Public Nudity
I wouldn't mind knowing where this "sexuality" came from...Oh wait forget I even said that! :P  I think you'd know what I'd say. :P Even without coming to that I could make an observation and say we've always had that sexulaity.

Avril Lavigne
That's about all I have to say about her as well be honest.

Public Nudity
I'd dispute that. There are evolutionary privaleges to a mental attraction to the opposite sex and a fascination of breasts of both sexes can be explained. Nice large, round female breasts ultimately means lots of healthy babies due to lots of healthy milk which is a sign of biological fitness of the mother. Sculpted male breasts means good muscle tone and mass which adds to biological fitness and ability of the father to pass on genes. Just my perspective. Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant to say the reality is that what makes female breasts and not male breasts "inherently sexual" is actually just a social construction. No doubt a huge emphasis is placed on the sexuality of female breasts through society. It's very possible that this has added to or taken to the extreme the evolutionary aspect I was talking about. I suppose the point I was making is that the sexuality was there in the first place, probably just no where near to the extent it is today.

Have you seen any celeberties?
Yes it is :) And I work for BCF; just a lowly retail floor preson. But my store has had the Creek to Coast crew turn up to buy stuff a lot of times :P You wouldn't believe the number of celebs you run into at the camping show sometimes. Jun 6-12 at the RNA if you didn't know that already ;) Ah, suddenly the creek to coast, great south east type shows make more sense. :P

Emission Reduction?
I'd hope it's a bit more than a fad, for everyone's sake.

Emission Reduction?
There'd be some truth in saying politicians look for these things in this order: 1) Votes 2) The country They'll eventually get a slap in the face when by every measure we have, there'll be 20 years fossil fuels left.

Public Nudity
No, female breasts and male breasts are most certainly not the same thing. But what makes one inherently sexual (and thus unacceptable for other people to see) and the other not? Both can be stimulated during sexual activity in an enjoyable way, so that's not it. Both can be found attractive to look at, so that's not it. Female breasts and male breasts are not the same thing, but them being different doesn't mean we should have different standards about what is considered okay for public exposure. The reality is that what makes female breasts "inherently sexual" is actually just a social construction. People think of female breasts as sexual because we've grown up in a society where their sexualness is emphasized. Your gut reaction might be "that's not true..." but I genuinely believe you have that gut reaction in you as a result of cultural forces you've grown up being exposed to. I think that both female and male breasts can be appreciated in both a sexual and a nonsexual way. And are you speaking from experience? I highly doubt it, because if you were, you'd be saying something else.

The biggest bandwagon in the world
You know, I've never heard an oil company actually acknowledge that oil will be gone someday. I hear the "There is enough oil that we know of to last for 150 years and we're always finding more etc etc etc, we're fine, kkthnxinvestinusbye" thing. where did you hear that? I heard we have less than 50 years :? anyway, global warming is just one example, and not really the main point of what I was saying. My problem is the way we are no longer allowed to question, anyone who decides to question something and threaten someone reputation is automatically labeled as an ignorant idiot, and someone nobody should listen to. The politicians don't give a crap about global warming, they just want bigger paychecks, and win the next election. That's why this is happening, and nobody is any longer allowed to question. What if something goes wrong? what if we take the wrong step in "cleaning our environment"? What if something goes wrong outside of global warming? and we banish anyone who might try to warn us? What will our children think of us 30 years from now, after we screwed up very bad because of this political game? I think we need to stop worrying about global warming, the war in the middle east, terrorism, ect.. for just one minute, and look at ourselves as a society, for just one minute. Maybe we might just find the root of all of our problems. If skeptics are so sure about thier position and they want to have merit then they'll have to stop whining and actually do something to have thier voice heard. A good, ney, neccessary step to take would be to write a scientific peer reviewed journal on thier position which actually contains conclusive and sound science. This may sound harsh but if they want to bicker and whine about being silenced because thier opinion was put down, then they really should get thier crap together and think about getting to work on a sound scientific theory.

The biggest bandwagon in the world
All those extra tax we have to pay for out flight tickets and environment tax are pretty negative IMO. I'd say a world wide depression or economy eradication because we didn't plan to run out of oil or coal is pretty negative too...

The biggest bandwagon in the world
I CH4's Doc's but they are always very biased. Most TV Doc's are though. Even the likes of Panorama and Horizon on the beeb. Global warming is a massive bandwagon. Every politician has the badge. it's massive hype has even lead to (or greatly accelerated) the development of hybrid cars such as the Toyata Prius. While GW is massively hyped up. And although I am sick of seeing "climate change" and "global warming" i think there is a reasonable problem with the sustainability of our lifestyles on this planet. Thank rationality for you, my friend. Someone, anyone tell me what benefit there is to be skeptical of cleaning up the atmosphere and working to assure future sustainability? Or do people just like being difficult? I'm not saying don't question the theory, but saying, as the bloke above you did, that it isn't happening at all? Please. Could the guy 2 posts up, spy13, please explain why your position isn't a futile one? Could you explain why trying to ensure the sustainability and the viability of the human race is bad?

The biggest bandwagon in the world
Perhaps it has something to do with mars's atmospere having a much higher % of CO2. Just speculating... But as you say, there's nothing really all that wrong with trying to clean up the environment. I repeat, "Mars is *heating up*", not "Mars is hotter". Mars could indeed have a higher percentage of Co2, but that is irrelevant, considering it is actively rising, and there is nothing on Mars to actively raise Co2 levels. Not sure if there are even active volcanoes on Mars, but if there is, you can't place the blame there, otherwise the "cars are doing it" for Earth goes out the window anyways. Of course. My mistake. I wouldn't have an explanation for that, then. It dosen't change my position that all climate change skeptics position is futile in regards to existing in a sustainable ecosystem as a sustainable species. It just annoys me at times when some people will always try to shove blame as if they are guilty but propose no solutions or even worse act as if everything is fine. Futile, useless position. Just to be clear when I say climate change skeptics, I'm not referring to you, Tigra; rather it's a general statement.

Why?
Hmm, that sucks mate. Sorry to hear about your loss. I could write something more profound or comforting but, as wierd as it sounds, no one close to me has died within my lifetime (18); never been to a funeral. Guess that'll change one day... Again, death is just another part of life. From what you told us, it seems he was a very lucky guy and therefore had more of a chnace to be part of your life. :)

My New Favorite Truck!
Dude, stop being a spelling nazi when you can't write "as well" yourself. You're a joke. The truck looks a bit..odd. It's like a truck version of a Smart. What was your 'old' favorite truck? Haha, I found that funnier. 'Get a spell check, oh, and, uhh, is this the right spelling?' Lol. Dude I don't have MS word on this computer. And Notepad does not include a spellchecker. Oh and my spelling was correct after all, I just wasn't too sure. Can't you see the hipocrisy here? I think you can seeing as you're quick to divert attention from it and get back on topic. It's kind of annoying to be honest.

The biggest bandwagon in the world
You see, it may be harsh to us, but in the media spotlight, this figurehead, the head of the organisation, is saying things counter to what his many subordinates are. I'd say it's not so much science trying to shut him up, but the organisation going into damage control to make sure they don't look like idiots. Anyway I'm all for presenting alternative views but his were no where near comprehensive or through a scientific medium.

Have you seen any celeberties?
I met Lamb of God (American metal band) at a signing here in Brisbane. Nice blokes (Chris Adler - Drummer is possibly one of the nicest people I've met) but as you'd imagine, not much time to chat.

Would you kill?...
If I can't go to either? I think I'd rather like that. Eternal rest.

energy company cuts off families power
Either power companies need a register of people who need continuous power for health conditions of the government gives them a back up generator (or they get it themselves, but bugger that, the government can do it :P ).
