  1. Top 10 things you need to be good at combat. 1. Strength 2. Defense 3. Range 4. Attack 5. Magic 6. Constitution 7. Prayer 8. Dungeoneering 9. Herblore 10. GP - buy all the best stuff and supplies Top 3 things that are absolutely worthless for combat 1. Summoning 2. Firemaking 3. Farming
  2. Magic 110 care of arcane stream. PS: Ignore the little six after the 110 its there because of one the stupidest updates ever.
  3. Can the chaotic staff cast miasmic barrage? If so then its not a total loss like this xbow.
  4. 90+ armour wearing forgotten warriors should always be maged. You'll spend like 3+ minutes trying to out melee them nomatter what you have. You can cast air surge in plate body /legs or leather gear and hit them almost every time. I mage alot in dungeons yet I never wear mage robes.
  5. Full Dragon over Bandos. Bandos looks [developmentally delayed]ed, costs something stupid, and nothing goes better with my agility cape than full d. +6 strength is irrelevant unless your low hp darrocking.
  6. I'd love to see Patrick Stewart do a voice. He was great in Oblivion as usual. For an actress, I'd pick Sofia Myles. She speaks great american english. Sometimes, I forget she is british. Also, I think she is hot. <3: Also, who the hell is Vinnie Jones? Simon Templeton (Kain from Legacy of Kain Series) would be so much better as Zamorack. I hope they can do better than some no-names who are only popular in Whales.
  7. Well, good job Jagex on patching up the little stuff that prevents players from treating Daemonheim like a one-stop free XP training spot for every skill out there. I noticed a few things about the way you post. One, you like to leave one sentence per line. Two, you don't make any sense. 'Worthless' skill? I'm sure you can provide a good explanation of how summoning skill is worthless to us. OT: I think it's a little sad that Jagex tries to improve the thieving NPCs here and there, but majority of the players are still going to train most of their thieving levels in Pyramid plunder or blackjacking. #-o Oh how nice a thoughtful critque on my lack of run on sentences or lack of attention to maintaining formalism through paragraphs and word walls on web browsers. Don't worry though because of your post I am going to change for the better and forgo all manner of punctuation and sometimes leave the subject out make many long sentences run together you understand me better because I care about what you have to say and I know you are an english teacher and you care that the little kids read proper english like this am I easier to understand because I worry that you dont know what I am saying because it is important to me the end. P.S. I LOVE SUMMONING. IT IS A GREAT SKILL I WILL NOT OFFEND YOU. JAGEX IS ALWAYS RIGHT. DID I MISS ANYTHING YOU THINK BECAUSE I WANT TO THINK LIKE YOU. the end.
  8. Well I guess they noticed that I was getting a free 1-3k summoning xp every dungeon on charms. Dam this patch fix. I could care less about using them, I just wanted the free freaking levels for the worthless skill. Almost 200k free and then I'm cut off. Dam you Jagex!
  9. It will never happen. They keep adding skills and I don't believe anyone is that insane.
  10. Just make it for like farming. That really needs some help and its not like you can abuse it since you can only plant trees like once a day.
  11. Short bow on rapid fires twice in the time one crossbow/spears goes off. Its the only way to use range in the dungeon. Long bow would only be good if your in full melee armour, but why you would want to range like that is....
  12. Jagex's version of Blizzcon. I hate cosplay and this reaks of it. I'd rather just play the game. :P
  13. It is both idiotic and punitive. It would be one thing to have a room I can't get into. It's quite another to have 2/3 of the floor blocked off because the room I can't get into has two keys in it that I need for the rest of the floor. That just happened to me, and I'm sorry, but it's just poor design. Sorry, I must have missed that. Where did Jagex say this skill was meant only for parties? Well, he's not going to. I've already invested quite a bit of time in discussing this today, and I'm sure not wasting a whole lot more of it slogging through that pomous, pedantic wall of gibberish. I do appreciate it, though, when someone make me look concise by comparison. ;) 96 pages later and your still crying like its day one. You need to pick and choose your spot. Like when I see a thread on the greatness of farming, I usually post something "entertaining" on like page 2 or something. ;) Honestly though, you should love the skill. It gave purpose to utterly useless, fluff-filled skills like summoning. Heck the summons can even fight a little. That Sachem Bloodrager can certainly outfight a steel trashcan any day.
  14. I don't think there is one. At least I didn't find it on the list weapons on the KB. If there then any of the bosses can drop it. I like my primal rapier. If I can get a a golden precision bracelet then I would be all set to 100. Isn't that kind of weird: you're only lv 50, and upto 120 you won't get anything really "new".. Well you bind more which means you can pick up more primal stuff or those other odd goodies. The skill is alot like slayer. Does your slayer level help you beat slayer monsters or any old monster faster? No. Your slayer level simply restricts your selection of monsters that you can fight. Slayer also presents a unique skill where items were introduced much like dungeoneering. Unlike dungeoneering, slayer items are tradeable though. This is the unique difference and probably the source of much crying and pouting from people around here. Personally, I think its great, by not allowing the weapons to be hoarded up by nonplayers who collect gp like it means something (hint: RWT).
  15. I don't think there is one. At least I didn't find it on the list weapons on the KB. If there then any of the bosses can drop it. I like my primal rapier. If I can get a a golden precision bracelet then I would be all set to 100.
  16. I love dungeoneering. I think most people like it. So I would strike that "most people dislike it" nonsense.
  17. Depending on how you play, you get more or less exp in other skills. I too have not reset since the release, and to level 38 dungeoneering i have made 500k exp of which 30k is dungeoneering exp. The reason everything is about money is because it is a value of time, and time is limited. If you had an eternity, money would have no value. Money is money and time is time. The two are nothing alike. Try playing the game insteading of collecting worthless little gold coins. You never know you might enjoy it.
  18. An intelligent voice of dissent is a lot more worthy than yet another dogpiling twit. If you disagree with her, then reply to what she says in a rational way, rather than just spewing insults. Whats the matter know-it-all, found a skill you don't like? Just remember anybody that disagrees with you is a fool and people that agree with you are voices in the wilderness. Oh and go back to preaching the beauty of half [wagon] summoning instead of stinking up this place along with mehateeverything.
  19. Somebody strike my comments before. This skill is good. Real good. Best update since construction. It might take me a month to hit level 30 but its fun at complexity 6 while soloing. Its more D&D + runescape puzzle/skill mania than wow raiding . It just needs some agility stuff and it would be perfect. Anybody moaning about there being no rewards outside of the dungeon can't read. There is a whole fricken page of over-powered rewards in KB. The best shields in the game, the best weapons in the game, something to get you seeds back, something to automatically bury bones, best mage prayer and so on and on and on. Stop crying about the costs... reminds me of when I got most of the stuff from the mage training arena and then you crybabies screamed so loud that they cut all the prices in half and I busted my [wagon] for nothing. This is like the second coming of slayer.
  20. This is by far the most fascinating aspect of the update. The possibility to continue all skills to 120 and get new skill capes of true mastery. I could again focus solely on combat and agility. <3:
  21. Initial Observations of our new skill WOW-oneering. One, stop complaining! You knuckle draggers cryed and whined about how their wasn't group play or group think or other stupid crap that is in other MMOs. So, here it is and ITS ON MY SKILL TABLE. :wall: Enjoy it, this week is your's. Next week, I hope for something better. Two, every skill is involved except one. Yes thats right, every skill including farming. I mean come on farming in a dungeon???? But, hey don't worry about training agility cause thats the skill that doesn't count. No ledges around pits to traverse, no obstacles to dodge. Hey its a dungeon, I mean your supposed to fish and farm in a dungeon, right? Three, chaos weapon reqs blow. I mean why the hell do I have to get 80 wow-neering to compete in PVP when they took my 95 herblore out. Seriously, remove them from PVP or put back overloads.
  22. I like things that you have to work towards. I think they just ought to make onyx untradeable. I mean you can get an assist on a craft so its not that bad. I am dreaming of a future where high end weapons and armour come off minigames and quests and are untradeable. I think 20-100 hrs is quite fair to collect high end items. What I don't like is tradeable crap bought out by merchant pigs who don't even play the game for months or years (see spirit shields).
  23. Surprised TIF isn't bronze, they were being too kind. Some of the fishing ads and trojann laden pop-ups at this site are deplorable. Oh and lets not forget about the time the forums was destroyed for like a month and or that time that everybodys login information was stolen. Lol that RSC/zybez is nowhere to be found. I bet its because they support all that 3rd party cheat/hackware crap. Go Sal, although you haven't played the game in like 4 years. Just send your money and don't say anything... the perfect Jagex customer. ;)
  24. Clans already abuse minigames to death. (One side always wins at castle wars or soul wars or stealing creation) What more do they want? I can tell you they deserve nothing more, but thats just my opinion and Jagex is all about the group-think.
