Then I bought a green mask, it dropped to 13m... I sold it and waited. Rebought it and dropped another 500k... I sell it, buy a santa... it falls and I stick with it. Very nice job on the drops. Try the sara god sword on an easier mellee-able boss and get lots of drops with ease? Might be a good idea, but it's up to you.

I'm not sure if it's summoning related, but it's been there since the varrock makeover. However, I didn't know he picked up ashes :) If it is summoning related, then I expect one of our pets to be able to pick up ashes and help us store them in bank after every load, making firemaking more profitable :anxious:

Anyways, I think that most of the cases you pointed out are true, but I do believe that this makes both f2p and p2p look worse. However, f2p really has gotten better after the release of the wildy capes and this new upcoming skill, summoning. Also, there are positive sides to the updates. Less to no scamming, less to no begging, and simplified trading. Also, f2p has had the addition of a duel arena. Overall, I think the two balance out and I think that there isn't much change.

I recently bought a green mask at 13.4 mill. It looks like the prices are about to stop dropping, but I'm not sure. Either way, they will most likely rise after the rush of summoning is over. I think that once the price of rares started dropping, everyone started to sell, afraid the prices won't rise again and that it was affected by the GE. I personally think this is the reason why there is so much supply. Also, I think for a period of time before the New Year, RWTers were doing a last ditch attempt of their rares to make those few extra dollars in real life. Also, I think stakers are selling their rares in order to train other skills with ease since there is no more money in what they used to do. In my opinion, these factors all pushed towards characters selling everything they had and therefore dropping the price of rares. Of course, I could be wrong and there are probably other reasons.

But Jagex Mods already said it's f2p -.- I think they can just set the quest right outside the gates in f2p area. It makes the most sense to me.

Jagex really hyped up this new skill in order to keep players from quitting. There's really no other reason to make this update such a big deal.

Well, how many people would buy rs characters? There's a certain tme where these people will stop and once you reach that point, you're pretty much done selling accounts. Accounts aren't like gp where they can simply flow around to buy other things. Accounts are permanently structured and there is no point in one rl person buying more than one rs account. So I highly doubt that this idea will flourish much.

I brought a guy to the varrock bear cage after he ran back to the start of the sewers twice. Then I provided him with freshly cooked lobsters :) It was rather fun, but after, I needed to go back to chopping down yews for my green mask (which I just bought today :thumbsup: Prices look like they'll soar any day now 8-) ) Anyways, it's always nice to help out a newb in need. It's the proper way of playing rs :

I liked it better when I was a noob because the rs world seemed so big and endless. I was ready to have a new adventure at every turn... Now i feel like I know all of rs inside and out and it's really boring in f2p

Yay, suggestions are much more welcome : I like it. By using this, everyone has a chance to get a higher trade limit and therefore everyone's happy and no more ranters out in the world of runescape

In my opinion, one of the main reasons they released it so early was to balance it out with the fact that they were going to stop any unfair trades. Basically this kept more people in game so jagex released it a little earlier. Summoning really hasn't been too much of a pain other than that period where I kept wondering whether summoning would be f2p (Jagex mods say it will). Wow, I would hate to have a friend like that. #-o

I really don't mind at all. All it has done is reduced the smart beggars who realized that it is not worth bothering me for 3k anymore. Other than gift giving and world 16 airs, I haven't run into any downsides. I don't really mind the gift giving because giving gifts is basically trading the same amount of gp between two people and I'm okay with not doing it. As for air running, many people have offered new ideas and I am sure Jagex will realize this. If they recognize the fact that world 16 and 99 are for running ess, I'm sure they won't stop it for some silly update.
