Exactly... Adding to the toolbelt in the rest of RS (non-dung) could also be done simply up to runite (and no adze)... If people cry over "accidently" adding that to their toolbelts, then tough... And again I apologize if the article as a whole seems a bit like a rant... You can trust me that my article for next month will be as eloquent as you have come to expect from me ;)

Well, in context with the rest of the article (fix RuneScape stuff using other RuneScape stuff); when they introduced the Concentrated Ores they made the Mining skill too much like the Woodcutting skill... So in using stuff that already exists in RuneScape, they actually went a bit too far on this one... Just like the best food from the Cooking skill reference is an example of them not actually knowing which to pick... I wanted to show what can be done rather easily, and to put it in contrast, I put an example in where they have done so but shouldn't have, as well as an example where it's still up in the air... So I can understand that a long and slightly monotomous list comes off as a rant, but that wasn't my intention... The number of examples I could use to make the point of the article is just overwhelming...

Don't you think that the popularity (thats what Jagex calls it) of the SoF is in part because there are still aspects of some skills that are too grindy, too expensive, too slow, or otherwise bad? Granted; killing off bots and goldfarmers (and their pimps) was a perfect opportunity for Jagex to capitalise on it with buyable spins, but if all the skills out there were actually enjoyable to do, you wouldn't need effigies, lamps, peng points, etc... What Jagex calls the popularity of the SoF, I call the lack of popularity of training the skills. Cuz we all know that the lamps is the one thing that makes people spin, as the rest is of the wheel is either useless or terribly rare (unless you happen to be F2P, then you get the good stuff all the time)... PS: Is it me, or did I pay membership to get away from ads and popups? If so, why am I still getting "requests" to buy more spins in-game by having that annoying goblin on my screen every time I log in? Is Jagex misinforming me about a product?

Botting is not legal (and sort of not possible), but buying spins is. Other than that, there is no difference between them, reliability wise, and unfair xp-gain wise... So anyone wishing 100% sure to hang on to his account, would choose spins over bots... That said; I don't like the SoF, period. It simply doesn't belong in the atmosphere of RuneScape. I would infact argue, that SoF is the advertisement and/or commercial that annoyingly disrupts the movie that is RuneScape that I have been enjoying for the past decade... Which is why I wonder where I can rip RuneScape in DVD quality from ;)

TBH, guys... Stop fretting and whining about... Seriously... No, I mean it! This was a teaser, much like the Strange Power was for Dungeoneering, or, as mentioned, ghosts for Summer's quest series... Both were updates that were not expected... It was also like the chunks of castle found all over RS (as well as an occasionally burnt chicken), a teaser for Citadels, something we DID know was coming... You know what people did back then? Exactly the same thing you guys are doing now: Whining and screaming and crying like babies... Only they didn't do it because they didn't like what they got, but they did it cuz they missed some of the events in question... The "OMG I WUZ WANTING TO SEE DA STINCH POWAH TOO!!!" idiots are the same as the idiots that now cry dissapointment with their "IS THIS IT? I WANT MY 15 MINUTES BACK!"... Granted, something that says "See the Future" could set you up for a whole bunch of dissapointment, but Jagex threw you a bone by announcing when and where this teaser would happen so noone would have to miss it... If you've read the devblog (yes, why inform yourself these days :rolleyes: ) you knew RuneSpan is going to be big enough to be teaser-worthy. If you expected anything else, or even expected to be able to play RuneSpan right away, YOU are being the moron... Now can we get back on topic and discuss the RuneSpan, and leave the whining at the door? This isn't the RSoF...

Found another epic fail... They say the requirement of one of the Saga's is 65 dung, but the item you need to find is only on the occult floors... For which you need 71... Oh and: bullcrap SoF justification ofc...

Not more portals... I already found it to be cheap no-lore ways to get to soulwars, for example...
