  1. Don't drive to save money, don't drive just to 'save' the enviroment.
  2. I'm not exactly sure what I believe. I don't believe in ghosts, and I don't believe you can contact the dead. But I believe pyschics have a sort of demonic power, so they see the future in a sense, but it isn't true. To be honest, I'm not sure.
  3. Why do you people think a 3.0 is so bad? Because, unless every class is AP that you're in, below 3.0 you need to re-evaluate your priorities. I got an app. for NHS, I didn't turn it in though. Those guys are arrogant [wagon] people. I don't want to be associated with them. Also, I need community service for 9th grade, which I didn't have. >.<
  4. Briefs (not whitey tighties, those are lame) or Boxer Briefs.
  5. I turn 18 in less than a month,I don't give a [cabbage] though. I don't smoke, and can already see Rated - R movies. But, when I turn 18, I can be drafted (even though we don't have one atm) I can be charged as an adult for everything, I have to use the meat slicer and dough machine at work, which are [bleep]es. Besides, I can't watch any of ym shows when I turn 18, cause I'm still in my parents house. (As of yesterday my parents said I can't watch: House, Family Guy, Law and Order: SVU, CSI, Reno 911, Scrubs, NOTHING.) 17 Ftw. But, when I do turn 18, I'll buy a pack of cigs and pretend to smoke em in front of my parents. Besides that, I told my job to schedule me for 10 hour shift on my b-day, I hate B-days, they're so useless.
  6. Oh, I wasn't serious. You *might* have a chance with the Police Department, for harassment charges, but it's a long shot.
  7. [hide=Solution][/hide] Welcome to Spam Snail Mail Version 2.0
  8. Wiccannnsssss !! Nah, I have no idea, probably called Black Friday, because people get up at the Black of night to stand in line for 10 hours and their item sells out before they get to it. I found a food I LOVE. I don't know the name, but it's sweet potatoe, cranberries, and apples with a souce on em, mixed up and served in a casserole dish. It's epic. I'll try and google image it.
  9. The Kyoto Protocol is highly ineffective, and unnecessary. But you guys won't be swayed, so I won't discuss it further.
  10. Theoooooooooooooooooo! ILuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!! :( :( :(
  11. Well done? I like the way you make it sound like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. :? Oh, no, sorry I didn't mean for it to sound like that. There's not many around here, but I've talked to quite a few.
  12. And this begs the question of whether or not you know the difference between biased and unbiased sources. Oh yea, I noticed that. XD I meant to say "it seemed pretty biased, but still." And do you have anything to add to this? Or will you just flame me for writing posts in the dark? :x Anyways, ok, FlyingJJ, I'm cool with that.
  13. You're epic. And I love you. Congratz on the level! And teach me SC sometime? Please? HF IRL.
  14. Wow.. that's a pretty low gpa around here... in order to be rank 31 you would have to have a gpa of about 4.2-4.3.. (Our AP courses go up to 5.0 and honors up to 4.5, but anything below a C = gpa of 0.0) Oh, yea, we only get like +.464 for an A in an AP class. Kinda sucks, otherwise I would have close to a 4.0.
  15. Thanks for those they were quite intersting, although hardly what id call unbiased. And whilst I was aware of 90% of the stuff in there and my considered opinion is that Islam sucks (as opposed to Christianity which is merely completely unbelievable)... ...without someone willing and able to defend the Islamic point of view there is no debate here... ...and it become increasingly likely that this merely turns into Islamobashing. A purely textual reading of the bible can bring up an awful lot of problematic text, and without someone familiar with its use today as part of their actual lifestyle, the context and meaning will not be known to us. So please, lets not go there. I know they're biased, also, to FlyingJj, while yes, some Muslims are open. Just like how some Christians support Evolution, but the 'true' Muslims follow Shari'a law (which has some disgusting sections) hate Christians. And also, I have spoken to Muslims before.
  16. Geometry really [bleep]ed me over, I studied a lot, yet my quarter grades were: C, D, C, B Damn, it [bleep]ed up my GPA over all. That and Spanish 1 \ Keyboarding, I took those in 8th grade, so I only got B's, when I could have easily gotten A's.
  17. God encourages sex with MARRIED couples. There's nothing keeping married people from procreating, just out of wedlock.
  18. Ours is the same, except an A in AP counts as 4.464 I think? Also, our grading scale is 100-94 A, 93-86 B, 85-78 C, 77-70 D, 69- E
  19. Depends on how conservative of a Muslim you are. I very recently gained a new respect for Islam, especially after I found out how accepting they are of Christianity and Judaism. Lol. Lol. Sorry, I had to say it again. http://www.answering-islam.org/Intro/comparison.html This was pretty good, and it seemed unbiased. [hide=]In Islam, on the other hand, the Qur'an is considered the "unmediated" word of God. In other word, Islam stresses very strongly that in receiving his revelation Muhammad was illiterate-- and hence completely passive. He simply recited what was put into his mouth, without any input of his own. ("Qur'an" means "recitation.") The Qur'an -- which is seen as eternally existing in heaven -- simply descended (another name for the Qur'an is 'at- tanzil', "that which descended") and was expressed through Muhammad as a passive instrument of revelation. Anyone familiar with modern critical linguistic theory would have to question such a view. According to such theory, 'all' communication is mediated; as soon as a thought is put into words, it is mediated. The very fact that a thought is put into words means that it is "processed" and passed through a human lens, so to speak. The whole purpose of revelation is for God, whose thoughts are so far above ours, to mediate his communication to us through human language. God does not think in human language; to say so is to limit his omniscience, which is far beyond the constraints of human language! Thus Christians must call the Islamic view of "unmediated revelation" into question on both linguistic and theological grounds.[/hide] http://www.answering-islam.org/BehindVeil/btv4.html http://www.answering-islam.org/Hahn/jihad.htm
  20. This person at my school never took a single challenging class, but she got straight A's since 7trh grade, thus she has a perfect 4.0 GPA, and is rank 10, out of 464, everyone hates her.
  21. Eh, or, you just want to get laid, and never see the person again. I love all the people against Prostitution, but pro-gay marriage. Stop forcing your beliefs on me!!!! /Sarcasm. Really though, it's better to tax it, and maybe tax a little bit extra and send that to charities to end STDS.
  22. Fyi, there's no such thing as Seperation of Church and state, it was written as a good idea in a private letter, it's nowhere in the Constitution.
  23. Beware all of you, almost all stores require a ticket to buy the 'awesome deal,' these tickets are usually handed out either on Thanksgiving, or around 3-5AM. My mom once waited for 7 hours, only to find out she needed a ticket.
  24. 5.0? Does your school allow AP in 9th grade? And what bonus do you get for an 'A' in AP? My system barely gives us any bonus, which is why the Valedictorians only get usually a 4.3-4.6 And thats after 3 years of striaght A's in AP classes (except they usally take AP Chem and AP Bio which they get B's in)
