Nice, I just dont like the "Gf" thing, I find it lame, especially when there wasn't even a good fight. Also, the whole safing thing is a bit vague. IMO, safing is eating above the lvl you can be koed. So for a defense newb with 60hp, fighting a pure, eating above 30hp could be considered safing. Not eating above 15hp, wtf. You can't just a stupid formula to it (1/4th..)

personally, spirit shields were a good attempt, but they seem to be ineffective in the grand scheme. just too pricey If the GE actually listed realistic prices for them, more people would go to KB and it would drop. But no... Also +1 to what Compfreak says. Boss hunting is easy enough, with people staying 10 hours at Sara GWD.

I get 260-270 crimsons per 1k bursts at the 9 lob spot, so 340 per 1k barrages sounds very possible. Also, andylax's guide has a lot of information on the 9 lob spot which also states 300+ charms , I think. On topic: Didn't this answer your question, wioneo. For your reference, from my own experience the 9 lob spot is: 260-270 crimsons per 1k bursts 570 bursts an hour 100k mage xp an hour

Glad it worked out :-) About the "bone method": I might indeed be wise to just move around more (and not just in the 3 locations I mentioned), and not drop bones at all. As long as you dont have too much bones piling on each other, you won't be short of monkies. Also, I'd recommend bring a super restore in stead of a summoning potion. Restores your summoning AND prayer, so extends your trip a bit more.

Ffs. I just made a video and guess what. First I have to hop 10 times, which makes my computer freeze because of the recording program. Then, when I stop recording the program crashes and the recordings are "damaged" and I can't play them. So far the video making... I did make 2 inventory pictures so that's something, I guess...

i thought gs was to slow to use with just karils? dont u use melee void cuase of att bonus with gs? Gs is slow, but since your stats are low gs slowness won't matter. In other words, if you hit twice with sara sword or zamorak spear...chance you will hit 0 because of your stats is high. But with godsword which is maybe the most accurate melee weapon, it will help you. It might be slow but atleast you will hit high. Void= not worth it, i don't see the amazing boost if there is any... I don't buy it. Any way you look at it - mathematically or with real world tests - levels and defence have little effect on the effectiveness of godswords\prayers\potions etc. Best weapon by far is SS, then zammy spear, then godswords as a VERY distant 3rd. I would almost put flail\hams above godsword; it's just that slow. Melee void is nice if you have a unicorn, not so nice if your dealing with a bunyip. I personally go for full void + ss + unicorn, but it BARELY keeps up with 99 defence. First of all, void is 15-17%, and if it was 10% it would be significantly behind bandos\nezzy\dark gloves. When you say you barely keep up, you mean you barely survive while using piety and NO protect from ranged? or what?

Yeah, I was wondering too about the rune legs + full helm. Rune chain + full helm beats it both in offense and defence. People don't try things out themselves I guess :roll:

On the SGS issue, it could be a good idea, allthough it will only make a small difference, I think. (you will waste a bit of prayer too in the time you are switching to sgs, specing twice, and switching back to chins + unholy book). EDIT: fixed a broken link and added an excel sheet with all my trips listed. (I totally remade it to make it more clear, so please enjoy, was a bit of work :-)). This guide is starting to look good, I daresay. Now an inventory picture, a video, and a comparison with armadyl and it's more or less complete :-).

Att 110+ combat, 99 ranged doesn't stand out that much anymore tbh, not to mention mage, who gets totally screwed by other lvl 110+'s.

It is very obvious that AS LONG AS THE COINSHARED ITEMS ARE BOUGHT (for above min), coinshare IS a money drain.

It's strange that you can get them in 3x3 squares. If you just alternate between the spots I mentioned they should make 3x3 squares out of themselves. i'd say, try it one more time, if it still goes as bad and the xp rates are still that low, do iron knives or whatever.

Dont search for attention by posting such stupid statements. The only thing that charms can be obtained without combat. However, that was also possible with the dorgeshkaan chests and the rate of charms is nothing compared to waterfiends, rock lobsters, or even slayer.

Very nice. What did you kill to get there? Fiends, lobsters, or good old slayer?

Hi, I'm currently training 85-90 slayer, with an underlying goal of 95 or 96 summoning (so I might have to burst a bit too). Point is, I'm actually collecting charms, but I'm doing it through slayer cause it gives a bit of variety, and slayer xp. Also, I'm 99 ranged, so cannoning isn't that appealing as it once was. (Still, I'm always happy to cannon my dag or bloodveld tasks). Now, I'm having a hard time deciding what to block. Currently I have blocked: 1) Warped terrorbirds: No charms and annoying to kill. Good slayer xp though. 2) Hell hounds. Always crowded, boring, decent summong xp though. (about 100 golds per task + some of the others) 3) open, possibly steel drags 4) open, possibly kalphites Kalphites are decent slayer xp with cannon, but I find them to be still too slow for my liking and a waste of cannonballs. My question is simple: What do you think? Should I block kalphites, even though it can be quick slayer xp with a cannon. Or should I certainly not block them, cause I should block monster X. (gargs for instance, annoying rock hammer...)
