I would hope that the coalitions role is more of support rather than a full out occupation. That would make it a lot less resource intensive. Hopefully we will not have to commit ground troops too, and air support will suffice. If we do go in on ground, I hope & expect that it would be somewhat similar to the war in Kuwait.

Building isn't too bad if you're eager to learn how to do it. If you want to do anything much above the bare minimums of internet browsing, its generally accepted to be cheaper to build your own by buying individual components (although looking for combos can save money). As for laptops, replacing the graphics card is rather hard, if not impossible in some models. Desktop vs laptop, well thats up to you. Desktop you get more 'bang for your buck', so to speak, but laptops have the advantage of being portable. If you need it for taking notes at college or anything I would get a laptop, but this is basically just personal preferance.

We need some more information to know what is really happening and how to fix it. Specs please, and perhaps a picture of what is happening. Make sure all wires are plugged in etc.

With my XP computer, it did require me to phone up MS to get a the product key (because I lost it) and enter it in before I could use it, but otherwise it should be fine.

#3 I would say is my personal favourite. Some of them are a little dark, perhaps lighten them in photoshop?

I'm not sure reformatting will do much apart from save a couple gigs, and give you a headache. And eww, x-plane on windows :P FSX all the way, and MS Fly or whatever it's called looks promising, too. 100GB is rather a lot, I thought the 40GB I had in my FSX folder was a lot o.O

Seeing as your odds are based of hypothetical numbers, we can't draw any significant conclusions from them, if many at all. We can get a rough idea, however. I'd be interested to see what crops up with lots of research, though.

He's 14/15 anyway, the same age as me, and I sure know that I'm busy as hell with school, and I would be surprised if that wasn't a main reason.

In laptops, it is very hard if not impossible to upgrade graphics cards. I would agree with the above posters and get a laptop with a dedicated card if you're looking to game.

I'll only have this computer another year and a half or so, I don't want to invest any more in it. So I just did the math: 2GB of pictures, 3GB of music, 7GB flightsim installation, and 6GB of other files. Out of curiosity, what FS are you running? I assume x-plane, seeing as FSX won't run on OSX..?

Check if her mobo works with your PSU, and check that her PSU works with your mobo to see if you can narrow down the problem further. Use the HDD's on your computer to ensure its not a virus (unplug your HDD's though incase it is some virus) It could always be the plug that its plugged into acting up. Does sound a lot like a breaking PSU though. Wouldn't want to fry your motherboard if it indeed is about to phail, so be careful.

Seems like it would have its roots in the mousekey settings, so long as you're sure that you're not double pressing really quickly or your keyboard is not faulty or anything. edit: just read the post above, seems it's not this Sorta offtopic - your temps are quite high there, presuming you aren't at 100% load.

Some people above are talking about desktops, I believe OP is looking for a laptop. Thing is with any mac is that you will be overpaying for what is essentially the exact same hardware as any pc. If you're going to use any software that is only mac-available, then obviously get a mac. However most software is pc-targeted so overall you'd probably be better with a pc on those terms. If you're going on style, meh, not the best way to judge a computer but I guess it is important for a mid/low range laptop. People say macs look nice and I can see that, but some PC laptops also look nice. I would go with a pc for the multitude of software that there is as well as the fact that your wallet will not feel so light after buying.

You're essentially maxed - cannon would be a waste TBH. If you have a chaotic, use that and just melee pray, although if you have good enough armour I guess you could try your luck at tanking. KS is fine to.

If I were you, I would add an input for people to put in how many hours/day they play.

If you can't be bothered to set up your own VPN, theres a free one called hotspotsheild. Not sure how trustworthy it is (i.e. I have no idea, I'm not saying it isn't), but its got good uptime and speedz.
