I think the content could have been better. Afterall, its a dungeon crawl not a skipfest. Since its the year of [developmentally delayed]s errr.. clans and they need to risk everything to feel like they did something then I propose if you die in dungeoneering then your booted from the dungeon. No xp. Now thats risk for reward. :thumbup: Obviously somebody else has to die but you since you don't have time to get prepared. Sticking colored key in colored holes and doing some simple pattern recognition puzzles doesn't qualify as complex. But if you think it is, then your making it so.

I suppose this notion is as plausible as the rock climbers thing. I just think that Jagex needs to deep six this whole, rare, hard-to-get-item fetish they have been on the last few years. They just aren't capable of handling it. One foul update and everybody loses. Most have already lost to begin with because of the rampant rwting going on.

Did you get that from the high level forums? Max Cape has been polled on HLF for over 2 years now, and it was "generally the idea" that it'd be the best cape in game. Not sure where you read that it would have better stats than fire cape or soul wars cape. Looks like primarily a cosmetic cape like all the other ones. I look forward to my max cape and veteran cape. I probably can't be bothered with the completionist cape. My interest in runescape wanes because of battlestar galatica online. 8-)

I wouldn't call one player quiting the end of an era. Afterall, nobody refers to old runescape as the Zezima era.

The game needed a way to get more herbs and more farming seeds. They cost too much right now. I think these new drops are a step in the right direction to fix that problem. Farming always sucked for money and its the most expensive 99 to buy. Anything that changes that like this update works for me.

I logged in, but their was no xp bonus number showing like last year. Looks like we have been had or they can't figure out how to program a bonus counter like last year. Hello Jagivision.

I couldn't tell you what voice was from what future star or long time B actor. It just doesn't matter, the toys were the point. When the toys stopped being the point and what clown voiced what, then its over. I was never that big on GI Joe because alot of the stuff was pricey. I remember the aircraft carrier being over a $100 in the stores which is why only the rich kid on the block had it. Only thing I owned was cobra's A-10 looking thing. I couldn't remember their made up name for the life of me. I was big into He-man. I had all the figurines, evil lynn, man-at-arms, he-man in like 3 or 4 different outfits, battlecat, panthor, skeltor, castle greyskull, snake mountain, and on and on... Jetfire was my favorite transformer even if it was a Robotech looking jet and not a real one. I also had the triple formers which were neat. I can't remember the name but I had the robot/space shuttle/railroad train thing. I also liked Dirge which was that european fighter/bomber looking thing. I had a ton of star wars toys as well. (x-wing, tie fighter, darth vader's ship) I have far more of that than anything else. They are worth some serious dough nowadays, but I hang on to them.

Did you watch the same transformer animated movie i did? I honestly think you're just talking to talk. the main purpose of the movie was to effectively kill off the entire toybox or the majority of it and bring in new characters to sell at retail - they did the SAME THING with GI Joe except they didn't kill off duke due to the backlash of primes death. Both Films introduce a ton of new characters intended to sell new toys. Buzz Dixon (Hasbro big wig at the time) even said so on the extra features of one of the dvd releases or at joe/botcon. Some Transformers were good kills - the voice actor for Jazz died after the movie - And Casey Kasem left the show anyways. Both movies were guilty of bringing in "big name" voice actors to help sell the movie to parents. Nimoy (trek), Orson Wells (citizen kane...war of the worlds), Robert Stack (Untouchables), Judd Nelson (Breakfast club), Eric Idle (Monty Python) - all of these voice actors were replaced for the following season. Hot rod and Ultra Magnus were key characters just as much as galvatron - and that arguement is a fallacy. GI Joe brought in Burgess Meredith (Batman, rocky) Don Johnson (Miami Vice) , Jennifer Darling (Six Million Dollar Man), Sgt Slaughter (WWE), and other "household names. Infact, both shows used and made use of former TV stars. Gi Joe employed Kene Holiday and Lee Weaver (Matlock and Easy Street) and Transformers used guys like Alan Openhiemer, Roger Carmel, Scatman Crothers, Casey Kasem, Walker Edmiston and Aron Kincaid. Both casts has plenty of "Celebrities" doing roles before nimoy. Yea, I seen it in the movie theatre when it first came out. Top that? I remember feeling crappy after the movie because as a kid seeing optimus prime kick the bucket in like the first 10 minutes of the movie was tramatic. On top of that all the new toys were crap. They definitely killed off the toybox and the series to top that. In it's place was just wierd ass looking alien vehicles and then they moved on to bug/animal crap. If you played with the action figures then you knew how cool shockwave/jetfire was to transform, and how stupid the redone megatron/galvatron was. The movie definitely marked the end of transformers. GI JOE is way older than me. Kids were getting action figures in the 50s or 60s. They redid it in the 80s with a cartoon and all the characters your thinking of. I used to go down to the rich kid's house and play with his aircraft carrier. You could actually land the f-14 on there and a super cobra to boot.

A "kids" TV show that's original fanbase are now in the prime 25-35 age band that spend the most money. Its an optimal group to market for. I think this game will be more than meets the eye and am looking forward to hearing more about it. They were action figures first and foremost. Just like GI Joe and He-man. It's what kids played with before video games caught on. You know before nintendo or sega master system. Once the toys caught on, then Hasbro decided to cash in big by having somebody make a cartoon about it. Thus the old 80's cartoon which was decent until they made that movie with Lenord Nemoy. Been utter garbage since. Unless the Gower's make it like the action figures or the old cartoon that we used to watch, then it will be utter crap like the two live action "movies". Anyway, this signals the beginning of the end for runescape as Jagex tries to become the next Activision.

It was a little better than I thought it would be. But, my expectations were quite low as in this is going to be useless noob stuff for low levels. In fact, the positives of this update are that its just plain fun to train there for a little bit. Making ceremonial swords is fun and so is breaking down cannons and trying to fix the individual pieces. The bad news is that the only thing you get there is xp. Its simply a training place and it seems filthy expensive since you don't take away anything of value to sell out. As for rewards, the cannon mods were a terrific idea that was again gimped by the necessity to limit it to just cosmetic skins. In the end, I think only DIY players and low levels are going to use the joint when they tire from mining/superheating. As for smithing being useless, its not, even if this didn't add anything. Remember, somebody has to make bolts and cannonballs that people use up on a daily basis. Unfortunately, since free trade is back then the later is being botted up.

That skill is called dungeoneering. You know the one where you don't kill anything and complain if your doing it for more than 20 minutes.

I think if you lay down your cannon in the SE end of the cavern and camp just south of it at the tunnel openning you won't have to pay a noob to block for you or try to get black demons stuck in odd positions to block each other out for all the of 10 seconds they live. It's there but in two very specific forms so there can be no vagueness because jagex is always trying to cut down on false reports. You have "website advertising" and "selling account". In your particular case you would have needed to witness the transaction and then reported the person who actually sold the gold to the other person for real world items. That would go under "selling account" or technically part of an account. Personally, I just mute the clowns on site that spam "buy rs gold @ such and such" or "selling my noob for such and such on another game". No warning and bam they will never know what hit them, because I'll never say a word. 8-)
