This update is okay and long overdue, except for that wishing well plant. I can't believe somebody actually thought that was a good idea. It seems like a brainfart to the question, "How do we entice flower/dicers to become members again?" Senior Jagex developer yells out, "Gambling Bush!"

Well at least its not livid farming. But, yeah there isn't much there. Not even sound effects for pouring or sucking the corruption. It should have been more like evil tree or something. I'm not seeing what the social aspect of it is or the story line. I didn't expect much but still manage to feel disappointed... good job?

I pulled out the obsidian armor from my bank. It's got a lot of DR on it now. I added it all up and its 45% w/o shield and 55% with. I hear that you can donote 15k and get even more DR. Is this any good at the kiln? I was trying to do it with virtus and an arcane shield but maybe this is better?

Shades. Nobody is ever there and you can rock 100k+ xp per hour with dharocks or you can afk with whip and fighter plate.. I did the blue ones to 99 strength in 2006.

The skill could really do with some other training methods. Agreed. But the problem with prayer is that all current methods are not level based, you don't unlock them they just exist. If you want to actually compete against them in terms of efficiency very easily, without just being better. Nothing training based is really unlocked except a few minor monsters and even those aren't really good enough to be "training". I would rather have more diverse things, but that is difficult when a lv1 player can use dragon bones, and go from lv1 to 40 in minutes at a gilded alter. Pest Control Soul Wars The rewards are based on your level. I went from 98 to 99 in the real 07 at pest control so don't bother telling me you can't train there. The rewards from this are going to be poor, so really this is just a new 5-60 minute experience that will pass by the way side for most runescapers.

Divination sounds like archaeology to me. Just replace the trowel with some kind of magic detector and replace artifacts with divine items (tomes of secrets etc..). It can be good or bad depending on how it's implemented.

(You can load up your magic defense to 86% vrs level 130 and goto the level 130 banshees in the smoke dungeon and still get hit half the time)

Ganos, frost dragons, abyssal demons (if you sell the ashes and use the tower), automatons and blue dragons are solid gp. The value is in the common drops so don't litter the floor.

It's somewhat ironic that the only world in which you can find players in the starting area is actually the total level 2400 world. (cooking at the fire by the chest in burthrope)

You never had to pick up the charms to begin with. Hard to blame the imp. If it offends you then just tell him to eat all the charms, I do. I wish I could stuff him with the ones in my bank too. Well, if you going to make a nice guide for somebody to start out on then you are going to have to offer a translation for all the common acronyms because nobody speaks english there anymore. Merchants are a waste of space and they cost you like 20% to use one. So unless you got some random event boosters to make up the difference then are you are better off with 5 oxheads for the very common 10k, 10k, 10k missions.

So your root cause of the problem is EOC or the completionist cape? I wouldn't be opposed to removing both as long as it gets rid of the afkers that don't belong there.

--Mark Rosewater Now wonder what happens when that very same requirement ruins the (mini)game. If you actually play castle wars it's fun. If you afk snooze it then it isn't. The problem is with the players not the game. Nobody said you had to have trim on your cape right now. It would be better to win 25% of your games and play hard than win 50% in a rigged snooze fest. Frankly, I would like to see the completionist cape removed all together. It provides more contempt than rewards.

The only good thing about runescape3 is that the game actually has better graphics than WOW. Who could have imagined that 6 years ago?

I bought it last fall. I got pretty far until my comp died. I haven't bothered to reinstall it. I think the difficulty is average for games circa 1990. You know when you actually had to practice to beat a video game.

My bad, I should have said goblins. You know since all areas of pvm count. Obviously, drygores cost the most, have the biggest stats, and you gotta show your manhood and use them everywhere. Forgot the cheap stuff like choatic weapons, royal crossbows, and godswords. This is runescape, competition is what you wear, not what you do in castle wars on w48.

Please explain this It costs money to use a drygore. Rather alot just looking at the GE. So what exactly are you going to be hitting with these, chickens? No. You will be hitting nex and kalphite King. I seriously doubt that. It's probably a weighted average. When I upgraded my mage book to virtus I noticed far less nothings on automatons with abilities.

There are only 2 things in the game worth using a drygore on. And you aren't going to hit either one with an EE. It's that simple.
