  1. Highest spell you have. Only thing weak against a certain spell is ice strykeworms.
  2. Cool, that might be my 4th bind if I never find a hex bow. With my t10 gatherer/artisan I'm usually ready to sweep in 2-3 ores. No doubt, but I kept my hood so I can get to the ore easier.
  3. Lol? Castle wars should be like the opening not like the rest.
  4. Yup. "F2p isn't a demo" my ass. It will be on there to keep members out. Knowing Jagex it will be too low and nobody will use it.
  5. Hah, every year that average herb yield per patch climbs. Last time I tried to give this community a reality check I was bombarded with its 6 herbs not 5! 5 of course being my personal experience time and time again. But, hey glad to see the number is climbing, too bad Jagex actually didn't change the code. What do you call it when somebody claims something is awesome then a few lines later say "its more unfavorable than ever"? I call it a disclaimer for that somebodies opinion.
  6. I can buy 25+ of them yet I can't find a single use for one of them. But, please afk one in the name of efficiency...
  7. Sounds normal to me. 3 is the minimum with both those things. Although, over 5 patches I can usually score at least 20 herbs.
  8. This is the way farming is. I have been posting for years about how little you make on farming in reality. Everybody works the spreadsheets and never considers stuff dieing. So if nothing dies then you make some money but for most stuff its what 100k-200k every 2 hours. Thats pretty junky in my book and I'm not a gp factory like some people claim to be. My word of advice for you is never plant torstols outside of My Arms joint.
  9. Coinshare needs to be removed. It was simply a horrible remedy to the lack of free trade and the unfairness of random drops. It's created millions of gps out of thin air and seriously imbalanced the game towards a few boring camping places. Of course Jagex soon realized their mistake and added lootshare potential which is a far better fix. But then they leave in coinshare...
  10. Depends on how dedicated you are. It took me 4 years to go from 85 to 99. Of course if I wanted to now then I could probably get another 13mil xp in 3-4 months. (cannon not required)
  11. The GE price will be optional. Who cares what it is or whether or not its been effected by noob trading. Nobody is going to follow it on limited run items. You'll be forced to deal directly with the person standing next to the GE. I wonder if we can get another tomisme price guide going on RSOF.
  12. They are adding signature heros here some time. You can see them on the front page. They will be role models for the kids to copy. I doubt it will work though. Just one trip to an illustrious clan forum and your kid will come back a wannabe gangster. Complete with an education in DDOS, hacking, tricking, character impersonation and assassination. Pking isn't about PVP its about pixels and being one cool badass thug.
  13. Hood, Blood Necklace, Primal Battle Axe, surgebox. If I get more binds, then I would start adding primal armour if I don't come up with a hexhunter bow.
  14. How did you come up with that conclusion? We all know of your hatred towards reasonable math so your conclusion that you need primal top and legs came from..... ? Don't worry if I have a hatred of "reasonable" math (truely laughable), because your opinion lacks any whatsoever along with any proof that prom plate is better than blood necklace. Now, I call tanking something when I can manage to avoid 8+ hits out of 10. Not when running around naked praying this and that and calling for help when one sees a guardian door room loaded to the brim in lvl 128 fruit bats. Just a primal plate gets you high 200s in defense accross the board. (minus crush a staple of many monsters) Lets face it your going to get hit half the time and you my as well pray to the god of 20 minute dungeons to save you a few deaths. Binding primal armour just saves you time in making it. Now if you want to actually tank, you need body, legs, and shield. (helm is pro) You really need 400+ in a stat to tank 128 zombie axe throwers or 150-180 undead meleers or anything of the highest order. (You my aswell just pray if you don't load up) 500+ defense with a blood necklace is what I always shoot for. I call it dungeon sweeper mode. Now I can make a statement with all them miss shields covering me in head to toe. Just wade on into a crowd of enemies and watch the little red 40s pop up everywhere. While the crowd of a naked hoods stands outside the door wondering who is going to go into that guardian room with 5 128 zombies and a pair of 100+ necros and take care of business, I'm taking heads off and spitting down zombie throats. Merc room, no problem, you just stay out, Dungeon Sweeper can handle that with a little mage prayer. Summoning room, somebody get some entangles and get that bloodrager off me and you won't even have to feed me. Things you can't tank. The big 140+ brutes and the lvl 300+ giant npcs. Well you can but it can get ughly if you afk clear guardian doors like The Dungeon Sweeper. Too late.
  15. None if you get the rare drops like blood necklaces and hexhunter bows. I can always make a prom armour but my blood necklace is priceless. Primal plate is way overated. Unless you have both top and bottom you won't get enough defense to tank stuff.
  16. Somebody died in the catacombs at barrows yesterday. I blessed their grave wasting 2/3 of a prayer pot. In honor of bringing the wilderness back I will never do that again. I'll just obscure the grave with my character or an npc and loot from now on.
  17. Its an alright tip. I never have a chance to take bones to an altar. If they implemented harder dungeons and rewarded you more for killing things then this would work better. Thankfully, however, Tip.It Forum is a great community for all players, no matter what their combat level is. If no one posted tips for lower leveled players, the forums would be somewhat skewed towards one direction, and a large chunk of players would have a hard time finding advice to fit their needs. There's a high chance that at least one person will find help or learn something new from every topic, so I would be a little weary when telling people to go find another forum. It's funny that on RSOF there is an elite forum that most players can't access. And its full of the things that most players despise: narcissism, trolling, and JAGEX GIVE ME STUFF. This forum needs more new players because it's getting stale like efficiency.
  18. I used primal longsword for awhile and now use primal battle axe. If stab was aggresive on the primal long then I would have kept using it.
  19. You're not able to make 3M per hour right? Correct. I top out around 2mil/hr but frost dragons bore me easily and godwars dungeon/tormented demons got old several weeks after their releases. Not really, but then again I see it through the view point of a player. I don't ruin the game (merchant), I don't scam little kids, I'm not a thug (pker) or bug abuser (staker), I don't RWT or bot, and I don't make up numbers like the efficiency crowd. So 3mil/hr really isn't chump change from my point of view.
  20. Here is the actual repair prices minus the usual BS from the runescape community. Add that to your 2mil chaotic weapon and thats 5.5mil down the tube every 10 hours. Yikes!
  21. Thanks. But you better get real and realize that juju hunter potions don't take 0 time. No lackies [sic. per the mascot wannabe] are going to be able to get it for you. Nor is it meaningful to talk about farming on an xp/hr basis without considering you can only grow so many things per day. But, please get 200mil in everything but farming then show us how its done like on the spreadsheet.
  22. Not a jmod but another player said that. There is a thread about nex's weakness where a bunch of players plead for some tips. But there wasn't a serious reply by any jagex staff. They don't really give special treatment to people on that forum. Although, there is more interaction with jagex staff on that forum. There was a nice post from Paul where he defended the whole wildy vote thing, but I can't find it now. You can look into zanik's crossbow if your trying new things, somebody claimed it works like a charm.
  23. Agility is 70k/hr. Farming is like 500k/day with 0 life, unlimited gp, and a passion for vinesweeper. Your not even close try again lol. Construction with long bones to 200mil isn't happening try 500k-600k with mahogany tables. Hunter is 220k with dragon jadinkos. Dungeoneering isnt 320k/hr, but what it is very subjective an anything over 225k is highly questionable. Slayer 40k/hr doubtful, 30k if you cannon and use lunar contact to move about quickly, never pick up a drop, and have lackies bring you supplies on a regular basis. That being said dapledo is front runner for the 0 life 200mil everything award. Grats. Jagex should employ you as the mascot for runescape.
  24. You need to throw dungeoneering level in there somewhere. Since we all know that having a choatic weapon is a serious upgrade in melee abilities.
  25. Funny thread. Aren't you the one who said that maul was best at bandos? Or were you the one who said rapier and dragon defender was best? Now you wanna use a shield? Bought a CLS and found out how good it is compared to rapier? Anyhow, damage soak on armour takes alot of the sting out of stuff and is affordablely priced. I think most runescapers would get more value out of a protectable piece of new armour than over 2008's RWT junk.
