  1. Loving the actual hat (much better than my attempt), but is there any chance it could nudged be slightly to the right so it looks more on his head?
  2. Nah that's not needed. We talked about this in the crashing thread. Nobody has an inherent ownership or right to the spot just because they got there first; it's the responsibility of both parties to choose whether to compete or not. If someone else comes along and wants to fight, you either accept the challenge and try to fight, or you hop. If you go to a world and someone's there already, you either hop or you challenge them. Sure, you can ask nicely for them to hop, but politeness-wise it's not really different from asking them nicely to give you a free 10k (or if you're the one hopping to be nice, from offering to give them a free 10k). There's no obligation, and there's no breach of etiquette if you decline. Eh, it's still the polite thing to do; if your doing something where hopping can easily find you an empty world, that's the polite thing to do. Depends on what your doing.... rune rocks, Bandos GW.... definitely crash. Vs doing some skilling where you can easily hop to find an empty world.... Can't think of any examples though. Some mining definitely.... I mean, not saying you HAVE to be polite, plus (say it's something mining related) you have 10 mining levels on the guy and a dragon pickaxe vs his rune one.... Maybe you crash him because you can. Mostly my point is that if there are any conventions of courtesy that should apply to this situation, none of them are contingent on who was there first. The one who should politely bow out, if anyone, is whoever has the lower mining level or, alternately, whoever places the highest value on having the spot to himself. I disagree. oliteness has a lot to do with who was there first. I'm not saying it is the norm, what does happen or what you have to do, but to be polite, you generally respect the social norms we have in real life, which is that who was there first generally has the right to stay.
  3. Is there nothing after 25?
  4. Very short request. I'm looking for somebody to add a small Santa hat to my current avatar. -If it needs cropping, such as moving down to fit the hat in it is ok. -Transparency must be kept
  5. The polite thing to do in each situation is: A) If somebody else comes, ask them to hop, if that fails, you can either stand your ground and ruin their training or move on to greener pastures. B) when going to an occupied resource, hop to find an empty world, if you cannot find an empty world, you will be forced to compete.

The text in both looks too plain.

They are legit. Can you just run if you feel like it or do you actually have to go through some sort of nomination process?
  8. Oh yes they do. If they don't they're lying. Everyone is judgmental, no matter how much they say they're not. Now, being judgmental and taking a chance versus being judgmental and shunning the fellow is two different things. But what you wear, what you do--everything leaves impressions. I disagree. I would have the same social life with friends that know I game as with those that don't. Hell, I'll often introduce myself as a self proclaimed nerd to the opposite sex if I'm out. People aren't as judgemental as you think. And those that are aren't worth talking too anyway. I could have just as good night, meet as many new people wearing one of those T shirts as I could wearing a t shirt with the same general picture but not Runescape oriented. If you like a T shirt, wear it.
  9. Exactly. You don't wear them to advertise or to show of, you wear them because you need to wear a t shirt and they don't look half bad. If anybody questioned be on them I'd have no hesitation in saying they are a t shirt of a game I used to play.
  10. I think i'm showing my age that I wouldn't mind wearing any of them. When you get older, you realise that the opposite sex don't care if you play a game as much as you think. It's your attitude and demeanour that are important.
  11. I think some of it is pretty good actually, considering ordering one of the LVL99 party animal t shirts. What's the difference between a classic t shirt and AA t shirts?
  12. Those little toys the 'Who died?' person made look great. They aren't totally runescape looking so I would actually buy one of them.
  13. Right, so you plan on reading all 250,000 documents? No, don't worry, the liberal media will read them all and tell him what to think. OT: I don't particularly care in regards to this whole issue. It seems like a lot of stuff was released but nothing(yet) that really is extremely classified. Most of it just seems to be regular old complaining and candid insults, which, let's be honest, we all know are happening anyway, even if we can't see them. We know most of it doesn't matter, but people somehow think this means the government is evil for saying some of the things revealed. Yet, we all know politicians are human and that all humans will say things about others when nobody is around. Somehow, people who think the government are evil, thought the government was squeaky clean before this. Who knew?
  14. Right, so you plan on reading all 250,000 documents? Yeah, I mean, it isn't the media and other online news sources which are telling people which parts to read is it. I just don't quite get the point in these documents being released. What is the purpose, the aim?
  15. If we can ever get past the Assange distraction, the big Wikileaks story is how it is a response to the failure of mainstream journalism. This explains the loathing the Media has directed towards Assange. He stands as an indictment of them. You seem to forget, we aren't the media. We are normal people who still loath the guy.
  16. I've had to remove a few posts, listen to the above advice. This topic is for discussing the update, not discussing other people. If you want to do that, there is always the PM system.
  17. I've had to remove a few posts. If you don't want to discuss the topic at hand which is the analysis of these updates, you don't have to post.
  18. Facebook shared it. Is real touching.
  19. Grand master now. Had a strange duel yesterday. A guy with 20/34 ish w/l so after the start I went afk for a little not expecting him to be much of a challenge. Came back, he had punished+shouted for the first four available turns and had me down at 32hp while he was still at 180 ish. It was so unexpected.
  20. They're all assumptions? Normally right now I'd ask which ones were assumptions, but you said "all," implying that every stated number is indeed an assumption. Normally I'd ask why these are assumptions, but seeing as I made the claims, the onus is on me for the proof. Now, I mean, one would think with the revelations of Wikileaks' leak would be enough...but if you need your hand held, fine: 1. Claim: Arab states want war with Iran, or rather, Iran to be stopped at all costs due to a loss of power held in the Gulf. I won't disagree they want war, but not because they are just 'losing power' There are a multitude of reasons for them wanting US help in the area. Stating that it is one reason is irresponsible. 2. Claim: Putting Iraq into chaos has made such a war with Iran even more likely because the balance of power has shifted. I would argue the opposite, it has made many of the surrounding countries more determined to stick together in opposition to Iran, which could lead to sanctions and eventually a revolution in Iran. 3. Claim: Everyone is scared [cabbage]less of Pakistan's nuclear weapons falling into the wrong hands. The assumption here is 'everyone'. The US is, as your evidence states, but I don't agree that everybody is and you show no evidence of that. 4. Claim: Iran funded Hezbollah through back-door alleys As said in the evidence, it is an allegation not proven. 5. Claim: Netanyahu and the Israeli government do not want peace, nor do they want Palestine to be an actual state/country/government; they want control over Greater Israel. I agree they do not want a full Palestinian state (and I don't blame them) but they do want peace, as is shown in your proof. 6. Claim: Mass corruption in Afghanistan This I do not disagree with. I am fine with you arguing points on such heated topic, but stating 7 things with no evidence the first time around just leads all of your arguments to look like blind assumptions.

I've never been a fan of American Mustangs. The design is so lazy and hasn't been changed for so long. There is just something about them that makes me dislike them with a passion.
  22. To be honest, all the things Magekillr just stated in the numbered list are all massive assumptions and things which cannot be taken seriously at all without any sort of evidence or proof to back them up.
  23. Well, looks like my statement wasn't needed, people are being directly killed for the leaks. But I wonder just how little some people will care due to them being Afghans.
  24. Don't you mean total Runescape domination, with your foil armour? Or something like that... Did you not hear, Tip.it is secretly made up of all the major world leaders in secret. The perfect place to discuss with no spies.
  25. One thing I'd just like to say to people trying to debunk arguments which state the leaking of documents endanger lives is to think of wider consequences. World politics are a very complicated and tangled web. Take for example the things said by ambassadors to the various middle eastern countries. They may not directly lead to deaths, but they lead to increased tensions in the area which can lead to future wars. They could also lead to a growing suspicion of the US by those countries who now may not trust them as much, which could lead to other situations. Just because person 'a' isn't shot by person 'b' over the leaks, does not mean they do not do any damage.
