What impact does BH have on some items?
Astral Runes were sellable for nearly 200gp each 2 days ago. Now you need to wait a long time just to sell at min.

Chart comparing old and new RuneScape rules
Multi log is prob removed cause it doesnt harm the game in anyway. Since the interaction between two accounts that belong to the same player is so limited now (Trade limit, drop trade limit) there is no real way to make 2 account to pump money into one single main. In other words, before RWT update, some people made slave accounts for their main. That is why multi log was against the rules. Now if people want to train two account at the same time (main/pure), it is mainly for their own entertainment.

Ah... Pking
[hide=Official rules of Pking]OFFICIAL RULES OF PEE-KAYING 1. Make sure you call the other person a noob, it will boost your e-rep and make you look older than 7. 2. Make sure to insult the other guy if they hit big. If your insult is good enough, the other person just might bow his head in shame and let you kill him. 3. All people in the internet is male. Girls are just a figment of your imagination. 4. If you see someone eat, they are officially a noob for using a strategy built into the game by developers. 5. If someone is higher combat than you, said person is a no lifer. 6. If someone is lower combat than you, said person a noob 7. If someone is the same combat as you, said person is a noob because you are obviously at the center of the universe and no one can possibly match your e-proness. 8. If someone is beating you, call them a noob to distract them and run away, if you are fast enough noone will see and your e-rep will stay intact 9. Strength is the only skill within the game. Anyone that trains defense is an automatic noob. 10. You are the center of the universe, there is absolutely no one better or more intelligent than you because everyone around you is n00bz0rzzzzzzzzzz.[/hide] That about sums it up.

6th May 2009 - Bounty Hunter Wilderness-only PvP
I literaly "evil laughed" out loud when i read this! Blitz/D claws or Ags? This update depending on how evil Jagex was feeling at the time will either make me lol or make me go streaking in a pvp world watching all the drop potential builders get ko'd ^_^

Non-traditional sources of raw materials
Aviansie for addy bars is probably the most famous example of this. I think almost no one other than f2p really smelt addy bars anymore due to this.

Fletching, firemaking and cooking - Skillcapes of dirt?
I found it harder to get 99 Firemaking compared to 99 Prayer. Anyone that clicked their way to 99 Firemaking deserves my props. Can't say the same thing about Cooking and Fletching though. PS - Thieving with Pyramid Plunder is beginning to join the ranks of Cooking, Fletching, and Firemaking as well.

What would it take to kill the Runescape Economy?
The current RS economy closely resembles the policy implemented at China. Limited free trade. Price floor and ceilings on all the items and limited price changes on items. It all comes down to can Jagex predict where the equilibrium price for every item are. Also, merchant clans provide a major inconvenience. Although it will not "kill" the economy per say, it will cause lags in certain parts of the economy. Would be great if people can get rid of them. My main wish is just for Jagex to remove the price ceiling/floors and perhaps allow for more movement of prices with items.

Tip.It Times: 3 May 2009
Nice read on the first article, Jagex made some minor improvements that made a lot of things less complicated. Did the second article factor in the increased speed of the Zanik bow compared to Rune Xbow? The super cheap cost of bone bolts + increased speed could possibly push Zanik bow over the Rune Xbow with Broad option. Mithril bolts shouldn't have even been compared as they are honestly obsolete.

farming record?
Average 7-9. Best was 15. I'm talking snapdragons though.

YOU vs. Mediocrity
I believe I am not the average 'scaper. My friends consider me to be a walking encyclopedia of RS quest/history. I am also an insane minigame addict. Noncombat stats are much more important than combat stats in my opinion. Also, I am extremely impulsive. One day I would be training for 99 agility, the next day I would want to train for 99 mining. Although, I always do have a long term goal in the back of my head that I am constantly making sure that I do. At the moment 99 runecraft mainly because GOP is my favorite minigame at the moment. I have not GWD hunted in a long long time. My main combat activity comes with slayer and I have visited a PvP world only once to visit a friend and watch him "own" (he was killed by an AGS spec. I lol'd)

How fast can you reach a million?
GOP. 1m in about 2.5 hrs by selling the P ess I would get with tokens >.> Exactly what I was thinking, even if I can't actually do this. Rune mining is like what, 800k an hour? That's definitely the fastest way. You're forgetting the fact that a bunch of people would steal your ore. Half the time rune rocks are empty I believe.

Mysteries of the Mahjarrat [WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]
WHOA! gone for one day and glad to see all the inputs from everyone. Thanks. I corrected the Mahjarrat sacrificial ritual along with the speculation of Silske. The truth is, many people have already accepted Silske as the Mahjarrat to have corrupted the Barrows brothers. In fact this was the first time I have seen someone disagree with that. Nonetheless I'll mark it as a speculation. I'm a little busy at the moment so I'll read over everyone's comments later and update the post better.

Mysteries of the Mahjarrat [WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]
After talking with Juna, besides the dialogues that we gain after WGS, there isn't anything new. Nonetheless, I'll post that info here and see if anyone can make more sense of it: -Zanik is now an enemy to all gods. -The player is still under at least the favor of Guthix for further use. -After telling story: Akthanakos and Enakhra's continued battle to the north, Juna warns that two powerful beings battling will be extremely dangerous -After telling story: Learning Ancients, Juna warns of origins of the spells -After telling story: Digsite, Juna reveals that Zaros was near forgotten even before she began guarding the tears. -After telling story: Defender of Varrock, no response. -After telling story: Underground Pass, no response. -After telling story: Agrith-Naar? we learn he was banned by Guthix but found a way around the ban

Mysteries of the Mahjarrat [WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]
I told Ali that Lucien has the Staff of Armadyl and the Stone of Jas. He is suspicious of what Lucien wants to accomplish.

Mysteries of the Mahjarrat [WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]
It could very well tie in with WGS. Remember, the first quest that introduced you to Lucien was a pathetically easy quest. Now this is a Mahjarrat that possibly is the first to arrive on the "place to the north". If that is the case, he will have a significant advantage.

Mysteries of the Mahjarrat [WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]
Could be true. Ali the Wise did tell us that perhaps not all Mahjarrat is evil.

Mysteries of the Mahjarrat [WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]
I already visited the historian, he just wants the location of the statue and gives a 200xp lamp. Really frustrating he STILL can't find the yeti.

Mysteries of the Mahjarrat [WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]
The newest quest that was released by Runescape today was called The Tales of the Muspah. Despite the low level requirements, it actually deal with something very interesting. I recommend all high levels not to frown on the requirements and do this quest. It is completely worth your while. [hide=spoilers]The quest reveals a new Mahjarrat: Jhallan. He reveals some interesting facts to add to the list of trivia dealing with the Mahjarrat. We learn from him/this quest: -Mahjarrats are weakend greatly by the power to transform -Mahjarrat can not only transform into animals (Akthanakos) but can transform into Mythical creatures that aren't even suppose to exist. -The statue of the Muspah found in the desert closely resembles the statues found in Stealing Creation. -Ali the Wise tells us after the quest that this place up north may be the place that you finally help Jhallan to hibernate. -The Muspah is a creature from Mahjarrat myths -The Mahjarrats fight and sacrifice the loser as part of a rejuvenation ritual that gives power back to the surviving Mahjarats (Paw_Claw) -A quick chat option has been added today to the "Can you help me with quest: Mysteries of the Mahjarrat. (Possible original title of the quest Tales of the Muspah) -The Wilderness was a paradise at one point (life_mage12)[/hide] What does this all mean? I will continue to update this thread with more facts I find about the Mahjarrat as our quest to stop Lucien (and get that steroid boost from the Stone of Jas) continues >=). Post Bag Hints: [/hide] Also the Chaos Elementals hints for Tale of the Muspah [hide=post bag 36 and 39] [/hide] So of those who we have not met / have yet to meet we know that: - Ralvash was the last to be sacrificed for the ritual and before him were Mizzarch and Lamistard. - Kharshai may still be alive or imprisoned somewhere - Sliske is still active [hide=Juna's Inputs]-Zanik is now an enemy to all gods. -After telling story: Agrith-Naar? we learn he was banned by Guthix but found a way around the ban[/hide] [hide=Known Mahjarrats]-Zamorak - Gained power to godhood with the aid of the Staff of Armadyl and the Stone of Jas. -Lucien - Primary antagonist in the While Guthix Sleeps story line. Currently holds the Staff of Armadyl and the Stone of Jas. -Akthanakos - Rescued during Enakhra's Lement. Close relation with camels. One of the last Mahjarrat to still follow Zaros. -Enakhra - Rival to Akthanakos. Rescued during Enakhra's Lement. Followed Zamorak Post-Zaros. -Azzanadra - Released during Desert Treasure. Teaches players the ability to cast Ancient Magicks. One of the last followers of Zaros and believed to be his greatest champion. -Hazeel - Resurected in Hazeel's Cult. When a RS bug was NOT blown out of proportion
stop right there, I dont know many at all besides the most recent PVP glitch/bug... info on some? Bugs that have been blown out of proportion - in my mind: (I guess I'll go in reverse order... so most recent first) -PVP drop potential duping with familiars in F2P -The µ bug -The penguin spotting bug -The Fally massacre -Item Duping in RSC any I'm missing? can you message me some info on these? PVP drop potential is the most recent one, it can be seen all over tip it/RSOF The µ bug is an alt code that when typed, everyone that sees it will crash in game. Made it a pain in high risk situations such as god wars/BH/PVP. Penguin spotting is also pretty recent. Multiple clicks on same penguin give you alot of peng points. My friend got 99 slayer from 54 in a day with this. Banned obviously, I torture him regularly about this. Fally Massacre or Fally 666 is on June 6, 2006 when Cursed You's 99 con party (1st 99 con in game) got out of hand and a bug that allows people to attack each other outside of wildy was discovered. Not fun if your name is not durial. Item Duping was a glitch in rsc that allowed a player to copy items, most notably, the Pink (or now known as Purple) Partyhat. Went from the most expensive partyhat to the cheapest one in a day.
