Well if the whip had a strength attack style and the special attack was still 0 or max hit then it would be really overpowered. Remember it's not just about melee weapons, melee has to equal ranged and melee too.

Yes, they are still very rare, i've only actually seen one 3rd age item in-game but they are not discontinued so won't stay 'rare' for long.

I know a pure who did it at 44 combat with about 43hp. That's the lowest i know and he needed a lot of help.

Ouch.. especially if you had only just got in, its quite a trek getting to the lair. Noobiest thing for me was when i was low and did the Barcrawl, i completed all them but had to go.. Came back and just started walking up to the agility course. Realised i forgot the barcrawl card so went back to bank pulled out a clue scroll thinking it was the card and went ALL the way up before realising it was the wrong thing. :oops: :oops:
