  1. Dragonfire shields give +7 Strength. A Divine is one of the most useful items you can have for soloing bosses or PvP, the 30% damage reduction shouldn't be underestimated, not to mention that it also lets you work out what your opponent hits on you before they hit by looking at your Prayer, so you can stay much lower HP. Summoning is one of the most useful skills in the game, it's incredibly useful in both combat and non-combat situations. Ignoring it's benefits is nothing short of idiotic, and there is no reason not to train it. I don't do "bosses" and there is only one place where I PVP that you can even use divine. And in that place profound armour set + turmoil/soul split = divine + junk slaughter time. As I said semi-useless for you totally useless for me. P.S. Try WOW and then tell me summoning in RS is good.
  2. Not enough real players on the two worlds to make 192 kills in 20 minutes even remotely sound legit. Suprisingly dead. Defintely going to chalk this one up to "killing my friends in front of their respawn room in the wee hours"
  3. Crapi is the safest bet. Clong is probably too slow to be of much use. Afterall, whip>godsword except for specs.
  4. Been saying that since god wars and coinshare. Where were you? Now its a bit better thanks to 26king and a good price increase in raw materials.
  5. I pick them all up because charms are hard to come by. I will be kicking and crawling my way up these last few levels.
  6. Been awhile since they had one of there. I like the caster, the others don't float my boat.
  7. You never cease to make me laugh. Say something about summoning next. It sucks ass. You satisfied?
  8. If you be meleeing then dragonfire and +8 str is better than 0 str another 20 def on choatic and pittly amount of damage reduction. I won't talk to divine. Its gaudy and semi-useless in my opinion. If you want high priced junk get spiritual or arcane. They serve more of a purpose.
  9. you're forgetting prayer potions, super restore potions and super prayer potions, both directly through soul split, and indirectly through protection prayers I'm really glad they fixed this bug or game mechanic, whatever you call it. It's now more about strategy, not clicking a million times a minute when you pvp and pvm. This update lends itself to using the combat triangle, to adapting your gear to the fight, to hybriding, to compromising and not just relying on food to save you whenver your strategy fails. I've been a shark brewer, i've been a "pure-fooder" when i haven't bothered to click a ton, just wanting to relax. I don't think I've disagreed more with anything else in my life. How is expecting a potion to act similarly to every other potion in the game "bug abuse?" And to your first point, 16*4 aka 64 is how much each brew heals per inventory spot which is greater than any thing else in the game barring stackables. Okay you drink 64 doses of sara-brew and tell me how nice it attacking something with your 1 attack, 1 strength, 1 magic, and1 range. But, I know what you are going to say. Why of course I will bring 16 super restores as well. So in the beginning when the stupid pot came out you would have drank a sara brew, lost fast combat round (rapid knife speed), drank super restore, lost fast combat round, drank super attack, lost fast combat round, drank super strength, lost fast combat round, drank super def, lost fast combat round, and your ready to melee again. No idea when this bug appeared, probably during one of the many stupid runetek updates for the sake of graphics.... But, hey its fixed now so lets all cry about it... not. I stand corrected. Btw, it's been around for 5 years and there is a very good chance that it will be changed back. I guarantee you that bug hasn't been around 5 years. I started about 5 years ago and there weren't even sara brews at the time. P.S. Congratulations bug lovers, your bug as been officially recognized as a genuine, Jagex game mechanic. Grats on discovering the secret code combination of food brew attack overload food brew attack overload before me. BTW, here is a good old cheaters code I remember, up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right A, B, A, B, select, start. Super Contra anybody?
  10. There's this thing called a super restore potion... I highlighted that for you. :P Its for fun, but knowing you stand no chance kinda kills part of the fun. You can't take potions into CW anymore? Since when? I have no idea if you can or cant, but the keyword I was trying to get bolded was *if you can't*. What is the point in spending 1 ticket per game for a castle wars set if you can take potions into castle wars. Thats what confuses me. You can take pots in. No food or non-combat stuff.

  12. This sara brewing bug abuse is a debacle. For the longest time I couldn't figure out why people bought sara brews like they were useful or something. I mean it only heals like 14 a dose, craps on all stats not called def, and is generally a pain in the rear unless you need to boost your hp beyond max. Now I find out all the "low lifes" and "no defs" found a nice back door bug to chug up brews without it counting like a normal round of food/potion. Figures... So like if 10k players abuse a bug, is it still a bug, or do you call it a game mechanic... lolol P.S. If they change this back like KING PAUL OF THE KNUCKLEDRAGGERS is going on about on RSOF, then I am going to be POed.
  13. Thats not even best... Take verac brassard over platebody and use arcane shield/farseer over the guady semi-useless ones. Inventory half extreme prayer pots, half aids, and hope the noobs pile on. I have seen this all before. And frankly, I am hunter and those are my pray. The person who wins this won't have faced me unless they cower infront of the respawn room hugging aids. I don't care if I win/die/whatever, but ruining the day of some so-called hotshot pkers who come swarming into cw for some FREE MEMBERS is just hot.
  14. I've reported a couple of 100+ people botting over at the living caverns. They have no shame and their broken bots run around in circles so the whole world can see what cheaters they are. PMod right click reporting ftw.
  15. Nice to see Jagex returning from the wilderness. Maybe RS isn't dieing afterall.
  16. I wish we could specify our characters by handed-ness. Also, I 'd like to hold my shortbows in a manner such as the ranger in the dungeoneering wallpaper. (shaft perpendicular to ground)
  17. As more and more activities get highscores, I wonder if ranks in them will get recognition like stats. Anybody know a site that tracks activity ranks as well as stats?
  18. I thought the ranks are only counted since the update? I got the second set of armor in the bank, yet it says im unranked. They game one game played per ticket to recognize the old time players. Sadly they screwed this up because they failed to count all the tickets that people stored as armour stands in their home. Thus I have 4600+ tickets yet only 1070ish games. Its significant to me because it would put me in striking distance of the pro-cape.
  19. Insulting rediculousness? The only thing insulting would be if they nerfed the tickets for stuff because of your crying. It would be a travesty if they did what they did to the trouble brewing rewards to these because some noobs dont have the free time. The stuff is all for decoration and achievement and has little impact outside of castle wars. If you can't get it don't cry about it and ruin it for those of us that played something they thought was fun for years. Also, stop blabbing about your opportunity cost crap because I certainly wouldn't have been playing this game to make 800mil instead of castlewars. I would have been playing a different game altogether...
  20. If you kept your gold as an armour item in your skill hall then you lost 1800 games played. The old armour made you look like a gold painted noob. The new looks a little nicer like dungeoneering stuff and is the equivalent of rune so it may get some play outside of cw. The game pretty much plays the same. They just made catapults relavent and made it harder to hold the flag. The only thing usless in the update was the consumables. Why anybody would waste their precious tickets on ballistas and pots is beyond me.
  21. Awesome update. Just they botched my rank because they didn't count the gold stands in my poh. Really sucks have 4.6k tickets and only 1060 rank. They better fix it so I can get that pro cape within the next 3 years....
  22. Once they add that con hot spot then it will officially make agility the most useless skill in dungeoneering. Thanks for that Jagex... Sounds like they won't even have half of that in before 2011. These diaries are usually the kiss of death for upcoming content. (See fairy tale pt 3 diary from Jul09 finally realized)
  23. Goes well with Slayer Cape. Its very useful in CW if you overload, turmoil/soulsplit to take full advantage of the big damage boost (25%). I crank 600 with a whip and 480 with broad bolts. Dragon Dagger spec's individual hits max around 530 which means 1 hit kos. Haven't tried mage. You wont get within -13 magic attack which means splash city on everything not noobkind.
  24. It has no reqs according to wiki so pures might use it. Arcane stream and that would be about 500 for ice barrage. I believe thats what you call a ko weapon. It would definitely be worth it if you could cast miasmic but I see no mention of that.
