Were/are you effected by the ice storm of 2007?

Featured Replies

Currently the mid USA is undergoing a huge ice storm. Leaving thousands without power, and has already killed 6 people.

thanks everyone for the sigs!

It just rained a ton here. Not cold enough to ice. It did affect me though, it made work absolutely horrible today. I came home with mud in places I didn't even know existed. And there is still more rain to come...

Well... in Colorado we've had loads of snow, and it only seems to snow when I have something planned. :? Anyway, I've done tons of sledding and snowball fights, so it's been pretty fun.

Last time I checked, it was 4 degrees outside. Not really a lot of anything yet, but I hope we get a few more feet. :D

Meh, we haven't gotten snow yet. We never get snow this year. :P

Yesturday (Jan 12) it snowed in the Inland Empire for the FIRST time in history. \' *Note this place is a desert, barely even rains here. Highs in 110F in summer and winter lows are usally 40F.

YES, I'm from Missouri and our city has been declared a disaster area, with about 60% of its residents without power. Where I am though, nothing really exciting has happened. We had power pretty much all day, with occasional flickers. I went out and drove around a bit, and there is ice on all the trees, and a lot them have fallen down, blocking some roads. Its pretty crazy. I hear it is even worse up north from where I live, which sucks cause thats where most of the poor people live. But then it is also where my school is....damage? :anxious:

I hear that a lot of shelters and hotels have been all booked up too. This is pretty exciting, but nothing is happening to me, I guess that is good, but it is kinda boring. :|

Nick, your map...Pasadena is where GOD LIVES.

Jeez, it's unbelieveable, but it is currently -2 degrees here in Nevada. It's been crazy.

Depends where you live, I live in Vancouver, BC (Go Canucks!:P) Right now we're having an Arctic Cold Spell like -7 Celsius. It snowed a bit and they didn't even close the darn school :(

Good Luck and hope you guys survive! (just saw the report on cnn) <3:

I united Mongolia, sent my Mongol Horde across Asia and made it to Europe...

Then my mom vacuumed the room, turned off the Genesis and thus ended my hopes of world conquest.

Hehe, I'm temporarily right where you are for university reasons. It's freezing out here too. It snowed, but didn't stay for long sadly. I missed it too because I was asleep lol!
