furies have been stable since their release, I dont see them dropping anytime soon. This months jewelry update will probably raise the prices too, since they will make onyx bracelets useful, and possibly the onyx necklace as well.

everyone seems to really hate doing the emotes, I love them, I did my wc and fletch emotes 10 times over each the day they came out, and I still show them to whoever wants to see.

what a lot of f2pers (and obviously you) don't get, is that when you turn into a member, gold doesn't just start falling from the sky, you have to work for money as always, just you have more ways to do so. One of my friends is f2p, and I always listen to him say "if I could get members for just 3 days, I could just make a ton of gold and go back to pking in f2p." Well hes been playing for 2 years, and hes still a noob that cant make money and has crappy stats. For some reason he has the commonly wrong idea that when you turn into a member, somehow 500k magically appears in your inventory.

Well i am a f2p and id rather get some cooler updates than just holiday items and graphical updates and i believe most f2p agrees with me. Id rather not get those (especially the graphical ones) and get some real updates (like some new skills or some new items) obviously you want updates, the question is why should you get them? it's not like you pay, or contribute to the game except for a small amount of money due to the ads that you don't read. members pay for jagex's effort, and that is why we get the updates. all you have to do to get updates is pay a measly $5 ($8 in Canada), you can even do it through the mail if your parents won't let you use their credit cards. in case u havent noticed (if u ever log on a f2p world) THERE IS AN AD AT THE TOP. Jagex earn more mny from than the mny from p2p One million members times $5 US a month=$5 million US a month. If you think Jagex is getting paid more than 60 million US a year to run ads, you really should go back to grade school, if you aren't there right now. u r making me sick. So u think that f2p should be De-graded or something? it sure sounds like it. what??? i never said free should be degraded. you suggested that Jagex is receiving more than $60million a year for the ads on free servers, and now you're making things up. :shame: as far as I can see, you are the one making things up, he never said anything about 60 million.

I'm a member. Runescape isn't a very appealing game for the average player, a lot of people turn away the moment they notice the graphics aren't so great, so much less actually decide to try it out in the first place. This means that the whole game really relies on f2p to be good enough to draw in players, if f2p isn't appealing enough then everyone will simply turn away. F2p content is becoming more outdated by the week, all except one quest, have been made back in runescape classic, so obviously the quests are short, boring, and unrewarding, compared to the new amazing updates members get almost weekly. It's like one man sticking to his car he bought in the 70's. while the second guy buys a new car each year, whose car is better? Obviously if every new player only gets to see the content thats 4-6 years old, they will make the assumption that the entire game, even in members is like this. This is the assumption everybody always makes. The solution to this in my opinion, is to release at least 2 new, good quests, adn atleast one new town. Just two quests, like the ones members get 2-3 times a month, will greatly improve f2p, and will bring a large amount of new players in to p2p, after seeing what members really have. I also don't understand what we members have to loose, all f2p content is obviously available to members, how will now having 2 updates not be made exclusively for you, hurt you? the polls are members only because otherwise people will be making multiple accounts so they can make a lot of votes. Also, the polls are there so jagex can have an idea on what updates to release, and what changes to make, f2p almost never gets updates anyway.

geez, mr. negative. I'm not lazy. It's just a discussion. I don't think having runners would actually slow you down, especially because the passage to the altar is so short. Runners would be back fast, if it were to ever be instituted. that made no sense at all :XD:

How do you suppose that? I would say hope. If you're poor/dying/have nothing in life and suicide is a sin, religion is what keeps you going. Otherwise a lot of people would have nothing to live for. looking at a picture, it clearly isn't a reflection, but that does not in anyway suggest that it's some sort of an alien vehicle. Not controversial at all.

People never needed religion to survive in the first place, otherwise we would have been extinct 500 million years earlier. Religion hasn't actually anyone, except maybe help a few people stay mentally stable. The only thing religion has done for man kind is cause a few billion deaths from wars through the thousands of years, even today (middle east). I think as humans, we will move away from religion as we become less ignorant, and its clear that today, the number of un-religious people is growing faster than ever.

I don't think you need to be a genius to realize that runescape isn't about doing enjoyable skills, its about getting good stats and money, and thats why people like runescape, thats why its so fun! what in the world could you possibly be doing in RUNESCAPE if you want to do something thats more enjoyable rather than getting you more gold?? It's runescape for god's sake! you obviously don't belong here! The stupidity of this thread made me want to tear my head off and feed it to pigs!!

how about a lolly pop shooter that fires thousands of lolly pops in all directions skulling and dealing 10k damage per hit, also raises your def bonus by 20k. the lolly pops also go upwards, so everybody in runescape is hit. Also, after death, everybody respawns with their stats brought to zero, and you are boosted with the total amount of stats lost by everybody, so you would be lvl 10k in every stat.

Im thinking of a combination of the Red Axe story line, temple of Ikov, tears of Guthix, and death to Dorgenshun quests... if thats a dwarf I'm seeing in the picture. I guess the Dorgenshun and The Dwarwes will have to unite to fight off the Red Axe (united with Lucein) and HAM. I smell an epic quest coming up =P~

who's going to agree with someone who's trying to shut down Youtube? and what is Vietcom trying to achieve anyway? as long as theres file sharing, there will always be copyright infringement. If you somehow magically stop all file sharing, then you've just stopped the world :roll:

I remember the first time you meet the tentacles in half-life 1, no matter how many times I tried, I could never get past them without having to cheat. But then I tried again about two years later and got past them in a few tries :? Thats probably the best example of how a persons skills increase over time I have ever seen first hand.
