  1. Anyone interested in doing this? We could always submit it to TET.
  2. You could always do Shade Slaying and build the temple. It's decent experience and the higher you are, the more experience you get. Also I ALWAYS come out with a huge profit if I make Sacred Oils and then burn Shades (Asyns would be best). I've gotten quite a few levels from the temple.
  3. It's a secret :-$ . Join the forums and you'll be able to find out
  4. Two things. First off the Level 90+ group will eventually letting go of their level requirement and those with high range or magic stats will be allowed to join. Secondly reading over the doctrine of the group I must go ahead and say, go for it! Everyone deserves a chance to have a successful Pest Control Game. Go for it, make your group, keep it organized and I wish you the best of luck.
  5. Gotta emphasize register in the other forum! Once you do you can find other people who are online at the time you're online.
  6. Really? You've got to give about a week for events to happen! Why don't you editify your post and then throw in some pics and make this a happening party! This sounds really funny and would be a chance for a lot of Tip people to hang out. Try it again but make it later so it can be more hyped up and use the World Clock to give all of the timezones.
  7. Yes, we only really need one group for this. The level 90+ requirement isn't all too hard. Also there is some lenience on the needed level. I'm sure we can fit some people in that are above level 80.
  8. Breaking Rule 8? :shame: Just wondering that's all, not accsuing. :-k Do you consider logging off of one account and then logging into another Multiple logging? How did you even take it that way? When your mine over 20,000 Rune Essence it gets pretty dull so I have to do something for a break, I can't PK worth beans on my main account so I created another one. How in the world did you take it as breaking a rule? I wasn't even transfering items between the accounts. So confused now.
  9. Pretty Snazzy after reading all of the other posts, I too thought it was Real life trading for RS items. But fortunately it was cleared up. Try being less vague in your topics? But you're not to blame, I guess it's the natural way for us to be negative and malevolent towards someones idea if it even hints at something "against the rules" . Off-Topic: Did anyone else notice that despite people saying that it was Spam or breaking Jagex's rules that the post was NOT reported via the little "!" button? Just go to show how often people use the report button.
  10. Well I made a "Pure" for the sake of I was bored of Rune Essence mining. It was fun getting levels like crazy just fighting Goblins and Chickens. I mined, I smithed, I fished, all of this to make myself somewhat independent. I basically stopped working on that account and now I consider it a backup in case I ever get banned (Just FYI 0 Black Marks or any reports against me. I don't think I'll be needing that extra account anytime soon :P ). But starting over is intriguing for the first couple of days when you're gaining levels really fast and you are moving quickly, but eventually you'll realize that you could be fighting the Kalphite Queen or the King Black Dragon in hopes of making another million instead of scrounging every single coin you find laying on the floor.
  11. Each quest is different and requires different items during the quest. Your best bet is to research the quests that you WANT to do and then gather up the items beforehand. That's the best way to do it. Also if you are using Tip's guide be sure you read it over once BEFORE you start the quest and read it while going along the quest as sometimes the guides are confusing or are missing a part (missing parts is very rare and has never happened to me but others say it has happened  ). That's your best bet. You cannot really knock down a bunch of quests with the same items as generally there's more to be done in a quest then go to point A to point B use item with Object C.
  12. That is truly amazing! On a MONDAY too. I guess there are more people playing during Lunch time than ever. That's why I'm slowly becoming nocturnal and allowing myself to play at minimum hours. When I get 85 Mining it'll be a very nice way of collecting Rune ore for it :D
  13. That is the were the secret and the beauty of this idea. There is no real "set" world but the world changes and can be done so discreetly as well. You'll never know unless you're one of us  .
  14. The 1 to 5 kills is right, but I wouldn't go off and go right after the monsters, I'd just kill them as they came along. I've gotten a couple bones from monsters I didn't even realize I had to kill. It's a nice surprise when one drops and you remember that you can do that part of the quest if you want. Once you get yourself to a position where you've got a majority of them from just regular ol' combat you could then try to get it all done. That's what I'll be planning on doing.
  15. Dang! That was WAY more detailed than I could of thought up. Good job! You've apparently had some time to think about it
  16. A general idea of what player should do what would be good. Basically divide us up into groups beforehand and we stick with each other and play to each others abilities. Such as one group consists of a bunch of random people put together, we stick with these groups and if there is problem with the group then changes would happen to make it more effective. These groups aught to then develop their own strategies for reaching their objective such as if one person is a decent mage, they sit up at the towers and mage the portals, then one person comes along with them up to who mages but is there primarily to defend the mage from taking all too much damage. There are so many possiblities to this if you be creative as well as intelligent about how you manage things. If people can work together and be a team (redundant eh?) then the game will be won and this will be a success.
  17. Well I have yet to beat the Quest (Darn requirements!) but if I COULD fish Monkfish I would be there in a second. From what I've heard it's the ultimate fish. Great healing, very fast to get and thus fast experience! Lobsters will take the tail end of my fishing priorities (yes, pun intended... get it...tail... lobster... bah! Wasted! ) when I can get Monkfish.
  18. Wow.... 3 Months and you achieved more than I did in probably two years :? . Well godspeed and you never know, you might come back, very smart for you to have saved some items.
  19. Technically you get few Rune Items (i.e. Rune Med, Chain, and (short)Swords) from the lower silver keys which only require Yew Pyre Logs which require level 65 firemaking! You should do all your temple building on World 59 fyi  Personally, Firemaking is going to be my first 99 skill and I'll be making money off of it as I do the Shade Burning and gather keys and what not. Any skill is only important if you think it is.

Unfortunately you're somewhat correct. Random Events are used to stop Autoers when they are first released, but because the designers are resilient and thus bounce back with updates and new programs to avoid the events. As more and more random events come out I think Jagex tries to make these autoers think it's not worth cheating like this if they have to update their software running the risk of getting their account banned and their computer damaged by viruses from various shady sites they might go in search of programs. They said something similar to that when they did their first of several mass bannings. Jagex knows that an autoer can just make a brand new account and start anew, but they try to make that so much of a hassle for them that eventually they'll give up and play legit. I personally think that it works in many cases, but there are other times that it doesn't work and more autoers are created. It's a 50-50 chance of success I'd say.
  21. Hey, you should also post this on the ARSCV forums as well. A bunch of old RSC players aught to be fairly high leveled. I'm glad someone has decided to do this and I would most definetly join IF I were the appropriate combat level (Only two levels away :( ). Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, this is a great idea and has real merit. If it can be held only for your group and not have a horde of other players invade it then it'll be great. Keep your standards, don't let people less than 90 in, otherwise it ruins the idea.
  22. Well since the idea of it being the premier world to go to and do Pest Control, obviously the bottom of the barrel players would show up and leech off of the higher players. Looks like we've got to find a new world and this time make it like the Underground Farm TELL NO ONE! It'd have to be one big secret shared by higher levels and hopefully only the higher ups that were trustworthy to only tell other high level and trustworthy people. There was a group gathering together on here but I haven't seen much from it, but maybe their following the plan to the letter
  23. First off age is an important thing here. Secondly you're the only one here that knows your parents, knows their moods, their attitudes, their dispositions towards things involving money. You're the only one that can really answer this question. Our ideas may help but it's up to you to finally make a decision on how to work with your parents. If you consider saving up $15 a great deal and a triumph over your financial situation then you're slightly in over your head (no offense). Your parents may be leery of allowing their child to surf the 'net and interact with unknown people from across the globe. My advice to you is to be yourself and if your parents think you deserve it they will let you. Some may say prove that you are responsible, but that is something that can be proven only through a long course of time and there is not sufficient time for you to become responsible (at least in your parents eyes) during the summer months. Just wait it out, bring it up occasionally when they are in a good mood, never press the subject, never whine about it, simply pick it up in a casual conversation. You acting out of the ordinary will probably only deceive your parents for a short time and even raise the bar of how much your parents would expect of you the next time you wish to become a member. So be yourself and don't push it, just be patient and if membership is coming your way, then it'll show up, if not, then enjoy the F2P world, there's still much to master out there.
  24. Hmm... let me think about that for a while :P Alright, with the words of confidence you guys have given I'll probably train a few more Strength levels and prayer a bit higher (Got Shades to burn  ) and then go for it, I would rather be overprepared than underprepared. Thanks everyone.
  25. Well let's look at it this way. More and more people reach the levels where they can kill Dust Devils, the KBD, and the KQ. The more people who are slaying them, the more likely a chain is to be introduced into the world. The Chain still signifies something great about you, that you've made your millions, that you're an amazing combatant. Now the only problem with it is that there are more powerful armor out there which shows that you are either incredibly rich to afford it all, very lucky to have gotten it all, AND that you are very rich to be actively using it. Barrows armor is shown to be better because it has a higher requirement (granted just because something has a higher price tag doesn't always mean it is better, but in this case it holds true). I myself will probably never advance beyond a Rune plate unless a Dragon chain is received as a drop for myself or I one day decide that I want to do some Barrows and I end up with full Barrows armor (I can't even name all of the brothers!) Rune Plate also "Meant" something back in the day but better armors and better quests were released which basically devalued Runite armor to something that level 40 players were receiving easily. Whenever I see someone walking down the streets with Dragon Chain I do not stop and go "Wowwy! I sure wish I had that! Boy I sure do envy that person." There are more important things than just their armor (such as combat level, other stats, and attitude). Perhaps it could be because we've experienced this game to such a level and gained such a knowledge to know that Dragon Chain isn't that great of a piece of equipment, perhaps we've grown accustomed to seeing it being worn by every Tom and Harry walking around Falador Park. Whatever the real reason for it I simply know that seeing Dragon Chain does not give me a thrill or a zeal for the game and a desire to posses it as it would have when I first began to play the game. 1000 Posts! It feels good!
