I know some people are probably going to flame me to hell for saying this...but.... wikipedia is more useful than people give it credit for...use it Anyway, those questions seem to imply that you need to develop some sort of understanding of the time periods. You'd also be surprised how helpful google can be... I wish I could help you more, but history's not my thing. Oh, and btw, the AP test is pretty difficult at your age. I think that I got a 3 (out of 5) on the AP us history test, and I'm a pretty smart guy. Then again I didn't study....heh.... I sort of regret not studying to get a 4 and earn some college credit back then.

If you want to GET IN to any old college, then no, you don't need extra cirrics. If you want to get in to a decent college with any sort of reputation at all, then I'd suggest you do a few activities after school. If you want to get into a sub-ivy-league but still good school, do several things outside of school, AND do them WELL. Sport recommended since they involve a bit of time and are looked upon favorably. (Obviously more than activities matters once you're here, but I'm just writing concerning this one subject) Ivy-League = leadership in a few extra cirrics, do a sport at least, and belong to several different clubs around school. I'm by no means a professional, but from what I've seen, that's what I'd suggest.

You...first of all, get a grip. Calm down. I will admit that 5 months is a long time...but you're young anyway. To be honest it's not a huge deal. I made out when I was 8 or 9 lol. Magic is simply a synonym for anyone's god or religion. It's all a complete mystery to which, up to this point, has never been shown to truly exist. I won't even start. I'll walk away. Oh it's hard. While that's a nice idea in general, there is actually MORE money stagnated in the bank account of a rich person. Only bad thing is.... So far astrals seem to be down to 250 per...if a company started for them, there would be no demand, and thus no runners would come because they woudln't make much money at all compared to running laws. That's speculation, but just a thought.

Life has no inherent meaning save for what meaning you give it. The notion of the existence of anything (including you) after death is completely hypothetical, and for the most part completely unfounded. Religion itself takes for granted the existence of anything beyond what is apparently physical, yet as we have seen, the human mind is quite capable of creating what is clearly not real in the physical world; and therefore one can see that the creation of religion was not only possible but quite unavoidable in due time. If you have trouble grappling with this, then perhaps another alternate route would be a more preferable option. Any supreme being would most likely be bathing in his own mysery, contemplating the meaning of its own existence whilst simultaneously neglecting that which previously gave it purpose...that being, presumably, humans, or perhaps even the universe. To give a concrete example, imagine playing a video game in sandbox mode. You create and create until eventually you stop creating, and you quit, because you realize that there exists no further purpose in creating. For what end is that creation? Answer that question, and you may be wiser than any god of man. Therefore, since it is established that there is nothing certain after death, it must be declared irrelevant, for any theory would be equally valid. Taking this fact into mind, we may progress. This is where personal opinion must come into play, for there is nothing except personal preference that remains. I, for one, have adopted meaning enough in learning about everything that I may, and enjoying my life on this earth. Life should be an adventure. Although I have, at times, found myself adopting a nihilistic viewpoint, I suppose that I still find life enjoyable enough to live it as well as I can. In sum, I would not fear nor rejoice in any "knowledge" of an afterlife. However, I do hold in esteem the idea put forward by Socrates shortly before his death. That is, death is merely sleep. Not so bad now, is it?

*DOH double post* Yes, "t k s" was the leader for quite a while...then there was a time period where a bunch of different people kept taking over number one position, and then finally Zezima took over and has been king since then. If I remember right, t k s had a skill total of around 1500 something when he stopped playing.

That's why I've at least TRIED doing everything. I've sort of settled down as a combat trainer, skiller, and quester, just because those are my favorite things. However, since I've tried the other ways of playing rs, I can appreciate them and respect them.
