  1. Are you asking for a set up? Or how to kill them? A decent set up which I've found to do good is soul wars cape, neitz helm, black dragonhide body and chaps, barrow gloves, rune crossbow, whip, darklight, enhanced excalibur, and a rune defender. I'm not too sure on an inventory without a unicorn or steel titan, but I'd assume a super set, range potion, a few prayer potions (maybe 5 to start), and the rest of your inventory/BoB sharks. As for how to kill them, there are guides in the AoW which are helpful, as well as guides on youtube. The only thing I guess I could add is use F1 and F3 to switch between your inventory and prayers quickly, in order to minimize damage and switch as soon as possible when they switch prayers. Edit: forgot to add, bring a sapphire lantern and teletabs, and have spare sapphire lanterns just in case.
  2. When I had 90 melees and a bunyip, zamorakian spear, super attack/super strength potion, and only protect from range on, I got over 75 crims per hour easily. You're getting 74 total charms in an hour. Also, why are you so against the zamorakian spear? It seems like you have some hatred towards it, refusing to accept that it's better than a dragon battle axe and a rune defender. Also, why does nearly everyone else use a spear? They're all "fooled" into thinking it's better? I'm sure people have tested many weapons, with the overall conclusion that a saradomin sword or zamorkian spear is best. Yet you ignore that, and label most people as ignorant guide reading fools or something. I just don't see why you're so against it, saying that only reason it's bought is because it looks good.
  3. Well saradomin brews do lower your stats still, but they restore in 15 seconds by the boost you get from your base level (so 26 attack levels for example every 15 seconds). So if you use a sip or 2 of brew every 15 seconds, then no restores are needed, just try to drink around the 12 second mark to have optimum levels. If you have to brew more than that, bring restore potions so that your stats will go to the optimum level when the 15 second restore comes around.
  4. I'm pretty sure super restores don't recover summoning bar points, never seen it happen for me, or maybe I just haven't noticed. I'm quite sure that summoning potions work though.
  5. I'd say give TDs another try, it was only your second trip, you won't be perfect after your first few trips. Also, the pray switching is hardly difficult at TDs, just switch every so often, as long as you distinguish between their three attacks you'd do fine. Also, dieing at TDs is hardly an issue as long as you have the 500k grave and spare sapphire lanterns. If you're uncomfortable, just practice running back, and see how much time you'd have to pick up your stuff at your speed. Losing black d'hide and some other stuff shouldn't really hurt you if you can't make it back, but no reason you shouldn't be able to make it back unless you get a random.
  6. I think he was referring to this topic From what I've heard, rushing floors 1-30 on medium 5:3 (5 players 3 difficulty, 6 complexity, difference between difficulty and complexity), and then doing floors 31-35 on 5:5 is best for exp. Not sure if this is truly the fastest, just what my friend told me.
  7. How in the world would a different weapon make rare drops more common? He's just getting more lucky ever since getting the new weapon, but it's just a coincidence. Weapons don't have attached "luck" with them.
  8. There is a gorak and werewolf right outside the boss room, a vampire/werewolf/maybe something else on the middle room, and some of each on the first floor (entrance). Just bring a zammy item, it wouldn't hurt to take an extra item, since it'll save you a lot of hassle.
  9. So I was thinking of using the SOL and getting battle robes, but is the Tome of frost and the new necklaces worth it? I don't think they'd help too much, unless you already have them. Not sure if the new necklace boosts would help with only one lob or every lob, since extreme mage pot boost only affects the lob you target. But I would assume it would affect every lob since I believe the SoL's boost effects every lob (not sure on this one). The tome of frost would help, but it wouldn't save too much money really, compared to the rest of the runes. Unless you already have the tokens for the new stuff, I'd say its not worth it, unless you enjoy dungeoneering and are willing to give up tokens.
  10. Choose offer-x, type in a large number (I always did 66 or something since it was two presses and then enter was close by, make sure the number is larger than the total number of bones you're trying to offer, as in inventory and the BoB), and before you inventory runs out choose take BoB, and it will continue offering. When you choose offer all, it just offers the number of bones present in your inventory.
  11. What exactly do you mean lol. The amount of damage you would do is halved? I think that any non spear weapon's damage is halved or something like that, not sure if it's actually like that though. From a video I saw of two people duoing with LBS, I think there were no hits above 25 or something (before damage update), but they should easily have hit 30+ at least once I'd say, if it's only weakness was actually stab instead of spears on stab. Also, I believe somebody tried a chaotic longsword at FFA corp and got no kills in 2 hours or something. Not sure if that was true, just what I was told, but something to consider and perhaps look into if you're interested.
  12. Keep in mind though that it is 6 hours of combat, similar to barrows. You can easily make a set of fully charged battle robes last 10+ hours, since a lot of the time is spent luring. Also, I'm fairly certain that it is under 600 casts per hour, not at all near 1.2k (I think anyways, haven't really measured).
  13. No, you have it wrong. Every 6 hours you have to recharge your robes, which takes I believe 275 tokens (150 for body, 100 for bottom, 25 for hood, or something around that). That'd take 2 hours at most I'd say. And that is 6 hours of combat, similar to barrows. I'm easily making my set last 10 hours+, since I only put on for the casting. I got my set from the ge after a long time (never really updated offers, just once in a while), since I wasn't in a hurry to get them. Now that I got them and a sol, I can say that its easily worth it as long as you're willing to put in a couple hours of effort in fog to recharge them (unless you make enough money per hour to make battle robes useless, but I have no idea what that figure would be).
  14. Isn't that too high? With my own altar, yak, and paying almost full concentration, I believe I got around 1400-1500 bones per yak (58 minutes), but I never actually counted, just from general observations. I don't see how you could get 1.5k+ with a tort and somebody else's altar, unless you do that offer 2 at a time trick thing. Or am I missing something here?
  15. Don't forget DK kings if you want to kill those for slayer, it's pretty helpful for hybriding. Anyways, congrats, getting 88 summoning is always nice.
  16. 31 kills with just a terrorbird? That's amazing  Most I ever got was 17 kills, with overloads too lol. Would you mind posting your set up?
  17. Just out of interest, did you record how many kills you got per hour in that trip? I was wondering if saving up for DFS and bandos chestplate would be worth it, as even though I did fine personally with my welfare-ish gear, if it's possible to break 70 kills/hour or something I'd really look into that, as it'd be even more fun and profitable. Since you had 10 brews left over, it'd be interesting to look into the perfect set up with maxed range defense gear, perhaps less brews, 1 more overload and more super prayer pots?
  18. When I get dagg tasks and feel like doing some DKs, I just solo rex and supreme, whilst leaving prime on me and constantly praying mage. In 4 trips, each time bringing 4 overloads, I got 60 kills total the first trip, and the next 3 always 75-76 kills. I just brought my full slay helm, dharok's body, verac's skirt, whip, blessed spirit shield, soul wars cape, dragon boots, barrow gloves, and in my inventory a void mace, guthix cape, and enhanced excalibur, along with runes for claws of guthix. I brought 4 overloads, 2 super antipoison p++, 1 super restore (just in case you have to brew alot and stats way too low, bring more if you feel like it), 9 super prayer potions, teleport out, yak storage scrolls, and one extra yak pouch, throwing axes for doors, one brew, one empty spot to pick up and bank drops, and yak full of brews. This was my approximate set up, I think it worked out fine, sometimes few brews left over, but I never really perfected it since I rarely get dag tasks and am in the mood to go anymore. DFS would have been preferred, along with bandos chestplate (ranged defence to tank supreme and small prayer bonus). I just used ring of wealth, but it will hardly make a difference anyways. What I did at the entrance was sip a dose of overload, EE spec, 2 sips of brew, then wait for stats to go to max. I then went in and just cycled killing supreme and rex. I tried balmung, but the extra defense with whip+shield was superior from my experience, and the kill speeds were similar. I also used a timer so I knew to let my hp fall down a bit when 1-2 mintues were remaining for my overload. Since I got 75 kills in 80 minutes (approximately, 4 overloads worth of time), I was getting around 56 kills an hour. My first trip was only 60 kills, but that was with balmung, so I had to brew alot more. I think I used worlds with a population of 600ish, but that resulted in time waiting for rex to spawn, but I still managed good kill rates in my opinion. Although supply intensive, the hides+bones payed for all the supplies, so the drops were pure profit. I almost always got at least a warrior ring, usually a d axe, so it's over 1m/hr in terms of profit, and it's quite fun if you're in the mood to go. Just keep your LP above 500ish at all times, so that supreme can't combo you, until you get confident with letting it hover around 400. Under that is too risky in my opinion, and no point since you can brew every 15 seconds (if you use a timer, try to start brewing around 4 or 5 seconds before your stats are gonna restore, just so you don't miss the stat restore, can try later if you're confident). With better equipment, and curses (maybe, I had only 87 prayer before so I just flashed piety, but maybe allowing turmoil all the time for supreme will help), you could easily boost the kills/hour, especially with fuller worlds. A SGS may be better for specing than EE, but I prefered EE because I could use it as soon as I used another overload dose, to offset the LP damage by a bit. With SGS you'd have to be at the supreme stage, or find a nearby spino thingy to spec. I hope this gives you a bit more knowledge about rex/supreme soloing, and in my opinion its the most profitable at DKs, since no seers ring or mudstaff drop from normal hybriding, instead having a berserker ring and warrior ring, both worth more.
  19. It is definitely enough for a yak, I do 53 bones per inventory and it's never run out so far, unless I went afk for like a minute.
  20. I'm 98 94 though, but strength won't make too big of a difference I'm guessing? As long as I get like 2 kills/hour I'd be happy.
  21. With turmoil and overloads, would whip + a shield work out better than a godsword, using claws for a special attack? Or would godsword still be superior?
  22. Sorry for kinda taking your topic, but didn't feel like creating a new thread for nearly the same topic. Would it be possible for me to get kills at FFA corp with void, overloads, and turmoil? Or would 99 attack and strength really help?
  23. As Laura0077 said, stewing up from 92 is easy, as long as you have some patience. I only got 95 from making my own extremes/overloads, mostly from the bonus exp event (it was 93 beforehand). Just spend a few hours hunting brown spices, so you could boost up to 96/97 from 92 and make at least 12 overloads/boost (I usually got 15 unless I messed up). If you just need the overloads for some light use, not heavy boss hunting, 92 is enough. Otherwise, 93 or 94 may be more useful, as 92 may get frustrating if you need to make many overloads. For training, after 90 I just made my own extremes, and that is how I ended up leveling up, and the 1k exp per overload doens't hurt either, so just make your own personal supply and it should level up.
  24. You could also consider killing just supreme and rex, and leaving prime on you. What I do with dagonnoth tasks is just wear full melee armour with a full slayer helmet, a whip, a blessed spirit shield, and runes for rex (I tried out balmung, but felt that whip killed at similar speed with less damage taken due to a shield, since I have to tank supreme), and pray mage constantly whilst alternating between rex and supreme. I'm not sure how effective this would be for you, since I am able to use a pack yak and overloads. I take 4 overloads, so 80 minutes of killing. That usually lasts me around 75 kills total, and since I can bank the bones/hides, I profit always and the drops are just pure profit. I don't bother with prime because he's the slowest to kill, and his ring drop is almost worthless compared to the other rings. Although I think prime's normal drops are better (the talismans primarily), I can always be killing supreme and rex on a 500 population world with barely any waiting for spawns, and prime is a major slowdown from my experience. However, the lack of overloads may make my method obsolete, as the brews would lower your stats too much, so supreme would be more of a hassle. It's just an idea I'm throwing out there, I've found it to be pretty decent, perhaps you could find a way for it to work with a unicorn? I take an enhanced excalibur which I use whenever I overload, and 31 brews, which last me approximately 80 minutes. That'd be about 2 and a half minutes for every brew, which is around 60 hp every 2.5 minutes. I think unicorn is around that speed, or a little bit slower, and brews would cause your stats to lower too often, so I don't think my method would work out too well. You could play around with it though, I've done 5 trips so far, so still perfecting it, but I like it personally.

    Skill Capes

Yeah, happens to me pretty often if I'm skilling and decide to wear my untrimmed hp cape. I just get called soul wars noob, pest control noob, or any other insult, even by lvl 100s who only have fletching or cooking at 99. I just brush it off, because I know that my character is usually better than theirs overall. The funny thing is, higher levels or similar level players never comment on it, only the lower leveled ones. I'm gonna try to get up to 135 or 136 with untrimmed hp cape, just for the fun of it, and I like the look of it. But really, just ignore them, they just can't realize that different people play for different reasons. Not everybody wants to get multiple 99s as quickly as possible.
