Will the Release of Summoning Drop an Old p2p Skill Down?
Idk, the only one I think is possible is fletching, but you won't be able to fletch much for money because there are no yew longs in f2p, no bs in f2p, and no maple logs in f2p. Best people can do is take those willows out of GE and just simply level fletching while making 10 gp by selling it to the general store. I personally think that Jagex will be forced to make summoning f2p because imagine duel arenas and BH. Members would have higher cb lvls even though they probably can't use summoning in f2p worlds. If they are able to use summoning in f2p worlds, that would just completely unbalance the combat in f2p. Although I am open to these ideas, I highly doubt that Jagex will implement herblore (because they need to open up a new area and create herb drops for f2p), construction (What's the point of an f2p house? No glory, no portal, a little bland imo), agility (too much work opening up a new arena and where can you even place it? Plus, the wildy agility arena's in p2p only area.), and fletching (not very profitable and too much adjustment) into f2p worlds. I believe the only plausible idea is dropping summoning into f2p worlds just because there will be too much of a combat difference between f2p and p2p otherwise.

Runescape is the biggest regret of my life.
Lol, I followed the footsteps of my sister and did XC :) I'm curious to hear how long each day ice ring played every day. I personally play 2 hours or less daily (eh, 3 hrs or less if you include the tip.it forum) and I personally think I have done some very nice work in real life. Runescape is a game to me, not an escape from real life. If you can understand runescape that way, it will not get in the way of having friends, joining clubs, or playing sports. I volunteer almost weekly at a local hospital, I run XC during the fall + play tennis during the spring, I play bass trombone in my school's jazz band (made Central districts this year, auditioning for states : ), I'm part of National Honors Society, compete in the local Math competitions, and do some other things. I am pretty happy where I am right now. I guess if you're addicted to the game, you will pay for it in real life, but otherwise, RuneScape can be just a simple thing you do for fun. I believe if you spend over five hours a day playing, you really need to become more active in real life, but that's only me. Please no flaming me for what I just said. I'm sure there are people who play more than 5 hrs a day and have a nice real life, but it's definitely not easy to do.

An Inconvenient Truth: High Alching Yew Longs Gone?
I think that the prices will stabilize in the near future, making yew long alching worth it. I believe that the complete removal of autoers was the reason behind the huge rise in price. For around a week or two, I was often alone while chopping yew logs, however, there has been a rise in the amount of choppers. This means that soon, the buyers of yew logs will be satisfied, causing a large drop in price of yews, which will consequentially cause a drop in the price of yew longs, allowing alchers to make more money.

Real life NPC's
Well, the herring with the tree isn't something you would just do. I think it was part of a quest and word just got around to the people who didn't do that quest. I heard it for the first time here on tip.it :) And yeah, the Indiana Jones thing... I don't know if Jagex did it on purpose or if you over analyzed it, but cool find nonetheless. I would never have been able to come up with that.

Sorry to have offended you kind sir
I believe that the censor is definitely necessary and Jagex has done a great job adjusting the censor. HOWEVER I do agree with what you said. My suggestion is an option to have three different censor levels. One for basically what they have now, a second for just crossing out swear words, and one last option for just ignoring all censors. The only problem with this is that the younger gamers will undoubtedly turn off the curse filter and learn some rather obscene language which they would repeat in front of their parents who will end up arguing to Jagex. But I do agree that if only people aged 13+ were playing, the curse filter should definitely be removed.

Player Owned Shops: Obsolete?
I believe that these shops are obsolete. They hold no value anymore since it is easy to buy and sell the products to the Grand Exchange and with the limit to the price range, there would be no point in making shops. I do not see any possibility for the future player owned shops.

SimpleScape! :O
Lol, at first I thought you were just being a noob, but I understood the point at the end (one of the reasons people need to read the whole post). Nice reasoning :D Yes, Jagex did a great job on the game and have very few faults. They cannot please everyone and people need to accept that, yet there will always be the few immature people who cannot accept this fact and will complain when updates negatively affect them or they are upset because of some rather silly reason. I would like to thank Jagex for a game well made and a job well done. They have pleased the majority of players and that is what counts.

Real life NPC's
It is pretty cool how Jagex uses ideas from the real world in their game. The following quote is not a reference to a real life person, but rather a movie. (Not verbatim) This is from Monty Python and can be found in rs by using a (herring?) on any tree. There are many more of these references in the game (well, others that I can't think of right now).

Rs2: Blaming Miniclip For All The Evils Of Runescape
Just like children run towards candy, people in rs blame the first thing they can. In this case, the blame was put on miniclips because it was the first scapegoat people saw. Simply put, people will blame things on anyone to avoid the blame. I'm not sure if what I said above made any sense. I just can't seem to put my idea into words :-k

RuneScape - Helped My Grades?
Indeed. Runescape can be a nice stress relieving outlet and fun for many people. Depending on what you do to fill up the time, it could be negative or positive. For example, if you're studying 24/7 or watching TV and eating potato chips, then you really should find something else to do such as hanging out with friends or playing some sports. I guess another reason could be that you are in a depression, although I highly doubt it. If your mind is often wandering or thinking about something else, it could easily affect your grades and your short term memory. I guess Runescape can be positive towards you though. Depending on what you do in game, Runescape gives some social relationships, basic math review, logic advancement (quests force you to think), and determination + satisfaction of hard work (from leveling skills). I don't think that quitting the game could affect anyone too much, but it's possible.

What do you mean by no lifer?
Yeah, pretty much says it all :) A no lifer is someone who sees Runesccape as his or her top priority. Luckily, I'm not one of them :

Snow in TzHaar.
Well, obviously the snow was mixed to contain carbon and tungsten, which have high enough melting points that they are solid even past 3000 degrees Celsius. Therefore, the snow does not melt in the Tzarr Cave :)

Who did I just delete?
Actually, this would be a really good idea for clumsy old me :) I've done this in the past and it's a pain to figure out who I deleted so I have to leave private chat on until they pm me and I figure out who it was, lol.

Hbks RS Song Thread~Newest Song~Ancient Wizard~Noob Who?
Grrr... I'll say it again: You're like Bubsa #2 : 3 songs in 1 day? That's impressive
-
The Solution Lies in the Problem
That's what I thought at first, but figured Jagex had their reasons to doing such. Maybe someone can send a query suggesting this or asking why they didn't so it?

The Take Over, Real World Tradings Over
The new Bubsa? :D Lol, I probably have the actual song somewhere in my music folder. I'll look for it later and listen to it while (attempting to) sing to the lyrics. :P The lyrics are pretty cool. I liked it :

I Had a Feeling That RWT Was Behind All the Chaos
Most of the people who are against these updates are autoers. NOTE THAT I DID SAY MOST, NOT ALL SO DON'T FLAME ME TELLING ME THAT YOU ARE AGAINST IT AND YOU ARE NOT AN AUTOER... Now that I've made that point, I would just like to say that autoers are trying to rebel and force Jagex to change their ways. I've heard from a lot of different people that they (the rwters) are holding events and doing other things in order to try and revert back to the old ways.

Yup, same with Cadavery berries. Next time, ask in Help and Advice forum :

Why can't Jagex take them down?
There are just too many of them for Jagex to approach and if they are indeed taken down, they can always start up a new one.

Lol, it's funny how they think we are the nerds...
Lol, that guy's just jealous of your amazing skills =P~
