So I got back to slayer my one true love today. and made some progress on 80 farming and got some nice lulz, this guy is pretty subtle

I'll miss BTS but hopefully we'll get some nice surprises. As long as jagex doesn't use their new freedom from players knowing what updates are coming to cut back to 1-2 updates a month. And yeah, they'll need to step up their DD production as well.

ya ty After months of slayer I've finally maxed every combat stat (except slayer :x). I used controlled the entire time to avoid the inferior saradomin sword, and that's how I maxed. Kind of. As usual at an attempted 99 party by me I messed up a little. Nothing srs though. :P Don't tell anyone ;o [hide=tha party] o thats it[/hide] approximately 54156 to 99 attack 72195 to 99 strength 36792 to 99 defence next up, 99 slayer also I'd like to congratulate Edtheripper, whom I maxed my melees on, and who coincidentally maxed melees on me at the same time :P

it's soo cool to look at all those maps and think of way back when that's what this game was hopefully we'll also get some new land soon, although "upgrade year" doesn't sound terribly promising I agree with you largely, and support the idea that jagex probably just drew the charter map to fit what they'd revealed to us so far I agree with most of your projections, although I imagine the area east of meiyerditch to be more of a hellish vampire dominated deathscape (it is labelled the sanguinesti region, which is supposedly the worst part of morytania, assuming that it extends beyond meiyerditch. there is also the gate in eastern meiyerditch, suggesting that they are linked and the vampires have some power there) than an uncorrupted forest

I'M NOT DEAD YET. for everyone reading this it was blingkachi50 the incredible who brought our supplies to sara, L and thanks everyone else, was on a school trip to raleigh last thurs-sun, runecrafted the next few days, and slayed a little bit from then until now. with the result that killer3650 is now better than me at slayer, [cabbage] lol. so i'm going to try and pick up the pace a little. different tasks also saw a strange sight one time after killing jade vine :P edit: also did a price check for the luls mc wins for having 30m once I reach 1 kyatt's worth of crimson charms i'll probably make some more titans and scrolls, go through'em pretty quick :P

The bigger question is why you don't feel that we should be. Tradable rares do nothing to prove or indicate how long you're playing, nor are they unique - anyone can buy them (with a whole wad of cash). No one can buy my Scythe, no matter how much they want it. Do they have the right to obtain something that they weren't around to get? No, they don't. Just like you don't deserve $100 from someone handing out cash to everyone on the street because you were busy at work, and couldn't get to him in enough time. Sure, being recognized as an RSC player is rather moot nowadays, as even I've lost most consideration into it. That, however, doesn't mean that I'm just going to say "ok" to everyone getting a Scythe or Bunny Ears. It's just an item. There's nothing special about IT, everyone should have a chance to get it. If you were asked to delete one weapon from the game forever, and you had a choice between the scythe and whip, which would you pick? What is special about IT is that IT shows you have played RS since its infancy. I own neither a scythe nor bunny ears, but I accept that the whole point of them is to show that you were around when they were dropped. I have no desire to own a pair, since I was not. If they were made available to everyone, they would become about as popular as the ying-yang amulets the makeover mage sells. Would that really be better than the way things are now?

the fact of the matter is that rares have more in common with a rare painting than a christmas present and they should be treated as such

well he tends to be a bit of a drama queen since I don't want that to be my whole post, I've played this minigame and found it to be mediocre. it's a fun chance to spend 20 minutes beating the crap out of other players, and I'm glad you don't get totally cut out if your team loses, but it doesn't really have any depth beyond straight up fighting

or you could not use lootshare lol. just fighting with 2 people would greatly reduce the amount of pilage you get, then after 15 mins one of you can hop I do my waterfiend tasks there, it's notably faster but does take 2 trips record time they've taken to kill a steel titan is 15 minutes lol.

I read part of your post but not all of it. I don't think letting everyone get an item they want is worth the amount of inflation, loss of uniqueness, and economic damage that would result from this.

You seem to put a lot of value on conserving pray here, but are you sure that longer trips are worth the slower kills the halberd gives? Banking only takes 2 minutes, and the whip is very good, especially because it hits under 30 frequently and lets you do 50+ damage before the demon switches prayer sometimes. also, you can save a lot of money and still stay for a pony or 2 using summoning potions instead of brews to heal
