Do You Listen To Music While Playing RS?
I listen to my computer trying to run the game without anything other than the game open... DANG IT COMPUTER!!! :wall:

Monday Poll: What caused your first Runescape death?
Hmm... that's a good question... I honestly don't remember. I think it was probably that mugger or those jail guards near draynor, but I'm not sure.

Tip.it Times Presents: Realistic Games? No thanks.
Tbh, I enjoy the graphic updates only because it is a change of scenery. I really don't care how nice they look, but rather a change from the bland, boring looks. Other than that, I feel graphic updates are useless : However, in some games, such as Halo, graphics are important. When sniping, it is essential to see a clear image and precision in order to shoot them in just the right way so you can obtain another kill. Other than those occasions, I completely agree with your article.

Why don't we have a sky render?
It would take a lot of unnecessary work to add in a sky. I think Runescape is fine without one and we should leave it as it is.
-
Is it me or do you think of this too?
Well, I don't really act in any way against those beggars and usually I will just teleport, switch worlds, or stick them behind a door while I run. So basically I get away without any damage to myself. If they ever decide that they want to report me, I will tell them to go ahead because I have done nothing wrong and even if Jagex gets a 60 second screen shot, it will only show I am just an average player of Runescape who might actually seem stingy, but there's no rule against that, right?

Will anyone be left to play RS in 5 years?
Ah, I must disagree. By limiting the dueling capabilities, that gets rid of all those annoying 10-year-olds who insist on making as much money as possible and being 1337. Older people will (hopefully) see the dueling arena as a place to have fun and make friends rather than make unlimited amounts of money and calling other people noobs because they themselves lost a fair duel and tons of money with it.

Jagex's attacks on RWT and Autoers
Jagex has done a lot for the rtw and autoer issues. However, we will not see the effects of these changes just yet. If my assumptions are correct, this is only a step towards removing them and by the time Jagex is done with them, there will be no use for autoing. I think Jagex will slowly cut away their tasks by implementing new systems such as they did to the pure ess. Of course this is only my assumption so there is a high chance that I am wrong, but it seems like a logical approach.
-
A rollback/reset? :o
Unlike the creator of that game, Jagex has thought things out. Their way of fixing such issues was creating RS2, giving the players an option of staying in RSC or moving on to RS2. Plus, Jagex has a much bigger organization which means more brains to think up new ideas and more brains to think of the dire consequences. I believe that this will not occur. If something bad does happen, Jagex will probably move on to RS3 with some new features and some exp modifications. As for the GE, I think Jagex is trying to control the economy, and I personally think this is a good thing. By controlling the economy, they can benefit the honest, hard-working players and cut down on the real-world traders and lazy money-making people.

Ignore list= mean?
Rather than using the ignore list, I prefer to just change my chat to friends and take them off my friends list. This way, I can basically filter only the people I feel like talking to and allowing only them to realize that I am on. I guess this is another reason I don't use a world as my home world where I will always log on.

One Letter Names?
In RSC, people were allowed to make names less than three letters long. In the update of the system, the 3 min letter rule came in play ( i think).

Should there be a faster weapon than whip?
How about that the weapon was a holy weapon. So when you tried to pk someone with it, a message like this came up: "The sword refuses to obey evil deeds" or something. That way it woulden't change pking... Give me reply back :-w Idk... it's just that monsters are already dying fast enough with the current weapons. If they increased the average damage per second the weapon would do, then the monsters would only get tougher and then people would want stronger weapons. I personally think Jagex has the weapons at a pretty good damage level right now and if they were to change the speed or damage the weapons could potentially do, then the game would become unstable in a way that either monsters would die too fast or too slow. Currently there aren't too many complaints about weapons, so it would probably be a good idea to keep them at the same pace and strength until people really start complaining. However, this doesn't mean Jagex should stop making new weapons. I think that the "Holy Weapon" idea of yours is good and could be a nice addition to the game. However, instead of being faster, maybe making it cost less so that more average people could obtain it.

My thoughts on Jagex, Runescape and where its headed
I disagree. Runescape was a community and is currently a community. The difference, however, is that it used to be a smaller, friendly community. I personally think Jagex is moving back to that community by ridding the game of, essentially, cheaters. I know that they disappointed many of their players, however, this is one of the steps Jagex is willing to take in order to revert it back into its once friendly community. I personally think Jagex is moving in a positive direction and the futures of Runescape will be much better than it is now, and more populated than it used to be.

Should there be a faster weapon than whip?
How about a dagger? That's faster and still pretty strong. I wouldn't agree to anything as strong as the whip but faster. Then pking and killing would be way too easy and pointless.

The End Of Runescape
Well, I would benefit from it because... -I would have more time -My eyesight would improve from not sitting in front of the computer all day -I would become more physically fit because I would spend more time walking around and outdoors. -I would probably do better in school because I would have time to study more -I would probably end up happy, but bored... But RS won't die so fast :) (I hope)

30 November 2007 - Party Room Changes
I would hate it if they balanced trades... There goes my b-day presents for RS friends :( I would hate having to "destroy" all my objects if i accidentally picked them up or something. It would take so long because you would have to move your mouse so much to do it. As for PKing, it's already risky for drop traders so I don't think it's necessary to do anything about it. There's always the chance of getting pked by another person.

RuneScape's logo: Dated compared to MechScape and FunOrb's?
Eh, I guess the logo is what attracts some people to the game I personally like the RS one because it looks like the most time was put into it :-#

Worst way for skill capes to backfire
Those woodcutting and attack cape things would be fun. I could go around killing autoers and noobs :P
-
to those complaining about recent updates
Finally someone I can agree with :P I personally think merchanters and people who won tons of money on staking are missing the point of the game, which is to have fun and make friends while training your skills. I do the same thing as Draven when it comes to gaining items. My advice: Find something else to do, stop complaining, and move on with your life.

Runescape *still* not safe.
I personally use firefox while playing and it contains a feature that pretty much just deletes the ads. It is very useful and I love it But if you are not so lucky, don't click their ads. They only post these ads to support their own company and make money. What I would suggest is just clicking the restore button and then align it so you do not see the ads. This will not only prevent "accidental clicks", but it will also free up some RAM on your computer, consequentially allowing your computer to perform faster and more efficiently, aka less lag.

âš¥âš¤Jagex, Copy and Paste?âš¤âš
They use automatic responses. With so many players and so many queries, it is hard for Jagex to keep up with the mail. They will occasionally personally answer questions, but most of the time, they will send you an automated e-mail in order to save their time and spend that time to help updates etc.

Dueling Cap, Actually Well Justified
Dueling was a huge source of money for players. Now that it is gone, rares will not be so easy to obtain and dueling will no longer be a huge money maker. As said before, when dueling was first created, it was meant to be fun and a chance to show off some skill, but now people are abusing the fun and making it a huge contest in which they could make unlimited amounts of money. Now that the cap is on, dueling will revert back to what it used to be and will be fun with friends or even random strangers. I say it's a good thing in that it will help kids and adults to not spend hours at a time, sitting in front of their computer in order to obtain money.

Chaos Elemental Hints toward Summoning?
Yes, there is definitely something related between the two, but I can't put my finger on it. Hmmm... interesting... Nuclei. I do not know what this means, but the Chaos Elemental does look like a nuclei. Maybe Jagex was hinting at what they based the Chaos Elemental off of? I don't really know what else to think of this. I was also wondering what hints could be based off of this picture when I first saw it. I guess I'll just have to wait for someone else to crack the puzzle. Until then, I will continue to ponder... :-k

Runescape-less and less original
I disagree. Most good games have these features. Duel Arena is basically player vs. player. Commonly seen throughout most popular games including Halo, Shattered Galaxy, etc. It's in almost every good game out there. Alright, the assist system I can't really say too much about, but I am pretty sure this is their update in order to stop those annoying people who say "Free Gem Cutting" and run away once they obtain what they wanted. Same with the GE. The GE will massively reduce scamming and help to create a new era of trading and help to organize price values through numbers rather than merchanters. And lastly, summoning was originally going to be in the game. As posted in the Development Diary, it was meant to come out long ago. I highly doubt they had decided to "steal" ideas from WoW in order to better their own game back then. Overall, I think you are just overlooking some coincidences. There will always be similarities between games, however, I do not think that Runescape is ripping it's game off of WoW.
