  1. For me it is a no. I think that Jagex should be focusing on the main game. Instead of splitting the community into even more groups, I think we should try to keep it together more. Change happens, but certainly all updates since 2007 haven't been good. I don't think that to head backwards is the way to move forwards though. The main game will still always be the focus of Jagex's. Remember that, those of you who wish to vote.
  2. Can't you get those from Dust Devils? There seem to be two kinds of the kebab, two different examines. I assume this one is rarer in some way, still I doubt Jagex would discontinue it in the same way as partyhats etc. This kind of kebab is an uncommon drop from dust devils. It can also be cooked, but I would say it is easier just to go kill dust devils for it nowadays (if you got the slayer level for it).
  3. As for what may actually make this distraction and diversion more popular, I would simply say: More xp. For me it won't be dead content for quite some time. I love the rushing and competing nature of this d and d. It is much like fish flingers in that way (another of my favourite distractions).
  4. Precisely my view here. And it is really quite sad. Fun shouldn't be all about efficiency, especially when it comes to updates like minigames and distractions and diversions. After all this type of update is for variation. The rewards might not be huge, but it is still a fun game to play. It includes strategy, fast decision-making and is a "minigame of a minigame" (dg is still not really a skill). This game needs more people who can learn how to take a break and do something just for fun, with still decent rewards, for a few minutes. Certainly there are a lot of hourly/daily activities already, but just doing the same activities (the most rewarding ones) day after day is no fun. I do certainly repeat some dailies as well, but not without varying these with some distraction and diversions as well as minigames that I actually find fun every now and then.
  5. I love this new D and D. Even though I got last in both the rounds I played this far. It's good with some variation to normal dung...And to actually compete about the resources and all instead of working together, muwhaha! :)
  6. "I am..." is an article that truly shows the strengths of this game. We all have the choice to play as we want to. Use that choice, fellow RS players.
  7. He was likely trolling anyway :P. Trust me, he wasn't. I didn't take a picture of all the clan chat here, but if I would have done so, you would have realized he was serious. I have talked some more with this guy afterwards, and now he realizes that he was quite nooby to ask that question :P.
  8. Why RS is like it is nowadays. Everything explained right there.
  9. I use a SGS for most of my slayer tasks. It is worth the price according to me, but then I have yet to unlock chaotics. I would still say it is a good weapon, suit for pretty much everything melee that doesn't have too high defence or attack (which would make you need a shield).
  10. I am just hoping that Jagex actually will show in action that they stand for what they say here. I still believe, strongly, in Jagex. But can't they just remove those bots now? I mean, certainly they are fewer now than before, but they're still way too many. A proper update to make sure bots doesn't work in the game anymore and the final of the elf quest series in this year and I'm satisfied.
  11. I would say yes. Even with just a few adventures it is worth it, since you can always get new adventurers later on. And the rewards in the end are awesome. Good luck with your port!
  12. this could be a good way to get around the rules against botting. instead of the human player using a third party to do the boring grindy tasks, the electronic avatar uses the third party. the avatar hasn't signed any terms and conditions, so they are breaking no rules! Omg this is pure genious! :) Perhaps Jagex could even make us pay runecoins for this new feature :P?
  13. I would say around 20M. Most people seem to invest into their skills nowadays, more than they used to.
  14. I have to say that I agree with you here. Less buttons to click on at times would certainly be nice. But then, what would you use instead? It's kind of hard to replace all those buttons :/
  15. One word: Underbart. (Wonderful)
  16. A good little guide. This can surely be useful for new players who want to make some of their first money in the game. Thanks for posting :)
  17. Now this looks awesome. I look forward to testing the rc part out of this soon!
  18. Wow...I just realized my lowest skill is 16 level higher than yours (also being dung). Gratz on 99 Woodcutting again (PMed you when you got it ;) )!
  19. SoF and Solomon's are indeed RWT. Even though I don't scream out my opinion as much as you do, I still have to agree with your views here. However: Except that I like the new starting area and tutorial. I loved to kill those trolls.
  20. The quest look awesome. Perhaps I should actually get myself to starting that quest series now... And did they really have to make a special TzHaar whip for the SoF for this? :/
  21. Excellent that someone updated the barrows guide to post-EoC. Great job.
  22. Congratulations on the win, Tansuo. You was a good competitor and I have enjoyed our fight. You was the better of us 4, and I hope you enjoy the prize! (Just remember, Saradomin is the true master of baths in RuneScape)
  23. I think that there would be plenty of burnt food collectors who would get mad if this suggestion was made real. And really, just having your food item disappear when you cook it wrongly, how logical is that :P ?
  24. I won't do that. If I win, I have deserved the prize. If anyone else does, they deserve it. Now it is all up to 999134. The best of luck to you, Tansuo :)
  25. I really don't know why you suddenly became so negative. Didn't take a bath for a long time, probably :) You should join our fellow Saradomian order, and you will see that thanks to His light you will feel much better. I don't think you understand the difference in pm'ing people, begging for likes, and them actually enjoying your guide and wanting you to win. You've completely screwed up the competition, something that should have been fun and enjoyable, with the prospect of some free gp clouding your judgement. It has turned from a quality of guide contest to "who can swedishboy5 beg to vote on his guide, even if he doesn't know them" contest. I want to win this competition, that is why I asked people to vote for me. Just like in any competition I enter I do my best to win. I have not begged anyone to vote for me. I have asked them to do so. If they said no, then that is fine. Now there's no more voting though. I still find this competition to be fun and I hope you can still find it to be as well. The "free gp" is just a bonus, if I now would happen to win.
