  1. Through the lootshare servers! That's why they created it... Sure there is no way that both you and your friend can split the profits anymore, but lootshare makes it a pretty even trade between the two of you.
  2. Yeah... There's so much editing to do on the site as well as other things. There have just been so many game-altering changes that everything will have to be reupdated.
  3. +1 :) Just either make your own nats, bs, or yews. It's not too hard :P But yes, it is a lot harder now without the autoers cutting your yews.
  4. If you know ways autoers are getting around, then tell Jagex to allow them to fix it. Otherwise, you're just being useless... There will still be people who are auto speaking because they have the rest of the month to sell rs gp...
  5. I disagree. The infinite items in stores does not create a significant drop in prices because they are still infinitely more expensive and would be such a bad idea to buy in large amounts unless you have millions of gp to waste. The Lootshare does not make good items easier to get. The drop rate for each person is still the same. It just make more monsters dead and saves you from taking as much damage. This is basically so that teams can still go kqing and dking. The Request Assistance didn't cause people to get expensive equipment easier... If you're talking about smithing, it's still the same and you still have to work to get the raw material. Plus you don't get xp. And anyways, you could still ask people to make things for you before the update so it really didn't do anything new... Just stopped scamming from "free gem cutting" and "tree trimming" etc. People can move on to other areas if they want to make more than 12k an hour. Maybe go train slayer and kill higher level monsters for their drops. Most of the stakers have either continued to enjoy the game. Plus, they added a tournament to make more money in... Staking is not dead. I absolutely hated merchanting so I like the GE update. Basically people will have 1 less way to make money. I say just move on with your life. Not all prices are plummeting. Look at raw material like the yews. They're rather expensive. Eventually, the prices will stabilize so give it time... There is more than pking in the game. People will either move on to new games or get used to the BH and other features Jagex implemented. Sure thousands have quit, but probably 3 times more autoers and gold farmers have quit. People who are dedicated to Runescape will continue to play with the BH. The F2P additions was just to balance out the upcoming trade thing. People will still be members, especially since the long awaited summoning is coming up... Jagex is still extremely successful and these updates have made if more successful. All good things come with their cons and this is no different for Jagex... The mighty will fall eventually, but Jagex still has a long time before they do fall.
  6. Yeah, those monsters aren't really worth bringing a tea to kill right now. Hopefully their drops will be better later on.
  7. You spelt "Entrance into Wilderness" wrong. You wrote enterence. Otherwise, looks nice. I loved that comic, lol :D Does anyone actually buy the weed though? Wow, that's a lot of steel war pics. Very nice :) If we were from the movie The Golden Compass (based off the book), there would have been a lot of dust shed :boohoo:
  8. Which most likely won't happen. Yeah I had trouble doing a clue last night....gah. Normal Pkers were easier to avoid. The thing about normal pkers is that they're human and understand when you're trying to do something and when you don't have anything worth for them to take... Like when you walk around in wildy with nothing on, most pkers would just leave you alone and not waste their own hp to obtain nothing valuable, but now, we have these random idiot creatures who try to eat you when you step into the wildy -.-
  9. This is he downside to runescape. People who can't read the text that states that this was just an example. Everyone just skips over the information and then tell other people half of the truth and therefore causing rumors
  10. I'm mining iron for noobs and I'm hating it -.- There's just so little time but so much iron... I don't think I can finish. Those poor little noobs will be cold without their armor! Hmm.. I usually donate money to the poor when they ask for realistic amounts of cash in order to buy something they've always wanted :D And I usually give away my trout and salmon to those pkers who stop by barbarian village to get some food (although there haven't been many since the recent update :-k ) I think I've done my share :)
  11. :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o Yeah, I'm a terrible writer #-o But now you can be famous because people will even believe... Lol :) That was also terrible writing by me... which actually is a good thing :-#
  12. Lol, ROFL. Thats pretty funny, lol. But I think That they do have people on all the forums. To see what players "Really" think of the updates. They definitely do. In one of their updates, I remember them say that they look on fansites as well as rsof for feedback from the players.
  13. I remember someone from tip.it dying. I don't remember if it was a suicide or something. I think it was shiva... If she was the one who played c wars a lot... RIP shiva :(
  14. aznmidget448 replied to a post in a topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Exactly :D If these fish were real, I would care more :-#
  15. So many people with 99 fletching and cooking #-o Time fore me to get it, lol.
  16. Yeah, it's about time they remove the ditch of stupidity and the bank pins. I think I'll just stop using mine since there's no reason for anyone to try and steal my stuff (I hope)
  17. No one is perfect and therefore no one can do a perfect job :) The problem with veteran servers is that they would take so much time to create and there will be people there who will continue to gold farm and auto. They'll just be more careful about losing their accounts and might even create a few a couple months in advance just in case they lose their current ones. As for ess running, I think that would actually be a good idea, but wouldn't that just cut out the runners since people could simply just stand in the air place and just keep leveling? Therefore, the runners would be useless. I think making a system more like the GE would be a good idea. Basically the runners go there, talk to npc to give unnoted ess, wait for the crafter to take the offer, and get 2k + ess back in return. Aka the crafter gives 2k + noted ess to the npc and the runner gives unnoted for 2k and noted ess. I disagree with the general store idea. What is considered a "busy" world at one point will be an "unbusy" world within seconds if it's teetering on the edge of the limit. Even on busy worlds, it wouldn't be hard to buy rares from general stores. If you're expecting the item to be there unlike others who aren't, you have a huge advantage and can easily buy it before other people can even see it. For the 15 people in a certain radius idea, I disagree. A sweat shop can simply just get 15 people into an upstairs room in some random house and have his own "drop party" to drop trade all of the employee's cash. And once again, when you are expecting it and know where it will be dropped, you will have a huge advantage of getting it over other people. As for the party area idea, eh... I don't think so. There are so many worlds that have no one there so it'd be easy to drop trade (again). I don't understand how your idea of merchanting would help... It just seems a little illogical. It wouldn't help merchanting, but make merchanting more of a sport of running around between npcs and waiting for them to spawn... Plus, I think Jagex is trying to slowly kill off the places where large amounts of money are being made such as the duel arena and the merchanting business. They're making the game more skill based. I like your imp hunting and monster drops idea, however, I think these time spans should be a little less, but then again, I've never had scouts and never kqed before... I completely agree with your pking idea. Make the revenants drop things pkers would actually bring to the wildy instead of 500 gp... Perhaps a rune full, rune legs, rune kite, etc for the mid levels. Addy, mith armor for the lower ones. And a little rarer but still possible drops of whip, barrow pieces, and maybe d skirt/legs. Of course the higher level drops cannot be very often because of the likelihood of dying. If this were to be implements, I do not think graveyards should be in the wildy. Instead your items disappear and are unclaimable or the graveyard timing should be cut in half. This is to prevent players who go there over and over again with friends protecting their items and therefore not losing anything. Eh, I disagree with the NPC staking. It's making the game too much based on pvc and therefore changing the game way too much. I would simply just raise the staking limit. Plus, staking was meant to be a place for friends to have fun, but ended up as a huge money making business. There's few things mroe fun than getting something from a macroer's death pile. An idea is to make it so that regular players can see what the player has dropped; however, if the loot isn't collected before the gravestone despawns, then the loot would be available to everyone. The transfer of wealth would one again be making rs too much of a pvc game. I would suggest using the idea I placed earlier for rune running. It is basically the same, but without the 1 bill drop parties and not interaction between players and dependence of players upon other players, keeping the community interacting.
  18. No one, although I have lost those dumb autoers :
  19. Sorry... I just want to point out that the loot share worlds were built to share the loot of the kq and you could technically keep up your friend's grave for him/her to come back and dig up to reclaim what was lost. However, I do agree with you where you mentioned that friends have limited interaction. 100k is not that much to give to a friend and what about birthdays + Christmas? Where's the spirit when there are no gifts to give? I know we'll have it for this Christmas, but what about the next one and the one after that? Sure they could make a week long trade anything, but that wouldn't help the birthday problem. There's a birthday every day and on your birthday you expect gifts, yet Jagex won't let you get any... I also agree with you when you mentioned that summoning and other things being a cover up. What better time to bring it in then a time where players are unhappy and are just about to quit? Because summoning is going to be p2p (at least i think it is), f2p needs updates to stay in game, right? After all, they make up a humongous percentage of the RS population. So to bargain with f2p, Jagex implemented a dueling arena and more f2p bank space. So instead of being criticized 24/7 by everyone, Jagex will try to keep people happy. By the time the summoning hype is over and f2p gets used to their capes, bank space, and dueling arena, everyone will have already forgotten about the trade update and will be happy on their merry ways. This is Jagex's way of bargaining with us: giving us stuff so that we forget about another thing... sort of like how doctors give infants lollipops when giving them the shot. It helps to divert our concentration... In the end, I do not like this new update... However, looking at the pros: no autoers, no scamming, no rwt, and a newer, nicer, more friendly community, I believe that Jagex knows what they are doing, knows the consequences to their actions, and are willing to hurt themselves in order to stop cheaters from ruining the rest of the game for us. Keep in mind that Jagex is indeed open to new ideas from the players and will implement the ideas they find will be beneficial towards the game as a whole, not just for one or two people, but the majority.
  20. I don't think that's necessary. Jagex already pointed out that they would accepts ideas to help build off their current one. They've already said they're not going to revert back to the old idea and in order to make this work, I think that they will have to basically revert back. Being able to drop 50k every 20 minutes would be quite a lot. It would mean 150k every hour and that's just about how much an average yew cutter can make, meaning that the autoers would be back and drop trading everything. Bringing only combat items into the wildy wouldn't work too well either. A player could simply just go in wearing 3rd age or something ridiculous like that and get killed purposefully. Also, that would mean rc pkers wouldn't be able to bring their runes  I disagree with the ticket idea. People could simply make new accounts and kill themselves over and over again in order to gain more tickets to buy more expensive outfits. However those are some good ideas and if fixed a little, they could be worthy of consideration.
  21. It was bigger when I did it in paint so I think it shrunk when I uploaded it. I had more detail before (well, detail meaning his eyes, a little better hair, a smirk on his face, the guthix symbol on armor, etc...). Thanks Elmo. I'll try that and see if it looks better.
  22. Eh... A mix between dueling and bounty hunter... I don't really favor it yet I don't really disagree. If it gets rid of revs, then I actually wouldn't mind it at all. :anxious:
  23. Hmmm... Yeah, I think there should be a abyss rc world so that they can all work together and there's less of a chance for revenents attacking each individual. I vote world 99 \ Oh wait, it's too crowded... World 9, 26, 28, 64, 69, and 110 are the only world currently not names for members. I would suggest 110 since it is the easiest to remember next to 69, which... yeah... I'll just not say it. I eliminated 9 because it can oftentimes be full...
  24. Haahaa, thanks :) To elmo: does paint automatically save it as JPeg or is there a PNG option for it? I don't have adobe photoshop or GIMP right now. I will probably end up installing it in the end, but for now, I'm working with Paint. If there is a JPeg option, can you tell me how to access it? :anxious: Sorry, but I'm too busy tonight to work on it. Between shoveling snow and working on my lab write-up, I haven't had much time to do anything runescape related.
  25. Ok, so it's smaller than I expected... I'll enlargen it tomorrow. I am pretty bad at this stuff seeing as it is my second time and this was made in Microsoft Paint... Not exactly the best program #-o . I guess I will need to do a lot of shading to make it better... Any tips or constructive criticisms are being accepted... Btw: The guy is holding a d axe and guthix prayer book. He's supposed to be wearing a santa, full guthix, glory ammy, d boots, red gloves, and wc cape. I did not expect it to come out so small so I will try to change that later on. Once (or if) I ever complete this, it will be my new sig.
