  1. Maybe Jagex took the basic concepts and put them towards the Bounty Hunter game? Only a guess :|
  2. Yeah, that's highly probable. Not too many options :-#
  3. Yeah, pretty much same here =X Pro: Easy selling, no more yelling/looking for people to sell to... Con: Some items are impossible to sell like willow logs, even at lowest possible price :uhh:
  4. I agree with wild goat. Everyone's jumping to conclusions when Jagex hasn't done anything except release a new mini-game.
  5. Right now I'm chopping down trees for cash. Yew prices are amazing right now and I can sell them almost instantaneously :) Woot GE! I might be able to get a santa by summer at this rate, lol :XD:
  6. I'm personally most excited for the development diaries and christmas event seeing as I'm f2p and have fun keeping up with what Jagex plans for the game. I've also never been much of a pker/pvp person so those things aren't that interesting to me.
  7. I don't like Ahrim, I don't know why... He's just seemed so ugly to me :ohnoes: I personally like Dhorak because I love woodcutting and he has a humongous axe
  8. I'm guessing maybe Gold and Silver Bars to "pretty up" your grave? :-# Oh, and flowers to put on them :
  9. If they want to get rid of pking, Bounty Hunter will have to go F2p :P
  10. And that's why Jagex is attacking RWT rather than bots. By getting rid of RWT, bots are less useful.
  11. I think the gravestones are just in addition to the drop pile... I don't think they're modifying staking... And I also think you're jumping to conclusions :
  12. I think if they did decide to auto, they'd lose a ton of money due to pkers. How hard is it to kill a person who doesn't respond to your movements? Not very...
  13. It would tip the balance of the monster to human player damage ratio. We would be overpowering them, and therefore the more common drops will effect the market and completely mess up the game like a domino effect.
  14. Andrew and Lightning have same birthdays? Happy b-day to both of them :XD:
  15. Lol, I didn't see this topic before. Thanks for bumping it up :) Haahaa, we just learned what conspicuous consumption means in History class :) There are probably more hidden reasons as to why Jagex capped staking. They might not be obvious now, but they'll eventually make their entrance into RS society.
  16. Where do pheonixes rise from? :
  17. What will the Podcast be about and how do you plan on communication?
  18. Oh god, that was funny. You know, I was half expecting that idiot to ask for a blue party hat or something like that at the end. :ohnoes: There has to be more to his conversation -.- Only someone who was trying to make fun of people who have horrible grammar and spelling would write something like that to mock those types of people, right? Well, I'd hope so because that (kid?) is probably at... -1000 iq. How are his/her parents letter him/her do this and not care? That's just pathetic! Anyways, it was funny :P I laughed my posterior off. \
  19. I believe Jagex will go ahead and set a price on it. Maybe higher at first and gradually become less, but still a set price. I think one of the reasons Jagex implemented this system was in order to set such prices so they are not out of whack from the start.
  20. Yeah, give it some time. Prices just need time to balance and once they do, the Grand Exchange will be a lot better :)
  21. Sarcasm? If not Did they stopped it? No. So was it worth it? No! It will help when Jagex finishes their plan. After the ess update, ess bots left to wc. However, when (or if) jagex updates wc to rid the bots, then basically the bots go to fishing. Keep on updating the game until the bots have nothing left to do and we will be bot free :D Of course all this will come at a price, but I'll willing to adjust to these changes. They really aren't too bad. Pure Ess and normal ess aren't a big issue anymore so things will die down over time. Sure dueling took a hit, but you will realize it's not a big deal in a month or two. In the long run, these adjustments are worth it and will help to make the game bot free.
  22. I have the same lag problems, but I haven't done any speed tests while playing yet. My dad split the cable so that half would go to the kitchen in the TV and half to the internet, but I don't know if this affected my internet speed much. I haven't been having any problems browsing, but I do see some rs lag. I don't know if it's the same problem as you have though :-#
  23. It's just supply and demand. The economy will fix itself. When prices get too low, people will realize this and not sell any more, making the price rise back up. When people realize the price is high, then they will start getting more of that item and sell it. It's a simple balance scale and our economy won't implode.
  24. Are the stats and speeds still the same? If they are, then there shouldn't be any difference in hitting. The stats determine the accuracy and damage each bolt can do and the speed determines how much xp you get over a certain amount of time. Oh, and xp/damage is also a factor. Try dividing the experience by the amount of damage you do. If this is the same as before, then the xp/damage rate didn't change and that is not the reason :)
  25. I'll help by supplying the iron sets, but I probably won't be on during Christmas. What do you consider a full set to include?
