January 13, 200719 yr Currently the mid USA is undergoing a huge ice storm. Leaving thousands without power, and has already killed 6 people. Are you effected by this storm? Me doing staff.
January 14, 200719 yr No, its on average 70-80 degrees here. Christmas had a high of 78 i think. thanks everyone for the sigs!
January 14, 200719 yr It just rained a ton here. Not cold enough to ice. It did affect me though, it made work absolutely horrible today. I came home with mud in places I didn't even know existed. And there is still more rain to come...

January 14, 200719 yr Theres some snow and the roads were pretty iced over, but its not that bad here in Kansas, though I heard in southern Missouri, where my girlfriend lives, got hit pretty bad. ~^v^~Ex-Leader of the Divine Flames of Redemption~^v^~
January 14, 200719 yr Well... in Colorado we've had loads of snow, and it only seems to snow when I have something planned. :? Anyway, I've done tons of sledding and snowball fights, so it's been pretty fun. Last time I checked, it was 4 degrees outside. Not really a lot of anything yet, but I hope we get a few more feet. :D
January 14, 200719 yr Meh, we haven't gotten snow yet. We never get snow this year. :P It is supposed to be cold this week though. So maybe we'll get some. Only once, have I not gotten a single day off from school :P
January 14, 200719 yr Yesturday (Jan 12) it snowed in the Inland Empire for the FIRST time in history. \ *Note this place is a desert, barely even rains here. Highs in 110F in summer and winter lows are usally 40F. A map to know where the IE is, in Los Angeles it didn't snow. :P Snowed about 2-3 inches in the morning and had the frist ever snowball fight in school-ever. : But it melted after 2nd period And today I played a soccer game in 35F weather. :uhh: No snow though. :P "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
January 14, 200719 yr YES, I'm from Missouri and our city has been declared a disaster area, with about 60% of its residents without power. Where I am though, nothing really exciting has happened. We had power pretty much all day, with occasional flickers. I went out and drove around a bit, and there is ice on all the trees, and a lot them have fallen down, blocking some roads. Its pretty crazy. I hear it is even worse up north from where I live, which sucks cause thats where most of the poor people live. But then it is also where my school is....damage? :anxious: I hear that a lot of shelters and hotels have been all booked up too. This is pretty exciting, but nothing is happening to me, I guess that is good, but it is kinda boring. :|
January 14, 200719 yr Jeez, it's unbelieveable, but it is currently -2 degrees here in Nevada. It's been crazy. I <3 Gears of War 2. Add me on Xbox Live and mention you are from Tif :D
January 14, 200719 yr OT: Nick, your map...Pasadena is where GOD LIVES. Ya I know, we hang out together sometimes. :D "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
January 14, 200719 yr Depends where you live, I live in Vancouver, BC (Go Canucks!:P) Right now we're having an Arctic Cold Spell like -7 Celsius. It snowed a bit and they didn't even close the darn school :( Good Luck and hope you guys survive! (just saw the report on cnn) I united Mongolia, sent my Mongol Horde across Asia and made it to Europe... Then my mom vacuumed the room, turned off the Genesis and thus ended my hopes of world conquest.

It's freezing out here too. It snowed, but didn't stay for long sadly. I missed it too because I was asleep lol!
