Has there been any official word from Jagex on this? The only interaction I've seen is with forum mods. Could just be that some mod was pissed because he sucks at castle wars?

well you should be more patient, and kill them much more :P I soloed 400 commander zilyanas for 1 saradomin sword :< the drops aren't exactly common :P hilt is 1/250 and secondary drops are 1/100, so you shouldn't be expecting too much for 50 kills. SO BASICALLY KILL MOAR.

Dry unfortunately Idk how many of these I've had lol but now I've had 1 more The only reward for killing 198 dark beasts, which as you see took 2 full pack yaks and more. I'm trying to get as many bones for the new wishlist by slaying as possible but lapalok just won't give me black dragons or fire giants or aquanites or any of the others :P I'll keep trying though. I would be slaying right now but I lent my whip to some random guy at dark beasts whose loan ran out lol. I may kill some vyrewatches to entertain myself.

Well considering that there were people spawn camping every single aquanite and they aren't very good this is not a huge surprise.

well considering with a unicorn and dfs and sgs you can stay at dks forever, gwd forever provided you have at least 4 people, do any slayer task except scabarites sometimes without further healing, and stay at tormented demons until you run out of prayer (which the spirit shields wouldn't help with anyways, especially divine lol), I'd say that they are not that useful at all except as a status symbol and at corp, where you need all the help you can get to survive lol

irons/steels due to very slow xp (steels are also hard to even get kills at), greater demons/hellhounds due to crowds (I should look into killing greaters in the volcano probably but w/e) tbirds are really good xp if you cannon them but you have to chime fast so I usually play arcanists for a few days when I get them lol. I don't mind wyverns because of the charms, and black demons/dark beasts are just ownage. kalphites are good, people make too much of a fuss about getting a world really, but now I'm just raving.

a ridiculous high lvl slayer req would be hawt. I'd prefer that its drop be tradeable actually since i hate mining but like money anyways that won't be happening for awhile still, the author of this series of diaries said this storyline will end with a gm quest... we can probably rely on no big rewards until then btw forgiveness of a chaos dwarf absolutely sucks as a title

Yep it is lost and gone forever. Until I buy another. Thanks for posting btw :) Naturally, the loss of it made me lose interest in PvP, which at the time happened to be the only thing in RS that had my interest. So I stopped playing for awhile, then went on vacation, then came back but just didn't feel like posting on this blog. But I've been back a few weeks now so I may as well. My skilling goals remain the same, and I also plan to do some slayer and earn some money monster-hunting, as well as by getting 90 rc. Here's what I've been up to so far. Best summoning rank was before I left, it's a bit worse now lol. Got 90 as well actually, but didn't pic it apparently. This was fun. As you can see, the quest for all my not 99 skills ending with 0 is progressing. Runecrafting is the only one left, actually. Not wanting to face it immediately after agility, I've been doing some slayer. I'll do rcing then maybe get a few 99s later. Oh and random monster-hunting ftw.

thanks guys so I bought ags and lost it 3 days later, having gotten about 3 kills in 8 with it, cool luckily I don't really care

the problem with mage is that its pros are so powerful they scare away potential targets (and are considered to be "dishonorable"). sure you can ice your enemy and keep him from ever reaching you, but who's going to stick around for a fight like that? the same goes for the miasmic spells. although it is possible to combo high hits with magic, it still takes 2 turns to do your 62 damage, while a meleer can do 80+ with claws in one (and still be able to deliver another devastating blow next turn, while a mage cannot).
