laws. If there are two people with close to the same qualifications, and the one with slightly higher skills claims to be a Nazi, and they end up hiring the one with slightly lower skills, they can definitely get sued and lose. Actually even if their skills aren't anywhere near each other, if the Nazi's is much lower, they could still get sued, but if they could prove one is better than the other they would win the lawsuit. Being a Nazi is like being in any other political party. Same thing would happen if someone was discriminated against for being a Republican, or a Democrat. All that said the person hiring you will never ask what your political party is, and you never will be able to mention it. They don't want to worry about the aforementioned lawsuits.

Article in Daily Mirror
ITT: Tons of self-righteous animal rights activists who find this disgusting, but were just in the "Look what I found" promoting the killing of a bug.

(Vote) Which item is priceless for you? (during 1940s)
A lot of historians around that time think that FDR knew about the attack, but let it happen anyways. It was what got the US into WWII and out of the Great Depression. Of course FDR gets credit for getting us out of the depression because of economic legislation (which is what got us into it in the first place).

My New Favorite Truck!
What's the point of that vehicle? The bed looks like it is about 4ft long, which is pretty pointless.

Which side are you on? (political)
No surprises there.

Which side are you on? (political)
This compass is even worse than the one Striker linked to. That one at least had two axis to go on.

War on Terrorisim.....Your Opinion?
dont talk rubbish man. terrorism is VERY different from communism Way to miss the point entirely. Anyways my opinion on the war on terrorism isn't quite set in stone yet, since I don't have all the facts in (and never will).

console withdrawels
The last time I turned on my Wii was about 3 weeks ago, to check the weather. Last time I played a game on it was about 6 weeks ago. My old PlayStation gets used about 2 hours a day, playing CDs since my CD player is broke. Last time I played a game on it was a year ago. So yeah, no problems with withdrawals here.

Look what I found
I [bleep]ing hate bugs. The picture freaked me out, centipedes are one of my least favourite.

Spiderman 4, Plausable?
Yeah, they definitely aren't. Also Tobey and Kirsten and Raimi have all said they would only come back and do 4 if all the others did, but not if one didn't want to. Tobey is 32 years old now, kind of getting too old to play the Spider-Man character.

Guess that quote
15. Se7en. Any sort of ground rules for this? Like you can only guess 1 per post? It doesn't have to be a competition, so you could just put in there don't guess all of them at once, and hope nobody goes crazy with it.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - I enjoyed it. Better than the second, not quite as good as the first. Se7en - Great, as always, even though I have seen it a good amount of times it still seems as awesome as the first. Watched it with a friend, who surprisingly didn't really love it. I almost always hear good things about it. Letters from Iwo Jima - Like other Clint Eastwood films, it was made pretty well. Also rated pretty highly by others. I enjoyed it and everything, it just seems like everyone else enjoys it is a lot more. Pink Floyd The Wall - Pretty screwed up, but I really enjoyed it. It didn't really seem to make any sort of plot very clear, other than this rock star is [bleep]ed up and crazy. Not a movie I see myself watching over and over, but it's good the first time. Crazy hooked on Pink Floyd's music right now, maybe that's why I liked it so much.

Anyone watch the new LOST(spoiler)?
Every discussion about Lost this past week has mentioned it, but the original person who figured it out is probably DarkUFO. It was on his site pretty much right after the episode ended.
-
has this ever happened to you people??
Yeah, it's called a coincidence.

When the ps3 price drops
I might buy one eventually for the Blu-Ray player. I need to get an HDTV first though.

Anyone watch the new LOST(spoiler)?
The station wouldn't have flooded. Technically the little room that he was in wouldn't flood all the way either, but the writers of the show are writers, not physicists, so I just let it slide as suspension of disbelief. Also the doors have wheel-things on the outside to close them, so they can be closed from Desmond's side. Charlie decided to die because that was the only way to save Claire. EDIT: screwed up the quote tags

fellow teens... this ever happen to u?
Probably wasn't trying to be mean, just was wondering if you had enough money, and was pissed off that she had to be at work.

Any1 plz help me! im keep on havin nightmares....
You'll be fine in just a few days. Nightmares aren't all that bad though. It pisses me off that I don't sleep well but when I am up in the morning and remembering my dreams the nightmares are usually much more interesting than the regular dreams.

What games do you wish you never bought?
I almost died from playing that game too much (exaggerating obviously, but not by much). I loved it. I don't buy too many games that I haven't already played, so I haven't made too many bad decisions.

American's soon need Homeland Security approval
I had to sign a paper from the Homeland Security department saying I wasn't a terrorist, wasn't planning on being a terrorist, and didn't know any terrorists when I applied for a job a month or two ago.

Anyone watch the new LOST(spoiler)?
Here is the full text of the newspaper clipping that was leaked. No official source has confirmed though. If that is true, Michael is probably the one in the casket. Obviously he would have had to have a name change after he made it back to the main land, since he was supposed to be dead. Why Walt isn't at the wake is unknown, and how Jack knows what he changed his name to probably can be explained fairly easily, but is still unknown.

The funiest movie youve seen?
It depends entirely on the situation. Also, how many times I have seen the movie. Cannibal: The Musical almost always has me on the floor laughing, but I have seen it quite a dew times now. The South Park movie as well. Dr. Strangelove is hilarious. A ton of good comedies can be mentioned.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
I agree with this completely. I was pleasantly surprised with it.
