Why are you ranging in Karil's? Black d'hide has better melee defence, the same ranged bonus AND doesn't degrade.

I think it both depends on how big your house is and how good you connection is.

Mine takes way too long :( I timed it and it takes 8.38 seconds.

You know why I like this game? Because some things AREN'T obtained by hard work and dedication. Some things just happen to you when you're in the right place at the right time. That's the exciting part about the game. The lucky-based drop system, the lucky-based drop parties, ... Not everything should be able to be achieved by everyone. Some things should be made exclusive, that's what makes the game special. As soon as this game becomes some communistic "everyone deserves a 99 skill and bunny ears", I'm quitting.

With all due respect, I don't care how long you've played. Are you higher level than me? If so, kudos to you. If not... you have a bit more work to do. ;) People really need to see that the length of time they've played really does mean little to nothing. Your actual achievements are what mean something. If I joined in 2008 and I am level 138, and I meet a level 50 who joined in 2001... why should I think highly of him in any way? I've gotten 135 levels in a year, but he's gotten 50 in 8 years. Not very good. Wow, what an attitude... The length of time you've played does matter IMO. It shows wether you are one of the millions of new players that all want a fletching cape, or someone who has been around before runescape got as big as it is now.

Whip = everything but Waterfiends, Corporal beast, Training Strength (Train controlled, training strength alone is dumb) SS = Training Strength if your one of those people who can't stand to train controlled, waterfiends, otherwise useless LBS - Good for metal dragons (blacklisted for slayer, otherwise never killed) and Corporal Beast. Basically, whip covers everything besides 2 monsters in the entire game. True, and it would be much cooler if that changed. Now LBS is only good for metal drags cause only there the difference between slash and stab defence is big enough. I think they should make all the defence differences between different styles much more distinct. I mean, slayer masters tell us things like "fire giants are weak to crush attacks, or whatever", but we don't care cause it doesn't make a difference. Let it make a difference!

Not if all attack modes would become more important. Say they make the differences in slash defence and crush defence in plate armour much big. Same goes for dhide etc. In some situations, a whip would be the best, in other situations, a zamorakian spear would be better. It would be much cooler if all monsters would be like waterfiends and have one very outspoken weakness and other very outspoken strengths. Of course, in each class, we would have a best weapon, but it wouldn't be whipwhipwhip like it is now.

Nachalo. I think it's a stupid idea to give all people access to all the previous items/emotes. I like to have some sort of exlusiveness as opposed to all these new people that joined. It's some kind of veteran thing to have a scyte and/or bunny ears. Making it accessible to every freakin new member will make it totally loose it's appeal. I do agree that the partyhats, masks, santa's and other discontinued items didn't go as Jagex intended it to be. I wouldnt really care if they got removed and the player get refunded. However, handing out bunny ears to everybody, just to please the jealous newbs who only joined a few months ago. A big no.

I'm afraid I can't answer that question accurately. I do have xp/chin rates for 90 + rates, but for 85 and under, it's just guesswork. But let's see... 77-85 is around 1.5M xp. At 90 ranged, the xp per grey chin is around 200. We'll make an estimate it's around 150 for your lvl. This way, you will need 10k chins, and it will cost you around 3.5M in chins. The pray pot cost is around 14 pray pots (4) per 1.3K chins. I'm too lazy to count that out too, but I'm sure you can. Many thanks. It comes out at 870k on pray pots. Does that sound about right? :) No problem, and it does sound pretty realistic. Remember i was talking about GREY chins. I just realised those ppots/chin rate only counts if you are 80 prayer. If you have a lower prayer lvl, you will use more prayer potions. On a side note: updated the guide yet again. Found the lost data about 10% and 15%. It was on another computer. Also added something about potions.

It's not about preference. Monkies are faster and cheaper. I will challenge you to get 90-99 ranged at mummies and pay less than what I did at monkey skeletons. You might get some drops, but I get more xp per chinchompa, so I use less chinchompa's so I loose less money (which outweighs your drops) and I WIN time, compared to you.

Updated. Fixed some typos, added some alternative gear, added something on dieing and some other small things I already forgot. Also, if anybody has information on mummies, or chinning with/without prayer, on chinning with void compared to chinning with armadyl, or anything else that you think can be valauble, please share it here. I will add it in the guide and credit you. EDIT: added a comparison to mummies. As I thought, Ape Atoll is cheaper AND faster. :-) EDIT: added a picture of the dungeon and fixed some more stuff + added some more here and there. It's starting to look good :-)

I think the effect is totally random. That's why lvl 70 noob teams at KBD with ruby bolts can be very annoying when they get lucky...

I'm having troubles 2. 2 weeks ago I payed for a 6 month subscription. Apperantly, payment didn't go through. After some mailing, and faxing the receipt, they finally accepted it, BUT somehow the price changed in the mean time. (+ 2 euro's) I first thought it was because I got kicked of the "loyal member price scale", but they assured me I wasn't. Had something to do with euro-dollar rates changing. During this whole time, the price changed 2 times more (from 32.77 to 32.85 to 32.92). 5 days ago I paid 2.77 euro's (I paid 30.77 before, and they said it should be 32.77 so I needed to pay 2 euro's extra + transaction costs which makes 2.77), but still nothing has happened... Might be because actually I need to pay 2.92, not sure. In the mail they said I had to pay just 2.77 and evertyinhg would be fine. I'm getting [bleep]ing sick of it. It's been over 2 weeks now and I want to play.

It's already hard enough to hit through full rune with your rune scimitar. You could argue that the few extra pts won't make a difference (say +5 more in all defence stats) but then again, what would be the point? Rune is a good armour as it is. It is still used pretty often in p2p. In fact, rune armour is way too cheap for what it is. (I know, barrows is also way too cheap for what it is, but that is another discussion)

Was a good read. I also like how you guys are really close and trust each other/share stuff etc. I have yet to meet someone online and get this close to him.

Loser. Go get some more whip drops. On topic: Amazing, simply amazing. If monster hunting was a skill, you'd have 200m xp. I can't wait for your Armadyl Guide. I bet there will be tons of hints and tips that no other guides have. Now if only I'd had been more inspired and monser hunted more when hilts were 100m + ...

Even though your items stay, it IS annoying. I've died twice at steel drags and nobody blessed my grave, probably cause it dissapeared when I DCed. I couldnt log in for the next 5 min, so no chance on getting my inf boots etc back.
