  1. Wireless internet and gaming (online gaming that is) aren't the best of friends. Since its wireless you can have issues with drop-out, bad signal and interference. If your brother is serious about gaming (online) then I would highly recommend you use a wire connection, I've tried the how wireless gaming thing and it sucks. I lost tons of games and had really bad ping due to it (its fine for runescape and browser based games), switched to a ired (its a bit more messy) and never looked back.
  2. Time to start annoying the hell out of you guys Norton actually got there act together with 360 and the latest release, it now uses far less resources (35mb of ram if I remember rightly) as well as still having the high detection and quick response times it used to have. Which means its now up there with NOD32 and Kaspersky in the rankings. \ So don't switch and lose out on a better package (then any free product). As for the issue I honestly have no idea, your best bet would be to either read through the manual or submit a information/help request.
  3. At 52 terrorbird is the one you'll be using the most. Pryelord helps with assists and as a nice booster while firemaking. Beaver helps with woodcutting. Granite card with fishing. Magpie if your skilling (and don't need to run or use any of the other familiars) Combat wise, bloated leech is the best, but hold of until 57/58 before you start using combat familiars as they are a lot of hassle for little below 57. Void spinner IMO is better replaced with a terrorbird full of monfish since it heals more and costs less.
  4. Full rune, with fremmy helm, rune boots and obby or granite shield. Use the DDS spec to weaken and poison him then switch to your main weapon. Like I said take a super set (super attack, super strength and super defence) to boost your stats (you'll hit him more and he'll miss you more). Remember to pray protect from range and take some decent food like monkfish.
  5. Humidify, is an option. Never tried it myself though.
  6. I've not tried it, but I would guess yes since familiars seem to be able to hit them.
  7. You should be able to do it with your stats, just use a super set, protect range and take 5 super energies and lots of good food.
  8. I believe there are meant to be better then whip for the metal dragons (iron and above, due to its high stab bonus and it being 1 handed). Not sure about any other bosses though.
  9. Bandos top and bottoms, dragon boots and the fremmy isles helm. The extra bonus' (strength and prayer) of the top and bottom counter the slightly lower defence bonus'.
  10. If you go down the prayer route this is my setup. Sara mitre Zammy stole Monk-robe top Black d'hide chaps Snakeskin boots Ava's Accumulator Rune c'bow Unholy book (in truth I use Guthix, but I'm in the process of buying the zammy pages). Black d'hide vamps Ring of Wealth (debatable whether you use life, wealth or archer) Broad bolts Inventory 500 fire runes and 100 nature runes 1 coin (space saver) 1 monkfish (emergency food) Holy Wrench 3 ranging potions 2 Karamthulhu overlord pouches (+1 summoned at the bank before you go) 1 summoning potion (2 doses is better as you can drop it once you've summoned the last pouch) 1 addy bar (noted) And the rest prayer potions. Since you use 2 laws and 2 fires to tele to trollwisse (sp?) you get a free space to start with. I can last about 2 hours with this setup, but I normally get bored just after an hour. The karamthulhu overlord's help a great deal speeding up the kills and increasing the exp per hour. Since your not wearing a [forgot the name] item they auto attack you which is great since you don't need to worry about food (again this increases your kills per hour as well as you profit per hour), the only trouble with this is that you can't go into there area and must stick to the zammy/sara aviansie area(s). Personally I find the prayer method a lot less hassle and much easier. PS. This is a nice guide/review of the profits made per hour there with the different techniques.
  11. I'm with Nadril on this one, Why re-install the OS so often? Anyway the only games which are folder copy and paste-able are Steam games (I've done this before, but I wouldn't really recommend it) and games which are designed to run from external devices (flash-drives etc.).
  12. I love Sumona's tasks. So far I've had lots of nice tasks as well as lots of nice drops. Although I would hold of using her until you have got the slayer helm as a lot of her tasks allow you to make use of the poli dungeon.
  13. P2P or F2P? P2P, fire runes with rings of duelling till 44 (or 40 if you have done Lunar Dip, in which case Astrals till 44). 44+ nats (use a Graak if you can). F2P, airs. With the fires and airs always wear Explorer Ring as you get extra exp and runes per trip.
  14. Use them when firemaking, they add a small bonus exp when lighting the log(s) which you used it on.

Anyone else watched it? I love it, one of the best/weirdest programs I've ever watched. It always kept you interested, had one of the most twisting plots and some of the best characters I've seen in a program. Its a real shame it only had 2 seasons.
  16. Broads are ideal.
  17. You could always use make glass, then either sell the molten glass for more supplies or create orbs and make battle staffs. You can actually make a fair bit of money doing this, plus you get your magic exp.
  18. Depends on the type of drunk and the location. But generally; Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams Poison - Alice Cooper Anything by Bon Jovi For some reason the more I drink the more I want to sing, "Take Me Home, Country Roads". (Damn the pub which started it off.) The thing that annoyes me is there ins't enough bars/clubs/parties which play the above songs, you always have to request them. Even though more people will dance/sing to them then the "dance music" stuff (or is that just my family and friends?).
  19. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-aliasing Simple and sweet answer is it smooths the graphics together nicer and makes them more clearer.
  20. Looks like a nice structure. I would set a cookie when they choose the language so you can auto re-direct them to the correct language if they visit again.
  21. I just looked over a few pages and they show that a RGB LED is simply one unit with 3 LED's inside (1 Red, 1 Blue and 1 Green). They use (what looks like) a 3 way variable resister to modify the amounts of each colour, allowing you to change the outputted colour. Nice link with a detailed image on how it works.

A quick glance at tip.its db shows General trolls and undead trolls drop charms. The best for slayer are ice trolls, a cannon and a familiar.
  23. Hosting it via a server online is going to be tricky as for security reasons most standard hosts will not allow this. To do this you'll need to either use a PC, which you own or have direct access to, and use it as your server or rent/purchase a dedicated server (pretty damn expensive). You keep saying you want this to be a simple project, but its not. The simple option would be to create a client for an existing protocol, not creating your own.
  24. [/hide] WOW! He's using part void- useless with-out the helm, and a slayer helmet- again useless for range. That's probably the dumbest yet. Is that a salve ammy or unholy symbol I see? Looks like he's wearing dragon boots too.... That is a truly epic fail.
  25. in the GE, its called Toktz-xil-ak
