  1. I'm mostly at the end because I don't have many friends who play anymore
  2. I've mentioned this account issue before, but the macroers don't usually pick names average players would use: for example qvc21352. Unless someone's initials were qvc and they felt the number 21352 were lucky, then no one would even miss this name. Most of the macroers are like this. (For future reference, I made that name up #-o )
  3. Wow, I haven't noticed this at all... Oh well... It shouldn't be too big of a hassle since I'm not a merchanter
  4. I disagree with the zamorak robes. I think regular rs clothes would be fine...
  5. Yeah, he pretty much said everything. It just wouldn't be a good idea and basically noobs would buy their way to phats and other items which would just be unfair. They need to work for their money and items and that's what runescape is based around.
  6. Heh, Leester's back :) I just came back a while ago myself :-# (Although I'm still f2p -.- ) Grats on 90 slayer + dark bow. It looks kind of weird though : (I'm still working on a santa :(... It's no fun being f2p, lol.)
  7. The would create chaos. Imagine looking at your friends list when all your friends have new names :ohnoes: Hmm... but I think it's about time to get rid of "midget". I'm 5'6" so I'm not too short anymore, lol
  8. People are too jumpy around p-mods. That's why most of them keep silent now-adays :( P-mods are just average players (who are a little better than the rest, but still normal) who should be treated like normal players.
  9. Your logic is a bit weird so a irl example its not the drug dealers fault for supplying them with drugs its the ppl buying it from him? :-k Its people who are willing to pay for in game money who create the demand. If no one was willing to pay real money for game money then there would be no reason for gold farmers to exist. And as you stated, if no one wanted to buy illeagal drugs, then no one would bother sellign them. Its both parties fault. Its the fault of gamers who pay real cash for gold pieces, and its gold faming companies fault for making that possible. Jagex has mentioned it in their updates, however no one seems to care :-#
  10. By the looks of it, I'm going to guess that it's a lion's head. 8-) I'm seeing the picture as if it were an abyssal monster thing. There's the head on top (with the dark area the eye) and half of the body. Of course I'm wrong, but I'm just throwing that idea out there :XD:
  11. Yeah... +1 Imagine getting one of those That would be really awkward... Although the first two are cute :
  12. Lol, a use for bird eggs finally. I'm personally collecting a couple normal eggs to sell when summoning comes out  although I probably won't make much money -.- lol
  13. Are those the Drake and Josh nerds? :-k No.. both of them are not black haired. OT: Well it really depends what you do in Runescape Lol, King, I was thinking the same thing :) People call us nerds because we spend countless hours playing RS when real life is passing us. This is why I keep my playing a secret. I don't want to become a social outcast
  14. +1, Damn straight. Zybez doesn't have anything but whiney clans flaming each other about wars that they cheated in. Lol :P Tip It is a community who works together. TIP.IT FTW!
  15. I don't think so. noobs would continuously do this and they people who would want free things could just go to the dag area and keep nudging the people who are working on the kings. This would be a disaster since people can stay there for hours at a time, but cannot do anything since they will be under constant barrage by enemies. However, it is a very creative idea that might work if work with some adjustments.
  16. Basically if you have better ideas to stop autoers, sweat shop workers, scamming, and real world trading, go e-mail the ideas to Jagex. If you don't stop whining because it will not help get any of Jagex to advance further and will only hold them back from doing anything useful.
  17. Jagex has probably set max and min prices to stop items from completely losing their value.
  18. The funny thing is that there are also other autoers including those 20 green drag autoers you saw. There're probably at least another 20 yew autoers, at least 10 fishing guild autoers, probably still a few ess autoers, and a couple other dragon killers. They make up probably 1/3 of the population :-# NOT GOOD!! However, although Jagex has lied when they say they keep them under control, they are trying. They cannot simply keep banning because they will only lose more possible created names and space on their own servers dealing with names and looks of human players. By avoiding that whole section and cutting directly to real-world trading (the reason why autoers auto), they can reduce high amounts of autoers and sweatshop workers. Now everyone's complaining that it's such a bad idea, but in actuality, it's not such a bad one. Jagex does not have many other options if they want to keep the economy stable and stop cheaters.
  19. I WIN   THE STORY OF THE SECOND FIRE CAPE Well as some of you may or may not know...I recently lost my fire cape on The afternoon of Monday, April 16, 2007. This happened when i was going to the metal dragons for a slayer task of my 44 Iron dragons. Well as we all know noone likes doing semi dangerous and sorta long slayer tasks late at night so being the normal person i am (sometimes) i decided to bank for my iron dragon slayer gear and go to bed, and that i would kill those iron dragons for slayer the next day. So thats exactly what i did... So the very next day i head down to iron dragons already fully prepared to slay them by the time i get into the lair and realise im missing one thing...(as im hit from a distance with a 19...With my anti fire potion having been drank...) So being the fact that i was at iron dragons and no food is required...i didnt have any food to eat as i tried to run away in a panic...while trying to tele away using a glory...(took it cuz i had no bank space for a 1 charge glory in the bank...) So alas that was the fate of that first fire cape i had  :XD: Ouch... That's why you always bring 1 or 2 foods just in case :) Hmm... similar experience happened to me first time at iron drags. I bring my normal gear, normal antifire shield and a normal shield, and basically food for the rest of inventory. I get there and get hit by dragon flame :-# Wait, they can hit that high with a shield? Oh, haahaa, I forgot to switch shields when I got there Almost died :) Although I did die to a fire giant when doing dt. I was on the smoke diamond and before running around to light all the flames, I logged out to make sure I knew what I was doing. Then I go back to the game screen and see myself in lumbridge... I guess when I decided to log out, a fire giant killed me and seeing as I was wearing mystics + staff (no auto set attack because I didn't want to waste runes), I died pretty easily... Didn't lose too much though... a couple deaths and chaos with some mystics and energy pots...
  20. yes but at what price? Is not part of this obvious? At the expense stakers. At least that is the most obvious one at this current time, however after the astonishing, and almost literally, eradication of staking. Dont be all too surprised too see perhaps more things go soon, for example perhaps pking in some way shape or form as you can look at all the other speculation threads about the gravestones and what they may mean for this game. The pure ess update, the cap on dueling update... There's a lot Jagex is willing to do... However, people will get used to these changes over time. I remember the first time pure ess came in. That was just about as crazy flame-wise as the GE and dueling cap updates are right now. Don't worry so much about it. You'll get used to it when you allow yourself to see the positives.
  21. At least you can do something with it... The worst mistake I've ever done was sell my santa for 500k when they were worth that much. I also made the mistake of selling a different santa in order to get zamorak armor :wall:
  22. Lol, I am too lazy to read past the first page because most of them will all be flames... But a more realistic example is yew logs. So when I sell it a market price and it is bought immediately, is Jagex buying hundreds of them so that we can sell forever? NO! Other people are buying them to make a profit for themselves. Normally, there would be an equal balance between seller and buyer, however, in this case, the prices and demand of them are so high, that the suppliers aren't able to bring in enough. Therefore when selling, the sellers can sell immediately at almost 400gp and the buyers are sitting there, waiting for anyone to sell to them. The same thing is happening with rares. Due to the limited amount, this is even worse because most people are buying santas to show off their wealth and holiday costumes. Once Christmas passes, I believe there will be a surplus in the sellers, causing the price to decrease and easier access for the buyers.
  23. That looks perfect. It does look pretty good. Thing is... They can't go for much longer sqaushing our total level into an ever smaller space. They might as well completely re-work the inferface now to accomodate for more skills rather than continuously putting it off. Eh, I'm sure they can procrastinate this for 1 last update :
