If your friends are 'alternative' and they are girls, and hear that you listen to the ultramale Nick Cave, they will all want you. Seriously. Try it.

They should stop using those fonts. I can never read the band names. Besides, what's the point of it. :P

Pulse is so overrated. Nice show and all, but I don't see what all the fuss is about. Get Roger Waters preforming the Wall live in Berlin half a year after the wall went down. Now that's great. Another special thing is the end of By the way, LP. Have you ever listened to Dead can Dance? A friend introduced me to their music recentely, and they're really great. Lisa Gerrard, one of the two singers (the other being a male) also did the score for Gladiator. And you could really compare the music, although Dead can Dance has got a little more 'spice' to it. It's really good, and theirl ive sets are brilliant. I think you'd like them. click for a live video. :)

You'd be the coolest guy in your group of friends. From Her to Eternity Tender Prey The Good Son Henry's Dream Let Love In Murder Ballads The Boatman's Call No More Shall we Part Abattoir Blues/Lyre of Orpheus Are all essential albums. I'm not known with the early stuff yet (From Her To Eternity excluded), but I guess that'll be not too bad either plus it's somewhat rougher, since he changed more to ballads (not your usual "baby, I love you so, I need you so" though) since The Good Son. Boatman's Call and Abattoir Blues are most easy to get into. Boatman all ballads, and abattoir blues is very diverse.

I don't know. I never really showed any interest in it.

A deskjob would be nice. Just something that starts at 9 and that I can leave behind at 5. And that gives enough money to support myself well.

I think I said Black Star, or was that in one of the other topics? new Talib Kweli, Eardrum, got released last week. I played it once, and so far I'm not really impressed. There's a few cool tracks though.

Rescue Dawn the best war movie since The Thin Red Line. Go see this. It's rare that you can see something this good in cinema these days.
-
Linking Park? Crap topic. I answered to another one like this last week. I can't believe mods move this and just keep it open.

My computer was broke, so we got a new one. Yay. That also explains why I wasn't online the past three (?) days. For those who care. Abhijan - Yea! Someone who's opinion I always think is worth something told me that this movie was an absolute bore. He couldn't be more wrong. It has got everything. Two romances, car chases (greatly done I might say so: you've got that real feeling of speed and power that comes with a '30 26PK Chrysler), a nasty gang-fight, crooks and a troubled hero. Plus a bunch of Rocks that equel the greatness of the Rocket tower in Otto e Mezzo, the Monolyth of 2001: A Space Odyssey and the whale from Werckmeister HarmÃÆÃâÃâóniÃÆÃâÃâák. Plus the movie really reflects the way I am feeling the past few weeks. I'm curious to what Ray has made more. The Apu trilogy is most famous, so I guess I'll check that out next month. The Prisoner of Shark Island A bit of a less known John Ford movie. Made in '36 and credited a black man on the cast list. Woo, daring. Good work John! Good movie overall. Especially the scene where our Hero is going tot take on the government ship. Influenced Kurusawa's battlescene in Shichinin no Samourai perhaps? Who knows. Jungle Fever [bleep]e Lee. Nuff said. :)

I wonder what would happen if you put all those guys naming Eragorn, Spiderman 3 etc. in a cinema and played The Birth of a Nation or something. That would be interesting. :P

DÃÆÃâÃâéjÃÆÃâÃâàvu. Didn't you post this about a year ago as well? I knew I wasn't going crazy. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=571559&highlight= What do you want us to do though? You want a good life, but you're not willing to do anything for it. Kind of a lame attitude, sorry.

If you're looking at the technical side of everything perhaps. But we all know that isn't how the world works. An LP has a much warmer sound and feels much more like something that 'lives'.
-
I've seen it two times in cinema the past few weeks. And I don't know what to say of it. :P I doubt if I'll even see it on DVD, because it can never match up to the experience you'll get in cinema. So I think I'll see it again on the silver screen in september. It's all about a special extra that's on it. David Lynch's upcoming two-disc DVD of Inland Empire will include a feature called "More Things That Happened (Additional Character Experiences)." What is that exactly, you ask? Hows about over 90 minutes of deleted footage that will be edited together into a mini-feature!

*Turns in penis* Hey, bag over her head, flag in the hand, well you know. -
Be a real man and go by bike. People with big cars only need to make up for something else.
-
Clap Your Hands? Are they 'underground'? I thought all the indie kids enjoyed their self titled and they're considered mainstream now. :P

If I'd like I could have a PS3, X-box 360, Wii, and two DVD players connected to my T.V. with a scart switcher. ^.^ O.T.

NIck Cave and the Bad Seeds - Slowly goes the night Lover, lover, goodbye So slowly goes the night I trace the print of your body with my hand Like the map of some forbidden land I trace the ghosts of your bones With my trembling hand Dark is my night But darker is my day yeah I must've been blind Out of my mind Not to read the warning signs How goes it? It goes lonely Goes slowly So slowly goes the night Ten lonely days, ten lonely nights I watch the moon get flayed anew Until the moom becomes the skinning tool I send the skins of my sins out to cover and comfort you I know of a Heaven And honey I know of a Hell yeah I hang my head In my bed And remember what you said "One evening, I'm leaving" And I laughed and checked her breathing And said darling Go slowly through the knight O baby, I feel the heal of time I wake to find you sitting here Cutting tangels out of your hair Singing a song that's all wrong Hey, but that's alright, I don't care O darling forgive me For all the misery yeah I embrace an empty space And your laughing song it fades Where goes it? It goes some place Where it's lonely And black as the night Come back, darling and put things right I hang my head and cry cry cry Darling, all night I try To cease on a reason for this mad mad season The nights, they are so long now I can't remember it being light Call it sleep, call it death, call it what you like But only sleep, dear Only sleep brings you back to life yeah I hang my head I toss and I sweat I never never can forget How goes it? I'm going, but slowly slowly going And we both know that it's gonna be alright But it ain't you who has to cry cry cry Ten lonely days, ten lonely nights Since you left my side side side You've got to hear it though.

the intro from 2001: A space odyssey?

It's not right or wrong. I accept it and it doesn't bother me at all.

Okay. That's a go. Everybody start consuming the old fashion way again.

The most expensive one is ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¡Ãâì50,-- (which is quite reasonable considering it's a limited edition item). That's what I had to pay for my tool T-shirt. That's what they asked for a Daft Punk T-shirt. The other umbrella's are priced fairly normal to be honest. Besides it's not like you're going bankrupt over a $25,-- umbrella. The $25,- looks quite stylish to be honest, I'd pay $25,-- for it. It's just a different item than you guys are used to. Actually I think it's pretty cool they're/she's releasing something different compared to all the standard collectors items. You guys just seem to be frustrated that it's made by Rihanna than something else. -

People complaining about the Rihanna umbrella's who wear band-shirts themselves should shut up by the way. :) It's just a cool piece of merchandise, just like you can buy a Devil Driver sticker, an I <3 Aleksandr Dovzhenko T-shirt, 50 cent cap or w/e other piece of merchandise. Are you guys frustrated or something.
