Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I never saw CoD as anything special until MW. WW2 is an overused genre as it is and the games just seem to 'mainstream'. Anyway, I did some more research and it is just "Modern Warfare 2". It's still part of the CoD series and is a sequel to CoD4 though.

Dangerous computer worm set to attack on April 1st
Afaik SP2 will be supported for as long as SP3. Extended support for XP stays the same for both service packs, presumably since SP3 was released after Vista. Still worth getting though (which I can't :wall:)

What interesting words do you use in everyday conversation?
I seem to have picked up "Let's roll" and "I'll roll with that" in the past week or so. No idea why :P

Interesting/Epic Chemical Reactions?
Elephant's toothpaste is a cool and fairly harmless reaction. Iirc, you just need a group 1 iodide and hydrogen peroxide, makes bucket loads of foam.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Wii version is neither here nor there. If people want to play it on the wii, why not? It won't look as good but the game will still be there. I just hope the campaign for this is as good as the last (As in CoD4), and hopefully a bit longer :) Also, wasn't CoD was dropped from the title or something?

Computer assembly help!
Graphics card links? I'm somehow doubtful you intend to use a second mobo as a graphics card. ;) Other than that it looks fine, I'm not an expert at this though. You may want to get a more powerful PSU, depending what graphics card you want. A lot of the newer higher spec cards need a lot of power to work properly., so it might be a good idea to get a different case and say, a 500-600W one just to be sure.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Mirror's Edge. May only be playing on medium graphics without PhysX, but it's an absolutely stunning game :o I need to improve a lot on the jumps and stuff though.

Iphone or Nintendo D.S.I?
Neither. Anything apple branded is overpriced and not worth getting, and you're better off sticking to a ds lite or a psp if you want a handheld console.

Interesting/Epic Chemical Reactions?
Not worth it. There aren't enough molecules of francium to warrant a decent explosion. You'd get much better results from Caesium + Strong Acid.

Runescape is getting progressively slower.
Connection speed is fine, fluctuations like that are completely normal :). What about your CPU and graphics card? You can find these by going to run and typing "Dxdiag". RAM is a bit on the low side in today's standards, but I used to play HD and run other things with 1GB and other things (Norton AV for example) I never had any problems. It might be worth checking your CPU usage when playing. Rs is very CPU heavy, and high quality youtube videos are too. I'd reccomend updating your browser and java as suggested, if you haven't already done so.

Dangerous computer worm set to attack on April 1st
I didn't say it's definitely going to happen in the next 4 days, I just said it could. Sure they may have been working since January, but there's still hope. Also, things like this also have the habit of being overhyped scareware. It's not the first time it's happened, and doubtless it'll happen again. Sure, taking precautions is absolutely essential, but it wouldn't surprise me if the whole thing was just a hoax that creates a file called lol.txt on your desktop or something similar.

Dangerous computer worm set to attack on April 1st
As I said before, there's worse out there. I'd advise to upgrade to a good AV (Avira - free, NOD32 - pay), keep your OS up to date, back up your stuff to an external hard drive, and not to visit anything suspicious. Hopefully someone will find a fix for it the meantime.

Conficker Worm
Meh. I'd be more worried about a BIOS virus like Dsavi suggested. In the worst cases something like that would mean you'd have to get a new PC altogether. Still, doubtless having a good antivirus (not Norton or McAffee), a secure browser, and common sense should keep you safe

Cryengine 3 Shown on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Heard about this about a week ago, sounds like it's gonna be an absolute [bleep] to run on PC though.

Phone to Computer Issue
I had a problem similar to this, I contacted Motorola support and they weren't much help. I eventually just bought a USB Bluetooth hub and it worked fine. It only cost me about £7 from Argos :). Just make sure that if you buy it supports your OS, especially if you're using Windows 98/2000.

Runescape is getting progressively slower.
Could be you just don't have enough bandwidth to play RuneScape and stream video at the same time. How fast is your connection? You can check at http://www.speedtest.net. From experience, 512K is about the minimum required to run RS HD.

Scariest Dreams
My house burning down. It's timberframed. Dreaming about RuneScape or TIF is far from 'effed up'. Perfectly normal for everyday experiences to crop up in dreams.

what operating system do you use!!
XP Pro SP2 .Can't upgrade to SP3 for some unknown reason, see viewtopic.php?f=45&t=773381&p=6281841&hilit=SP3#p6281841. I said I fixed it, but I realised 2 days after I was still on SP2 >_>. Might try Ubuntu when I get a faster net connection.

mIRC Safe?
The program itself is safe an contains no malware at all, providing of course you get your copy off the official website. However, as far as I'm aware there exist some vulnerabilities in mIRC which other people can exploit by making you visit certain links or download certain files. Of course, if it still bothers you, you can always try a different client instead. I use xchat myself, you can find a free build for windows at silverex.org (Before you ask, yes it's safe). Another good one is Chatzilla, which is a Firefox addon.

Free Application Guide
There has: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=773164 Also, I think you'll find some people will disagree with a lot of what you've said. I find oo.o a lot easier to use than word for example, and all the features I need are there anyway. The only real place where MS office is better is probably an actual office, where you need the features, and where it's considered standard. A lot of businesses offer 'training' for ms office, which is why some find oo.o confusing.

So my friend got one red light(E-74) on his 360...
the cause of the RRoD is because there's something inside the 360 that doesn't connect properly. the towel trick melts the inside (kinda) and forces the circuits to connect properly. that's as far as i understand. i think that if (and only if) you know what you're doing, you really should force an RRoD. it's disgusting that MS refuses to fix something that they know exists for free. Bollocks does it. The towel would catch on fire and the chips inside the xbox would break before it reaches the temperature at which solder melts. I'd say A or B, probably B.

Antivirus won't update
You haven't got any firewall software/router settings that could be blocking them from connectig to the internet have you?
