  1. Shield would be nice for PVP minigames. I intend to get one for soul wars where I mage harass the clowns that think they own at the game because they all pile in one side to get easy zeal. The staff is so so. I guess if you wanted to use it on slayer it would be okay, but sol is decent enough and you can save some major runes with battle robes.
  2. Green, blue, or bronze dragons will break even. Abyssals will loose money. Don't waste your time getting dungeoneering for the sole purpose of maging frost dragons. Frost dragons have decent magic def so you'll go through extended periods of not hitting.
  3. Actually, by clown definition (stated throughout this thread and forums) you have to big monster hunt and make 4mil/gp an hour to do anything efficiently. Examples of things that can't be done without 4mil gp/hr: slayer with choatic rapier, overloads, cannon, construction with mahogony planks and no sc hammers, and herblore leveling making unsellable extreme pots. Unfortunately, I'm not into big monster hunting, therefore I am "Golvellius the Effective" and not "Golvellius the Efficient".
  4. I wasn't going to post again on this thread again with page after page filled with utter nonsense after I post like this: I am critical thinker with a closed mind. I only troll when I disagree with something. Thats not often I promise. I can't see what you put in front of my face 10 times. Try harder. Efficiency can be defined with Pythagorean's Theorem. "Make 4mil gp/hr"^2 + "Spend 10mil gp/hr"^2 = "fun"^2 But then you called my name, and I am here. Where are you? Hopelessly lost... I said I was not RS efficient. I only use the standard english definition of efficiency and not the clown based short form. But, in an effort to be more "clown friendly", I will only use effective to describe myself. Henceforth, I shall now be known as "Golvellius the Effective". 8-)
  5. Exactly. This quote destroys any opposing argument. Jagex only puts these as quest requirements because they want people to do the long grinding, as that allows for longer subscription times and more money. And no, this isn't a conspiracy theory, Jagex is a business and they need to make money. Every MMO developer does this. It's just that Runescape has more grinding than any other western MMO. In an ideal world quests wouldn't have ANY requirements. If theres a boss you deal with it with your own strategies/combat stats, if there are puzzles you deal with it with your intellect, etc. Only the specific rewards that deal with certain skills should have specific requirements. Your argument will simply change from quest reqs to item reqs if you do that. This is runescape. Getting levels is the name of the game.
  6. Fixing it means deleting them or redropping them. I doubt they will ever delete them. So a redrop is more likely when RWT becomes so blatant that jagex can't pretend to look the other way.
  7. It's all wrong. It should be spelled amyl nitrite. Only inject yourself with it after cyanide poisoning.
  8. You might try reading the whole quote. Novel idea, I know, but I won't always be here to help you read. Anyhow, so back to our 24-7 player quote with the part you can't see/comprehend/imagine. Is there some reason why she can't range her slayer targets when she gets stuck at 200mil in attack, strength, and defense? Oh wait, I know, it's not the right way to play. Slayer is rapiers, bandos armour, overloads, turmoil, steel trash can specials, and cannonballs. Slayer is not full of variety, fun/profitable, nor a hobby. Slayer is done one way, maximum xp/maximum expense, and its a lifestyle. No need to spit shine your efficiency badge your already in top troll form. But, you might want to invest in a blind-fold, because not everybody is going to play your game, and the sight of other people doing it their way and possiblely having higher levels/xp is going to shatter your glass ego.
  9. Get ready for more meh. I'll guarantee these. 1 week is the last void knight quest (geared for level 80). 1 week is the halloween event That leaves 2 weeks of whatever.
  10. Ask and you shall recieve. From one of favorite 24-7 players in reference to like the #4 player in slayer with a measly 100mil xp. I know not quite noob, but plain stupid has to count for something.
  11. First she would have to overview her methods and start being sensible about it, rather than going around yelling at other slayers not to use a cannon because she doesn't like it and it "disrupts other people". Otherwise anyone could start a brand new account right now and still beat her to 200m, if she kept doing what she has been doing so far. Before you say; no there isn't anything "impressive" about getting 200m slayer without cannoning either, it's just plain stupidity to waste hundreds of millions experience by having to go past 200m in HP/melees, while getting no ranged xp. Or worse case, start exclusively ranging it in the end and be even slower. How do you "waste" xp? I know how to waste gp. Use a cannon. I know how to waste time. Monkey with crap on the grand exchange to make money to buy the cannonballs. Waste xp? Thats a new one. Round and round we go. You just said that any idiot can accomplish anything. Even our beloved 200mil xp nutters can by "lucky idiots". Thus, nobody is good but you and everbody else is an idiot. Gotcha.
  12. Seems hard to claim someone is best dungeoneer when they aren't even eligable for all the content. Dungeoneering is more complex than fishing, but that doesn't necessarily make it harder. Agility and RC are harder skills even though they simple, because of the monotony and need for near constant attention in combination with slow xp rates. Actually, what makes you good at it is that your ego makes your think your good at at. There is no right way to do anything in RS, having lots of xp, levels, and ranks is proof enough that your "good" at RS.
  13. Only 77 players with 1 billion xp that you could find? I bet their is more than that.
  14. What is this, Mod Joe's first project at Jagex? How about fix dharock's axe so its rested up on the shoulder again. GO JOE!
  15. Don't worry its not worth it other than to play the game if you like. You'll spend far more time in BA than you will using your horn. I would only use the horn on firemaking to save $$.
  16. K so Jagex should drop 1bil in some random person's invent and ban them for bug abuse according to your logic. Your analogy is spot on, I can see that spamming the minimap to score double xp is very random...
  17. You would rather debate over choosing fun versus rank on a high scores table? This thread goes on because some people will never learn the difference between effective and efficienct, because it would put a butthurt on their egos.
  18. 3 days?? Should be 3 months.... thanks for caring about $$$ over legitimate players. They better hurry up and turn every door into a guardian door.
  19. I'd rather you hoard the stupid hat than something useful. I doubt the would redrop them unless RTing gets to the point that its so blatant that everybody can see what rares are used for.
  20. Anything but Dclaws. I'd take DFS over stopping at the herb level for super antifirepotions.
  21. Watch Youtube videos to get the prayers down right. Go range over melee it's easier and requires less luck. If you have trouble get an eagle eye shield that will stop those 1 hit your dead deals.
  22. Why did Jagex decide to do runefest? Moreso what prompted Jagex's change in policy from a company that rarely interacted with its players (2006 and earlier) to one that wants to be seen as community driven? Finally, where does Jagex want to take the community next?
  23. Gets old so I never bother with it, same with prayer flashing. In other games like WOW, I just prefer hit and run guerrilla tactics in PVP to kiting.
