  1. Camo doesn't work on the elfland creatures. You can use one of the hunter summons. They are about as hard as red chins. I usually take them down by the magic tree Grenwall are a bit harder. You have to milk one repawn location. They tend to roam abit and forget about your traps.
  2. I believe thats what they call "having fun". Its a radical concept, not worth looking into, keep skipping content.
  3. If you wear arma and eagle eye and you want to melee you use a clong, you don't use a whip or crapier. You can be very potent in that setup and such people give me problems all the time when I mage at soul wars. But most people are sheep so its crapier, bandos, and some translucent shield, which means easy pickins as they try to kill the stupid avatar or even try to man up to me. YES way.... Arcane shield advantages aren't great: +3 magic attack (not very meaningful if you wear proper mage gear) +20 crush defense (who cares if your maging somebody with a cmaul your gonna flip sol special anyway and thats about the only weapon people use with crush that is tier 1) +3 prayer (I doubt you would notice it unless that the only prayer bonus you have) 0 range penalty (you range with it? why its for maging? Much better shields for that) Arcane shields disadvantages are very significant: No damage soak (this is significant because it stops the big hit ko's, I can't ever remember being koed on hit more than 200, probably because they coded it up wrong and apply the damage soak before figuring out if your dead or not) worth 67mil more (huge waste of time making the money to buy or getting on a drop, 4mil/gp an hr is a myth)
  4. Only the chaotic kiteshield stinks. I have said since the day it was release that it needed a nice big strength bonus because dragonfire shield is better. Farseer shield is still better and easier to obtain than arcane shield. Eagle eye is still better and easier to obtain than spiritual shield. Divine and Eylsian are simply better RWT tools than shields. The best way now to cash out of RS and not loose your character if you ever want to come back is break your back over at corp and then sell it to for $$. Jagex wants to eliminate imbalanced trades yet they create so many with limited items and the GE's limitations.
  5. For under 1 million you can: upgrade your shield to either Dragon Square (303k) or TokTz-ket-xil (247k) or upgrade your head to torag helm (935k) or upgrade your body to torag plate (707k) or upgrade your legs to nothing really (guthan chainskirt is about the same as dlegs and it runs 804k) or upgade your ring to dragonstone (i) (54k plus some serious work at mobilizing armies) If I were you I would just get full guthans (4.8mil) and you'll be in business for a long time to come.
  6. Surprised they didn't fubar the bank. I'll have to try to rc with it. I don't use the macro keys like everybody else, so this ought to improve my xp rates and motivate me to use all the pouches.
  7. Looks nice, post it on RSOF of course. Thats where they take all their suggestions from. I doubt Jagex would take a serious look here. Too many knuckleheads and know-it-alls ranting about whats stupid and how the devs know nothing because they don't play their game.
  8. He doesn't have it yet, high score says 10k away. He'll probably go mental like the one thats close to RC and never finish it. RS drives people nuts you know. ;-)
  9. Most people only have 2 binds. So guess what, we all start out no armour. First few rooms are brutal, people horde the food, then finally some ore appears and life gets easier. My favorite part in this whole psuedo discussion/bs affair is where somebody says that fishing is good and making armour is bad. Lol... with armour you don't need to fish, food on kills is more than enough and you can stock up bob for a boss by the end. So if your a "pro", you fish/cut lumber/then cook for 5 minutes and complain about somebody taking 2 minutes to gear up.
  10. One you purchase in-game. One you buy with real money. Which one you choose depends on what type of player you want to be.
  11. They don't use because they aren't trying to kill anything. They just freeze and try not be frozen. I mean really is dclaws with arma supposed to be trying? And I haven't played for that long? Ha keep dreaming. The difference between you and me is that your a stacker and I'm the castlewar pker. You hold the flag outside your castle. I kill you and the next person who picks it up where you died and any other person on the screen who thinks they don't deserve to die. You stack one side so you can win over and over. I stack cades on the stair side door of my respawn room so the stacked team isn't mine for long, so I can have some fun targets to hunt. You drop cades as you run away with the flag because you can't tank. I come to your castle and tank half your team while hunting robes. Jagex makes some simple updates for my emergent gaming. You quit. Funny how that works.
  12. This line of argument frustrates me. If I went into a medium dungeon right now and tried to rely on food and prayer alone, I'd die within ten rooms. Goodness knows how much that tactic would fail with my defence level on a large floor, although I'll confess I've never been on one, I know it's twice as large as medium. At level 76 defence, my combat stats can hardly be considered 'low' in the context of everyone who plays RuneScape (ranked 520K out of several million accounts, in the top 30% at worst). Racheya touched on this in her article a couple of weeks ago, and she was shouted down for not knowing any better, but the inconvenient truth is not everyone has 99 defence/HP, nor should they to enjoy dungeoneering without being told they 'SUCK'. Some people have to make armour to survive in dung without dying. Suck it up, go form a clan where making armour is banned. Otherwise, don't expect some stranger you've never spoken to before from w117 to conform to your exacting standards. Most of them can't make armour, so they feel bad and make up excuses. 2 minutes (if even that) for melee gear is hardly a waste of time or a valid excuse. Don't worry 99 def without gear won't save you either so your not alone. You still get hit 90% of the time. Be wary of the "pro" teams or the nonsense written in this thread. Clown crews always need 1 guinea pig to run in the rooms first. Guess who that will be.
  13. You have to pick up 99 of them to restore your prayer. Thats almost a joke.
  14. Surgebox and herblore scroll are worth getting. Everything else is just pathetic. Do they even try anymore? No choatic armour, so we all still use the barrows armour that came out a little after I started playing this game.
  15. Did you forget this is Jagex? It will take them a week to figure out that they didn't update the knowledge base and about 6 months to get the correct entries.
  16. #1 step would be make max cash and then some because alot of the methods you listed their burn gp like its maples. #2 step get 99 in all skills and see if you still want to pursue this madness (perhaps sanity will win if you give it a chance)
  17. I'm going to laugh at you if floors 48+ are tough enough to cream no-gears like they should be.
  18. Herblore Habit sounds interesting. The desert quest is probably decent. I hope this is the end for wowineering, they have already successfully fractioned the community into the elistists and the noobs just like WOW... what more could you want. Calling FUBAR on banking for a year after this remake like last time.
  19. So he is going to be the live action face of runescape now and not Mod Mark & friends?
  20. No, its 42 pages of somebody having a guilt trip and then needing other elistists to make him feel better. Throw in some dog-eat-dog jargon or a good chapter from one of machiavelli's numerous dribbles and thats what this is. I mean really who are you going to convince with that chart other than yourself that crashing is good for the game and your great player for doing it? Just make sure to throw some insults when you crash so they get out sooner and never come back.
  21. Science tends to be exact in terminology. Pedantics is part of the game. Nonetheless, lets just skip to the crux. I offer a theory and experimental observations. Impressionist gives us loads of equations that seem overly complex but don't necessarily contradict mine. So what does xtroll give us? A load of bs based on the testimonial of "top slayers". Who are those "top slayers"? Well him of course silly. Maybe he asked one of his friends too, lets hope. Afterall, the advice of two know-it-alls has to be better than one.
  22. You don't say? Glad you figured out what around means. Now here is a question for you which is more approximate "around 3300 seconds" or "around 55 minutes"? I'll give you a hint, if your the poster boy for telling other people what to do make sure to use around 3300 seconds when you make up BS to support your argument. Why? Because it sounds more exact.
  23. Just go back one page and it will fix that misconception. Sounds like this is part of their new corporate strategy to combat grinding that they alluded to awhile ago. Get people involved in their community events plus those that emerged from players over the years. Doesn't appeal so much to me, but I'm glad its there because it makes the game a nicer place.
  24. God knows I am right and so would you if you tried it. But, don't try it, instead argue with me about something you know little of. Everybody else is.
