"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
A smile is just a smile and you're probably reading far too much into it because you like her. Best thing to do it to try talking to her and see where it goes from there. The worst that will happen is you end up asking her out and she says no and you move on.

Where are you from?
Wales, UK for the most part. North Midlands, England for slightly less than the most part.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
It's going to hurt no matter what you just have to decide which is going to hurt more. If you love her and she loves you as much as you have implied then take the risk and move with her to Australia? If you're having your doubts maybe it would be for the best for you to let her go. Long distance relationships are difficult to say the least and can be quite stressful but they can also work out but you would need the hope of being able to see her every so often to make it easier on you both.

The Great Ring Of Wealth Experiment(Method updated[Step3&4])
To be honest I think you need to make more than 100 kills to draw a decent conclusion, it is too small a number to see a significant difference. For example while wearing the RoW you could fairly consistently get items worth say 500gp however when not wearing the RoW by chance you could get one or two drops of an item worth 15k which would mess with the results. Even calculating averages wouldn't show you too much of a difference so you might want to up the number of kills. Your choice though. Good luck :

So, what did you dream about last night?
You test it by monitoring brain activity during sleep I think, if someone is dreaming then their brain activity will be higher than that of those who aren't. You will generally dream several times in a night (or day depending on your sleeping patterns :P) but you often don't remember your dreams. Anyway I hate most of my dreams a lot. I seem to be plagued with some really weird dreams and if I wake up during one of them, no matter what time it is I will not get back to sleep. They're kind of hard to explain without sounding insane and you'd have to experience them to find out why I hate them so much. The last dream I remember was this morning and it was really random. My alarm went off at 7:30 because I had a 9am lecture but I was so tired I didn't get out of bed and must have drifted back to sleep for a few minutes because I thought that two of my flat mates had come into my room (which was locked), turned my heating on, picked up a pair of my socks and walked out. Man I looked like an idiot asking if my flat mates came into my room last night and stole a pair of my socks while turning my heating on  :P

Little Boy Father At 13 (After DNA Test, Not The Father)
There is now speculation that the boy may not actually be the child's father. I'm not really surprised. I guess it makes it slightly better if there is an older father, but it just adds to the problems :wall: I couldn't find anything about it on BBC or Sky News so ITV will have to do: ITV News

Little Boy Father At 13 (After DNA Test, Not The Father)
The boy would be charged with statutory rape in that instance for having sex with an underage girl. To clear things up for those confused about pressing charges: Statutory rape is when at least one of the participants is under the age of consent (which in most European countries and the US is 16). If both participants are under the age of consent then the older one will be the one to have charges pressed against them. That's my understanding anyway. If you have time to kill and want to read up on it check out Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statutory_rape @Chaise: The average age for sperm fertility is 14 so it is possible that he became fertile younger than the average, although again I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't his child.

Little Boy Father At 13 (After DNA Test, Not The Father)
It's still considered rape in the United States. And perhaps where you live as well. It's considered rape in the UK as well but I doubt anything will be done about it. I guess this shows why we have one of the worst teenage pregnancy levels in Europe. At the age of 13 I was only interested in trying to get a shiny Charizard pokemon card, shows how the world changes in 5 years. I have to say that it is admirable that the kid wants to look after his child but I think it will be far too much of a challenge for him and she would be better off in the care of adults to allow both children to carry on with their education so that in the future they may be able to provide for their daughter. I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years the mother is pregnant with another child and there is a different father. Harsh but true.

Valentines Day (Singles Awareness Day) Will Soon Be Upon Us.
See this topic: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=751428 I wouldn't try and make her fall in love with you though... This year will be my 18th year straight being single on Valentine's Day  :( I don't like the day, and will like it even less this year because pretty much everyone of my mates at Uni is in a relationship :wall:

Let it snow!
The reason the UK grinds to a halt when it snows is because it isn't equipped to deal with much snow at all as it is rare that there is more than a couple of inches. If it was more frequent then we would be better prepared. My University is closed today because lecturers can't get in because the town I'm in is pretty remote and there's been about 7 or 8 inches just outside. Snow ball fights on the beach are fun :

Peer pressure
A few people in my flat at Uni tried to get me to drink because I don't, but once I said no all but one of them dropped it and respected my choice, but one of them continues to try and pressure me into drinking and tries to pressure other people into doing various things. Needless to say we don't like each other much. I also remember being told at school that I would be offered drugs often and I should say no and like Nick_6464 I haven't even been asked to smoke. Side Note: When I saw the topic title I thought it said 'Peer Pleasure'

Differences in British and American English
I remember when I moved back to England from America I used to get penalised for using American English, I did quickly adjust though. I can't remember what the teachers thought of me using British English in America. I don't think it should be a big deal though, at the end of the day they are the same words just with slight spelling differences. As for which I think is better? That will just end in a flame fest at some point so it's better not to say :?

Windows 7 beta
From what I've heard, some people have found the actual download link, and then you can download it from any browser... I have not tried this, though. I managed to download it fine in Safari so I guess it's possible in Firefox too. I find it runs pretty quick, faster than any experience I had on Vista. It wont convert me back to Windows though.

Perambulation
When I'm at home I enjoy taking my dog for a walk because it allows me to clear my head and think about things more clearly. At Uni I love walking along the sea front and staring out to sea or at night just listening to the waves, great for thinking which I seem to do too much of these days.

Plane crashes into Hudson River
I heard once that falling from height onto water can actually result in more damage to the object than if something fell onto concrete. I'm not overly sure how true that is though... Anyway well done to the pilot for missing downtown Manhattan and managing to prevent any deaths or serious injuries of passengers =D>

What is your 'thing'?
At school I was known for my sarcasm, quick wit, quietness, laziness and being someone people could go to for advice, usually about relationships which I found ironic. At Uni I'm known for my quietness, someone to go to for relationship advice, the one who doesn't drink.

Why do you wear "great" armor or use an "awesome" weapon?
I used Torag's armour for Slayer training because I think it looks better than Rune, likewise I wear Sara D'hide because I prefer its looks to black d'hide. I'm not sure if I would ever buy Bandos even if I could afford it as I would much rather spend the money on skills or making my house look good. I have been guilty of buying Dragon armour on several occasions just for the looks

Weekly Poll: What web browser do you use?
Surely Safari should have been on there instead of Netscape? I use mainly Safari but I do use FF from time to time or when I'm at home.

Skinny girls and the guys who love them.
One of the big problems is that being thin is portrayed in the media very negatively because they focus on the women who starve themselves to be thin. For example a model (I think it was Victoria Beckham) ate 3 raisins for each meal for a few weeks after child birth in order to return to her original figure. What the media neglect to tell the world is there are actually women out there who have fast metabolic rates or women who are genetically thin. Of course the opposite is true for the larger women as there are women who are genetically over-weight and have slower metabolic rate yet the media like to suggest that it's all down to them eating cakes and KFCs every second of every day. We live in a society dominated by the media and ideals but it doesn't mean we have to go along with them. Humans still have the ability to form their own opinions and make their own choices. However it's difficult for us to choose what we do and do not like so we can't really control wether we find ourselves attracted to thin women, larger women or what is portrayed as the "ideal". I think I might have strayed a way from the topic a little and I don't think what I wrote made a huge amount of sense :wall:

Quantum of Solace - Bond 22
The film looks ok but I'm not as full of anticipation about this film as I was about the others. It just doesn't seem like a Bond film, the way it is continuing on from the previous one and like Pyromancer said the title doesn't feel like a Bond film at all. The theme tune for it is awful too and definitely not a Bond film, it makes me wonder if Alicia Keys and Jack White have ever actually heard a Bond theme before. It is a break away from the traditional Bond and hopefully it will be a good film...

A request of friends [all 10 threads found]
It is, so in theory they should be readable if you remove all that. I can't remember what they were like when they were first published so I'm not sure if that is the case or not.
