Well.. For one thing, American soccer just isn't as dominant as American sports are over the rest of the world. Second, there is little to no scoring in a match. Third, its roots aren't American, so we aren't quite as into it as we are into homegrown sports like baseball, basketball, and American football. EDIT: OH! The constant falling over then getting right back up thing gets really old, really fast.

Forced marriage is pretty much taking away freedom. Not that some of them don't work out well, but I'm sure that the majority are not happy marriages that society loves. It is taking away the freedom to choose who to spend your life with, your options with your time, not to mention the reasons that parents would want to force their children into marriage.
