  1. Nope. They don't know anything about the skill at level 60. If you have no knowledge of something, you can't reasonably have an opinion about it. Please, both of you, stop making me state the obvious. Oh dear god, I'm so sorry about that. How can I forget that you're obviously correct in your opinions and that once you hit level 60, you magically gain a whole new perspective on the whole skill! God forbid anyone actually go through large floors 25- and learn what the skill is all about!!!! When did I state that 60 grants one intrinsic knowledge of the skill? I didn't say that. Congratulations -- you can read! Just kidding. Come back when you feel like constructing an actual argument. It takes a lot of experience to become a pro dungeoneer. The skill does not end at an absurdly low level like most other skills, and it changes quite drastically the higher level you are. Mining is almost exactly the same from level 1 to 99. Construction is almost exactly the same from level 1 to 99. Oh dear god, I'm so sorry about that. How could I forget that you're obviously correc- lol, just kidding, you're wrong, as per usual. Holey cow dude didn't you notice the recycled junk from floor 1 to floor 50. Nothing changes in dungeoneering other than the scenery. Hell I went warped last night and met up with an old friend from the pheonix cave. Yeah them stupid lava mage things. Dungeoneering = colored keys in colored holes and some puzzle to annoy you (which you can get on any floor). Only thing you get that is new is a boss.
  2. This is what you get when people complain about defense and prayer being over-powered for years. Korasi's special for some reason doesn't work with profound armour from castle wars so I never use it. CLS and dds hit way higher in that situation.
  3. The quest is pure speculation nothing is confirmed. Personally, I doubt Jagex will do anything more with dungeoneering. Its a done deal, and in that usual Jagex manner, "you can take it or leave it".
  4. Cute. I had 5 million xp less than jdlcrox in 2007 and now its like 1.5 billion. Lol...
  5. We are there already. Blame dungeoneeering for this. Its really brought the worst part of WOW to rs. (the freakin balogna community) Just read the "pro" thread and join their l2dung clan. Sadly, its not just rushers who are assclowns. I joined a non-rush group this weekend and was scolded for wasting the prom ore to make a plate over a chain. It was truely laughable because their were a ton of untouched rocks. Needless to say I alched every damn ore & chain they threw on the home floor before they could boot me. The only good news is that the elistists are trying to break off. Maybe they can start up their own clown site.
  6. Yes your right the number of people effect the moving of spots. In fishing, every so often there is a dice roll to see if the spot moves. You can observe that when a large number of people move from one to spot to the next that often times the spot will move immediately. I believe the dice roll occurs when you start to fish. As for trees, like the 3 magics in the elf land, its best to actually have everybody on one tree. This is because when somebody is cutting there is a dice roll to see if the tree is felled or not. If 3 people were cutting each tree individually then there is a chance that all 3 trees will be felled in about the same time which leaves you with nothing. By having everybody on the same tree, it leaves 2 more trees to move to when you fell it. Its common knowledge, ask your fellow players in game at those spots. ;)
  7. Not useless. But not as uselful as they were when they were released before fairy rings, explorer rings, etc..
  8. Then why are you not singing? OT: I was in the same position a while ago. Then I decided to try out slayer for a while, and from about 80 melees, all the way to where I am now, all I have done was slayer. I found a way to train that I liked, so I would advise you to go try out different types of training methods. You don't have to camp AZ's or anything to train melee stats. Because I orchestrated a typo which I would have never found without the kind assistance of xtroll...
  9. Runescape is a choir. Its always been this way. Its best to take little steps and not worry about the "end game". If you just want to train stats in combat there are things like pest control and soul wars where you can welfare it and make big gains. If you want to combat and make some money in welfare gear there are places like barrows and dragons.
  10. Draconic or the highlest level one you can get without failing a ton like god jadinkos.
  11. You get hints at 2 and 3. Having nothing in a spot counts as a combination. No bush was part of my sara jadinko combo. Maybe you are forgetting that and not adding nothing into your cycling.
  12. If the ranger has void+deflector and rigour I have a hard time imagining this. The main weakness of range nowadays is that to be maxed (i.e. rigour), you give up soul split. Void isn't good for PVP unless your definition of range PVP is hit and run with a dbow spec. You'd be better off in dhides for real encounter, especially if your going to use rigor. Nah, void+deflector gives max dps for range. I'm also pretty sure void+deflector rangers can beat dhide rangers... and void+deflector rangers are definitely better against mages than dhide rangers Range on Range you strap on armoured legs & a helm & a good shield. Void range doesn't have a chance.

  14. I can most certainly deny this 150k/hr with horns nonsense. That would be 75k/hr regular. Thats a stretch. If you would have said 65k/hr I might believe it, since I don't drop and get about 50-55k/hr...
  15. Before you could click on the pile until all the very expensive items are taken and then take the rest of the low alch items and non-food items. Now, you have to right click everything, which is terrible. Definitely not an improvement. Also, how can you criticize gp/xp rates when they are effectively a constant. It would be like you criticizing the universal gas constant just because it can have too many dimensions, which, no doubt, you'd do. Its actually the opposite lol. Gear is always on bottom or least it was the last time I died. But, now I don't have to worry about that. Textbook constants (stefan-boltzmann, avagadro's, etc...) have withstood criticism and experimental refinement from various groups over decades. Not, hey my friend got 100k xp/hr mining & dropping at that living cavern place.
  16. He always stood out in a crowd. I remember him trying to bind me so his DI friends could pk me around the MB. I got away because half his gear was flippers and bunny ears lol. Last time I saw something from him was a post on RSC maybe 1-2 years ago. It seems like a bunch of the old school tifers migrated over to RSC. Probably because of the clan/pking boards.
  17. Try looting food or picking up items on death with the new system. Going to be easy if I die. Its all about priorities now. Its not about jamming buttons and filling up your inventory with food, pots, or junk. Then having to walk a few spaces away and drop some of the junk. Then walk back to your death pile pick up some gear, inventory fills again. Then walk somewhere else, drop some more junk. Then back, get some more gear, if it's still there... That would be you starting petitions on RSOF. Also, make believe xp /gp rates deserve criticism not a pat on the ego.
  18. Dagannoth Bones 79gp/xp Dragon Bones 69gp/xp I'd sell for Dragon Bones since I want to spend as little time as possible there.
  19. Its easier than before once you get used to it. I can pick up what I want instead of having to take up a whole inventory to get at something. I lost a fire cape to the old system, so I'm happy about this change.
  20. The clowns moved in. Graduated from RSOF with their "high level" of knowledge. If your opinion differs from them then wam bam thank you mam for the troll. If your accomplishments are below their standards then swoosh in come the "fail", "pathetic", "learn2beffcient" bs. Two can play that game. Hey ever gotten over your cry baby guilt trip on kicking some little kids to curb at TDs?
  21. Larupia gear doesn't work. The vodoo gear takes its place. To hunt jads just find spot where there is a bunch and set up a row. When you catch one they respawn in the same spot. As for which to hunt, I'd go after the ones that help you make the scentless pot. Then you can use that to cover for your low level. Also use the hunter summons if need be. Draconic Jads are the best xp ones.
  22. Yea, totally fun. Fun is subjective. I don't find PvP fun, for example. I know you're trying to defend yourself here but will you really find "Kill 4'000 Chompy Birds for the Expert Dragon Archer hat." fun? I won't know until I try. ;) In one sitting it won't be. A little here and there is good.
  23. They skill out of your trap most times. I have have 99 hunter and 2 camo pieces and I miss more than I catch. Draconic Jads are the way to go.
  24. <10% If you want a novel, max speed training place that hardly anybody knows about then read further. Prereq: Start Nomads Requiem, but don't complete the final fight with Nomad. Look for a room full of spectral attendents and a ladder. Spectral attendents are undead and have alot of life bar (1500ish). Use dharoks with your turmoil or your setup. Don't kill them, just simply hit them all once or twice and then go up the ladder and then back down. When you return the spectrals have moved back to their respawn positions and their lifebars are completely refilled. If however you kill them, then you have to wait a substantial amount of time for them to spawn. This is unique in runescape. You should be able to score around 150-200k xp per hour.
