anybody have family in california?
I live in Rancho Penasquitos, just half a mile south of the cutoff for the mandatory evacuation zone for the witch creek fire, which is probably the most dangerous fire right now. The air is pretty thick with smoke, and half of my community has already evacuated. As long as the wind doesn't turn against us, we should be okay, but we have everthing packed up and ready to go just in case we need to evacuate. The entire county is in chaos, and I'm very thankful for how lucky I am right now. It's just strange how the same exact thing happened exactly 4 years ago (Down to the very same week), yet we didn't learn anything from it.

23 October 2007 - Hallowe'en Event - For ALL
For all those people complaining about the polls: Are you getting angry at the community just because they don't agree with YOUR OPINION? To be honest, you don't even know if the fremmenick achievemnet diary would have better rewards than the Varrock Diary. Also, who said that the broom would allow you to hover on it indefinitely? For all we know, it could have been a short emote similar to the rubber chicken dance. I suggest that anybody who argues that the public opinion is garbage should get off their high horses, and quit deciding what is right and wrong for a community much larger than their over inflated egos.

Weather; does it effect your emotions?
Sunny: Content/optimistic Hot + Sunny/humid: Tired/irritable Overcast/cloudy: Neutral Light rain: Nostalgic Heavy rain/Thunderstorms: Amplifies current emotion (If I'm sad, I become depressed, if I'm happy, I become joyful. Also, I tend to feel more comfortable indoors.) Cold and windy: Serious/intense focus Foggy/Misty: Curious Snow: N/A (I live in Southern California, but I can only imagine that it would have the same effect as Heavy rain + Cold and windy + foggy) It seems that most people here react positively to rain, yet studies show that people who live in rainy areas such as Seattle tend to be more depressed. Strange...

Running while pking
If people are fighting in low level wilderness, they probably don't want to lose their stuff. Therefore, they're going to run no matter what. As others have said, try the duel arena, or higher level widerness.

Am I Finished With RuneScape?
You became bored and left because you realized there was nothing left for you to do in the free world. I'm sure if you started playing the member's game you'd become addicted all over again. It's an entirely different game. However, the choice is up to you. Nobody is forcing you to play the game, just choose to play whatever you enjoy.

Eventually they'll run out.
Jagex never said they would stop making dragon items they just told us to stop suggesting them because they have it all thought out. They are not desperate and a person (let alone 300) can't run out of ideas. I really can't see the end of runescape unless people stop paying, but they won't because Jagex always comes up with something new and exciting. I can see it now, a movie about the end of Runescape: "300 Java programmers make their futile but glorious last stand against over 1 million angry players in 'The battle of Misthalin'. They fight for honor, glory, and new content, sacrificing themselves so that their game may live on. This is blasphemy! This is Madness! This. Is. JAGEEEX!" :anxious: Anyway, on a less spamtastic note, the only thing that I see is reaching its limits in Runescape is the Hitpoints system. Already, it's almost possible to one hit KO a person with 99 HP. If Jagex can find a way to solve this problem, then Runescape could probably last for another decade.

What Jagex Rule would you Remove
For the people who disagree with the offensive language rule: Just because somebody is over the age of 13 doesn't mean they want to hear/see those words. I'm 17, and I'd rather not have to see players throwing obscenities around while I'm trying to relax and play the game. Besides, do we really want to grant the immature players the ability to swear?

Behind the Scenes - September Edition
Mages are really hurting for a power boost after melee got the godswords, Dragonfire shield, and Dragon full helm, and range got the dark bow and armadyl armor... Perhaps this is the boost we've been waiting for?

3 days at barrows (Many pictures)
Blah.... I've been barrowing off and on for the past few months, and your collection completely trumps all I have to show for my efforts.... Nevertheless, 10/10 Awesome job accumulating that in only 3 days! (P.S: What do you normally get your kill count up to on your runs?)

*Throws away the Dusty Key* :)
At level 70 agility, you can use the pipe shortcut in Taverly dungeon which takes you directly to the blue dragons, bypassing the door which requires the dusty key.

Is Jagex taking the piss?
It's not that customer support is a "Sad bunch of Runescape Nerds" or anything.... they're just trying to make an automated message seem more personalized :?

Age Oriented Worlds?
As long as people can lie about their age on the internet, this idea will never work.

My first two 99's - At the same time?!
Today, I achieved my first two 99 skills: Magic and Cooking Sounds boring? There's a catch: I reached them at the exact same time using the lunar bake pie spell! I might get a Bank pic up, but it's pretty messy right now...

In light of King's Ransom: RESPAWN POINT discussion
It should be noted that Fally's respawn spot usually doesn't have people around. If you're poisoned and left with no food when a ring of life saves you, you can usually allow yourself to die at the castle, and then pick up your stuff right away. In Camelot and Lumbridge, there are a ton of people around, and it's likely that they'd all jump for your stuff if a similar situation were to occur at those respawn points.

Favorite game series?
I hated that. IT was utterly pointless. I expected more from a third gen. console game. I'm sorry, I meant the RPG Paper Mario games for the N64 and Gamecube. I enjoy Super Paper Mario as well, but it doesn't even come close to the greatness that was Paper Mario or Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

Favorite game series?
The Paper Mario Series (different from the mainstream Mario series) Humorous Dialogue and storyline, interesting graphic style, addicting gameplay, what more could you want?

Obby Effect stacks on top of Void Knight set?
The void armor DOES work outside of pest control. By the way, I heard that a person wearing Void knight melee set effect is about equal in power as a person wearing the barrows gloves and neitiznot/berserker helmet combined, but NOT the fighter torso. If the obby necklace effect stacks with the void knight set, it may trump all the other equipment Jagex has released. Keep in mind, though, that the obby necklace effect only works when wielding an obsidian weapon.

What would be the most useless item to have irl?
A firecape? It would probably just burn everything it touched...

Hello, Dragon Pickaxe?
My guess is that they meant to paste the "Bronze through Dragon" description for the full helmets. It would make more sense.... Anyway, as an avid miner myself, I can only hope they release the Dragon Pickaxe soon

Sweet! New Anti-Autopicker Idea, and it works!!!!
Just bring a fire staff, a couple thousand nature runes, and an equal amount of something to cast high alchemy on, and it won't be as bad :) . I think there are more than enough people alching in seer's village alone to block up the entire field. However, this wouldn't only hurt the autoers, it would also annoy the honest players trying to pick flax. This idea might not be as great as we think. :|

What're these two Wearing?
The left is definately studded leather chaps (g). The reason they look funny if because the player is bending over, and the gold is stretched. The red you see on the chaps comes from the the arrows which are on the side of all chaps.

Any green weapons?
Off the top of my head: -Magic secateurs -Green Swamp Lizard You could always use a staff of guthix, since you already have guthix robes
