Why? You have a nice website, a front page with big bold print to advertise. Why revert back to 1 line ascii text messages like it's the internet in its infancy? Twitter makes no sense. Texting on a phone where you can actually send and recieve voice makes no sense. But if you prefer to regress like the rest of society be my guest. I couldn't care less about live one sentence updates of "hey we gonna update the homepage this week", "couldn't update stuck in the bathroom", etc...

If this garbage doesn't appeal to Runescape's dregs then nothing will and its time for Jagex to cut them loose and not bring them back like last time 2 months of patch note updates so this sad sack one could be born...

I don't understand why people admire Zaros. He was a weak or stupid god, because he was overthrown by his own follower. Zamorak was greater than Zaros and I am sure that Zamorak would strike down Zaros again without hesitation if he appeared again in the world. I think the Zaros storyline is dead other than to add a touch of depth and history to runescape.

It used to be hard. Try getting 85 before masks, barrow gloves, defenders, and when whips cost too much to buy and you sought out getting one on your own. It meant something back then, when the whip was the ultimate prize. Now its a boring drudgery thats like twice as fast and a fraction of the accomplishment that it used to be. Slayer is dead, just another nerfed skill with an ughly emote cape...

Fun course, xp needed nerfed bad since it was tarnishing one of only two capes that are grueling to master (runecrafting being the other). I mean come on you got the circus, ape atoll with the world 46 team, and the dorg powerstation to train effectively at. I can remember running alone for 3 months straight at the ape atoll course to get 99. My dream for agility since they won't just outright use it as a gatekeeper to rewarding areas would be to merge runecrafting and agility together on a course. Have an altar (like ourania or soul) in the middle of the course and a npc at the ends who could unote your ess and send your runes to the bank.

Actually, the question you want to ask is "Why has Tipit's community gone so far downhill as to become very unfriendly towards new or younger players?" My answer would be that all the rejects from the official forums that got banned or need fancy graphics to make themselves look better migrated over here. You won't find a thread in this place anymore without some idiot trolling around being a slayer nazi or writing fail or +1 after some post. Tipit 2 years ago and tipit now are unrecognizable, and to be honest I get more out of the official forums these days.

I can only remember one roll-back in my 4 years of playing. I think it was in the summer of 05. I think it was because the login servers crashed hard and the game was out for a few days. Runescape is run way more reliablely nowadays compared to the early days. The rule of thumb used to be to log in and out every hour or after you gained a level to make sure your progress was saved. People were just as upset with all the lost progess as people are about losing stuff to this.

They should be rolled back, yes. And, that .gif was making the rounds on IRC. Ugh, people who are reading this thread most likely already know "the code". (Response to someone saying those pictures should be removed.) I do believe BH/PVP should be rolled back. Normal gameplay, shouldn't. Accounts that did the bug not be permanently banned, or IP banned but just warned. People that did the bug in a safe area, including the Grand Exchange on a safe world should be just warned, also. Warned? For deliberately abusing a bug which basically lets you steal other people's stuff? You knowingly (else you wouldn't type in the code) abuse this bug for personal gain over the backs of other players. Can it be any more abusive? Ban them, hard, permanently, no appeal. What? Jagex would sooner wish to lose 100's of accounts that pay membership than to just do a rollback? Temporary ban, at most I say. :| Keep praying for yourself and your other sad sack bug abusing, RWTing friends, but they gave away tens of thousands of accounts with trade and wilderness removal. But, I'd like to be the first to say "good riddance" to you. :lol:

Well lets see since Jagex has a log of undisclosed length of all your inputs into the game its real simple for them to run a search on who entered the code. Lets see... 1 or 2 times, account dissable for 24 hrs while issue ressolved. <5 times, temp ban for a few weeks. 10+, perm ban on all linked accounts. Just an educated guess. :idea:

I could care less about the old rares tradeable or not. I have none, nor will I cry about. But the new rares (3rd, and spirit shields) are just obnoxious avenues for RWTing. Jagex has shown the propensity to continual make the same mistakes over and over again. I wish the new CEO was smart enough to figure this out at least.
