  1. They should have upgraded w117 it lags like a mother trucker.
  2. If Jagex appreciates rares then why don't they make new ones every year? (Dont read the next line, just close your eyes and believe in the pure goodness of rares) Because your wrong. Now lets all be touched by the fact that Jagex won't delete them for the sake of a few legitimate owners. God save the rares so the chinese can buy water!
  3. I wouldn't exactly call Merchanting a accomplishment, but that's merely my opinion. I'll admit I want some capes just because it looks good with an outfit, but there's also ones where I do it because I like the idea of the skill. I'd love to get 99 RC because the cape is damn hot, the profit is great and I dont mind RC'ing. The problem though is I neither have the time or patience to accomplish it without it spanding over 5 years. if its not an accomplishment i would like to see YOU merchent several billion + get into the rares market by building street value. Yeah I suppose any chump can do that, just like cooking  Yeah its a real accomplishment when you get out daddy's credit card and buy some rares off the chinese.
  4. If your going to argue about what capes are usefull then don't recommend soul wars cape. Thats useless. Jagex just couldn't stop making capes for some reason.
  5. *sigh* People are constantly talking about all skills going to 120. It's not going to happen. It's just bad game design. There's no reason for them to go that high, it unbalances nearly all the current content, and it's an unhealthy paradigm for the game to support (i.e. it makes the game less fun). It just [bleep]s everything up for no reason. So no. It's not realistic. Tell you what, I'll make you a bet. I'll bet you any amount of GP that someone will achieve 200M in all skills before Jagex raises the skill cap in all skills to 120. 10:1 odds in your favor. Name your price. By then end of 2011 there will be at least 1000 players with 1 stat at lvl 120. 2 years 2,000 , 3 years 4,000, 4 years 8,000 and so on. I predict in 5 years they implement lvl 120 accross the board. Dungeoneering going to lvl 120 was just a the first step, what do you think the level cap on the next new skill will be. 120 I bet. Look at WOW. They add levels right on top of the ones they have. Of course, huge parts of their game became dead, but they don't have the unique skill system that rs does which helps recycle older content.
  6. Hmm... a little fiction here from the typical 15yr old wow fanboy. You seem to think nobody here has played WOW. I'll admit I liked the core of Wow. That kind of arcade, fast paced combat. Unfortunately, WOW has computer controls which is limiting. (Imagine playing street fighter II or samurai swords on a keyboard). I never found any support for a gamepad or so that really takes away from what WOW is about. (WOW = coordinated but reptitive button mashing) Also, most unfortunately, is the fact that WOWs content just blows outside of battlegrounds. Skills are lame and won't make you money which is actually quite irrelavent anyway because because decent gear comes only from nontradable raid drops. Quests are the redimentary kind you find all the way back to NES/Sega master system type games. Puzzles just don't exist. Strategy is simply following cookie cutter setups and alot of the classes are so imbalanced that they are all just plain broke so why bother with them. (see PVM on a rogue or PVP on a shaman) PVM gets stupid real fast with the 2 tier enemy system. Elite enemies (even elite "hobo gnome tramps") just kick your ass 3 ways from sunday unless your a paladin. Throw in tons of explosions a bazillion enemies and your raid experience is simply mashing out rotations while trying to figure out if your still there or dead. Endgame in WOW is raiding.... and that just SUCKS which no WOW fanboy could ever admit.
  7. Free 764,000 xp. I'm on it. I can see raging over that enchanted bolt effect increase from the pure/pker community. But, seriously, screw them... about time Jagex caters to us, the high level skiller.
  8. I'm done... can't stand it anymore. 2mil RC xp = tough enough
  9. So who is going to be the first to 120 in all skills? That seems more of a realistic goal and possiblely more supported from Jagex. (if they raise the level caps to match dungeoneering)
  10. Still stuff to do in runescape. Other games I've played: Dofus, cute tactical simulation, no solo player support, bugged, french (enough said) WOW, fun combat, horrible class system if your not a paladin you suck, raiding is the only supported gameplay aka no raid no gear no pvp (needless to say I was a rogue, I hated raiding, and no matter how flawless my rotation is no gear = lame pvp) D&D online, not bad, classes way more balanced than wow, hardly any pvp, tough on newbies
  11. I'd love to try to go pure mage at 120. Celestral staff, top, bottom, silk hood with maxed blitzer would be pure dps heaven. (500s at dagger speed  )
  12. Didn't they update romeo and juliet already? So now we replace it with drunken dwarf shotgun wedding and call this an update?
  13. Lame way to start off a lame month. Champions challenge of thieving (Thanks but no thanks. 300k+ xp picking knights and never sniffed a court case) Alchless bound items (Amazing update for the rejects who cry OMFG I alched my prom spearz!) Streamlining shantay pass (What is this the 3rd time now they have fixed up shantay's, whats next an EZ RIDE toll booth that deducts from your bank.)
  14. Its easy to say I'm going to get 99 in everything. I think everybody does that. Hell, even I did like 5 years ago lol... If it wasn't for your precious rc skill I might finally get there... #-o
  15. The game is okay. The concept is stupid. I just don't understand why they keep creating separate lesser games inside runescape. First mobilizing armies, which is just deplorable. Now this. It isn't a minigame or activity by any stretch. The game mechanics are totally different and you don't even see your avatar because it doesn't even involve them. Whats next? An arcade machine in fally square where you can go to play Runescape Themed Pac-Man? They should have made it a stand-alone on fun-orb. My 2 cents.
  16. Here you can have my old "first player to ever hit 100" pic. (shameless plug but if 3hitu can post then I can 2) It was before there were ever 100s in hitsplats. I recieved so many pms saying I photoshopped the 1 on.
  17. Last time I checked 10 oak planks per dungeon door (600xp) was alot faster than 4 teak planks per bench (360xp). The fastest way is 6 mahogony planks to make a dinner table (720xp). Its way better than your calculations. You get 50k xp a sc hammer if your level is in the 90s. Using a SC hammer gives you double xp. That means its half price construction and half the time spent hammering away in obscurity at your home. The other half of your time is spent at Stealing Creation. Unless you suck at/hate Stealing Creation or have a fetish for making gp all day then SC hammers are the way to go.
  18. Telomarques the avatar wins, the person behind the scenese loses, 4 months of their life to be speciific. (That is if their really is only one person at the helm.)
  19. I like to read these "pro" threads for the lulz. :D But, I'll leave you with something instead of just laughing at you and the other "pros". Waterfiend Camping Gear Head: Guthix Halo Neck: Fury Body: Karil Body Legs: Karil Skirt Feet: Dragon Boots Ring: Dragonstone (i) {don't have onyx for the meager +1} Weapon: CLS (CR not recommended) Off-Hand: Rune Defender Cape: Ardouge Cloak Use 160 Stab with turmoil and stats potted above 115 takes care of waterfiends like you were using a crush weapon, but you aren't. 100+ crims an hour, familiar not necessary like usual. ;)
  20. Confuse us? You must be grouping yourself with the majority of <50 iq rsof community... While the rest of us with high learning capabilities accept the change and enjoy its usefullness. Assbackwards thinking. Anybody with >50iq has already learned to identify what style monsters attack with. Anybody not afking has enough situational awareness to know what is attacking them and with what styles. The "zeros are horrible and lets get them out of the game" line from mod insipid all but proves this update is nothing more than a pathetic attempt to grab wow-like game players at the expense of runescape's defining style and traditions. Its a horriblely flawed strategy since game players that seek simplicity, everything handed to them on a platter, and state-of-the-art graphics would never be drawn to runescape even if you dress it up with a little pink hitsplat skirt.
  21. To quote MMG, "Insipid". Dumbest update since constitution guaranteed.     Jagex motto, "One must always temper success by changing everything to appeal to those that don't even play your game over those that do." Now all we need is flashing strobe lights, tons of explosions, and more numbers flashing on the screen than at the New York Stock Exchange and the wowification can be complete.
  22. I do all that crap. Somebody on the team has to. You don't need 5 people with no food running room to room trying not to kill stuff. Somebody has to make armour. Somebody has to come up with food. Somebody has to make pots for the boss. The only people that annoy me are the elitests and leecher noobs (hi I need to afk brb...then right before boss... I'm back what I miss?).
  23. 4 was the most I've done. It was emerald, saphire, saphire, ruby on coal. I was wanting coal for a quest at the time, so I was more annoyed than anything.
