I wouldn't mind micro transactions. They should do limited time offers like at christmas, $5 santa hats or in spring, $5 phat spring clearance sale, or fall 5$ divine shield and torva sale. That would really knock the wind out of RWTers sails. They could offer xp bonus packs for 5$ that give you double xp for 10 hours of gameplay, etc. I think that would reduce the number of morons botting it up on their account or over at soulwars. I don't care about the purity of the game. All parts of the game involving gp have already been spoiled. I would just now like to see the people who spoiled it no longer profit and be forced to move on.

Definitely, the way to fix dungeoneering team making is to have this work. Hopefully, we can just go into the appropriate room on any world instead of standing around like idiots outside in a horribly laggy world. Seriously, Jagex should have perfected this first before dunegeoneering was released.

200mil xp skills are pointless and arbitrary and take just as long. Any day they could remove the cap and people will just keep going up and up. However, I think Jagex leaves the cap on for the mental health of some of its player's. ;-) You fight for the gods in the arena. Is that enough lore for you?

In it, Mod Mark revealed that non-rushers (aka the people that play the content not skip it) will be seeing a huge increase in xp for clearing rooms. So who is giving up their nutty goal of 200mil xp in all skills and going after something realistic like a nice completionist cape with trimming?

120 Dungeoneering isn't grinding? I think not. I think alot of people grind certain things for the fun of recieving the prize at the end. Personally, I think 2 versions of the completionist cape is stupid. There should be only one (the one that says I have done everything and I constantly have to do each update as it comes out to keep it). But jagex loves to give into the whiners on hlf who said "my 120 dungeoneering cape isn't special enough... you can't just have a do everything cape and an all 99 cape". So now you have the nerfed completionist cape.

This update was more awesome than I thought. I love my new max cape and veterens cape. I'm glad that you can color coordinate the capes. The fairy pink was horrid. So now, I plan to get the completionist one day in the future. Simply because it has 5k castle wars games involved. Thats legendary. (too bad Jagex couldnt count and I have 1.3k games played and 6k ticket. :rolleyes: )

Remember back in the day when you'd always wear pink infinity robes? :P Lavender with bits of red, green, purple, yellow, and blue. Maybe the cuffs were pink, big difference. :shame: I really like it? I voted against pink. I wasn't aware that you represented the moron element of HLF where they post ascii doodles of elephats and spam each other to death. Having the cape pink was obviously an inside joke that only they get. Perhaps, only they will wear it.

The completionist cape should represent achievements on runescape not symbolize gay pride. I'll have to thank the morons on hlf for ruining it. :thumbdown:

Probably in the low 500s or high 400s. I haven't used zaniks crossbow since the damage splat update. If the special records as a range hit then the pernix armour will soak more damage than armadyl.

Yes, its still here. Alot of the old stuff though is abandoned. Barrows isn't top notch money anymore so its mostly mid level players.

Aussy or something like that, dabestkillas (i think they found she was a boy in the end), laikrob, trojann, allanson, wolfmon, saidinwot, it is girl? So many more on my friends list that aren't online as well :/ Well, your name looks vaguely familiar and just about everybody on that list you mentioned I knew at one time or another. Alot of them grew up, graduated highschool, and probably left home. Laikrob is still here and active on tipit. Your name too seems familiar or someone had one very similiar. Ahh it's nice to see there's someone about. I kept in touch with a mere two people. Felt a bit sad yaknow. I had "07" at the end of my name and this year I was able to loose the numbers. :thumbsup: Anyhow, tipit was a close community back then and runescape was as much a social experience as a video game. Alas, times change, people grow up, and Jagex went corporate.

If your in Castle wars with profound armour then you know only two things work, rapier and CLS. CLS if your the man. Rapier if your the clown fishing to get owned.

To everybody that loses dungeoneering binds: Don't worry in 5-7 years they will change the whole mechanic again just like death so losing binds will be a thing of the past. Just remember Jagex is a very fast acting company that focuses on the vocal minority. :thumbup:

Just take them down. Leaving it up says that we need these clowns. We don't. It's an honor to have your guide featured on an internet fansite. Especially, one of the premier platinum ones. But, whatever if they think they are special, then let them go somewhere else and be special with guides which don't look so special.

My only beef with moderation was that they let the H&A forum deteriorate into a troll festival back a year or so ago. I tried to get from 900 to 1000 posts by offering stuff up that I learned on my way to nearly all 99s at the time. H&A was just a terrible. Of course, I'm no angel and I wasn't going to get bullied out of H&A or watch other people take it so I took it upon myself to setup shop opposing our recently departed "friends". Things just slowly spiraled out of control since. I had some sinful fun and cheap laughs while poking fun at the big headed ones. But, I think that time is past, so lets move on and enjoy some peace and quiet and focus on the real enemy, Jagex's Quality Control Team. :thumbup:

The elistests threw a tantrum and left. Whats more to talk about, most of their antics were hidden. God if you look back at one of the old efficiency versus fun you will find that I predicted this like half a year ago. I find it ironic that they were going to get their own little board, but that they couldn't even stop trolling long enough to get the prize. Actually, I'm more inclined to believe it was this. They won't be back until their new forums dies because their members treat each other like crap. As for the moderators, they should have just locked the efficiency troll thread at page 2. Some of us have been chomping at the bit to have another go at each other and that thread could have easily turned into a 50 page behemoth arguement filled with humor, sarcasm, trolling, flaming, and gnashing of teeth. The mods weren't ready to go there and chaos ensued.

^missed the whole point of the thread What was it then, because I'm at a loss? All I saw was an efficiency troll thread, the usual go around, alot of butthurt, a bunch of attacks on mods, some bans, and a few people packing it up so they can go preach to their chior.

How would a no rules board have prevented what transpired today? Do you think that by venting butthurt in some obscene way in a an open forum, there would be less efficiency trolling? I doubt it since it doesn't address the source of butthurt which was ego. Frankly, some people decided a long time ago that they knew best for everbody else and that they had a right to tell everybody what to do and attack people who thought differently. I can't take those people seriously, they are elistists or as I simply think of them, clowns... efficiency clowns.

I had an alternate character at one time I wanted to transfer some wealth from main to it. It was tempting to drop trade, but I decided not to. I would never cheat at the expense of another player like fally massacre or use bots.

The high level forum is okay, but don't think its your amazing ticket to a behind the scenes view of runescape. There are plenty of non-efficiency, non-no lifers as well, so you might be sad to find that the players there aren't all Zarfots.
