that is quite the chain of smileys there, gremmy. so i herd claws were going up and i sold my personal pair for 31m, resulting in first over 100m cash pile EVAR then i went back to tds cos i like having claws Aside from some boring skilling I don't have much to do in RS besides TDs lol. One day I'll pk... might buy an AGS, since claws are problematic cos you have to protect them which means you can't protect your primary weapon which means you have to range which is weak and lowers your defenses unless you use a crossbow which I've been thinking about but am not sure. I'll figure it out. oh also got 17m ranged at tds

Music in RS
I listen to it from time to time; some of the songs aren't half bad. I just prefer my music more lol. The runescape music player is pretty lame, whenever you move the song resets even though they were supposed to have fixed that. :|

Slayer Sucks
You... Get... Free... Total.. Levels... I can't really argue there, I guess. Well, look at it this way Comp. Spend 10 hours on Slayer at 50k exp an hour for a Melee skill (totals at 500k exp) and about 15k Slayer exp (totals at 150k exp). Spend 10 hours at Armoured Zombie at 100k exp an hour (totals at 1mil exp). At higher levels 500k exp isnt even going to get you a level and even 150k exp might not get you a Slayer level. 1mil Melee exp on the other hand will get you atleast 1 level for certain (unless you are on 98 in which case it will put you 120k away from 99). Anyway, so for 10 hours of Slayer you have nothing to show but a measly 620k in total exp and maybe 500k cash were as with the Armoured Zombies you will have atleast 1 level and 1.5mil cash to show. 1.5mil Cash can now be used for some of your lower buyable skills. This could get you upto 5 more levels. Even if you spend the 500k gained from slayer on a buyable skill you still wont reach anywere near the total levels gained while doing Armoured Zombies. its 11 total levels with armoured zombies again 5 at most with slayer. Therefore i must conclude that slayer is not only a waste of time, but it is a waste of money. I hope i made my point clear enough. That's a good argument. Wait, your slayer xp rate is entirely incorrect, no it isn't.

Ourg Bones? Are you KIDDING?
Clever response. Yes, I agree with you, this is a very unbalanced update. However, you can take solace in the fact that it will go down from 15k per drop to something much lower...maybe around 5k after a few weeks, I'm guessing. Wrong. Dagannoth bones are worth 8k, and there are 3 npcs that drop them (one of which can be soloed for hours on end, banking every single bone drop). They also give vastly less exp. Ourg bones may drop but they won't crash. Unless you go to team bandos with a pack yak and get every single ourg drop this update will have no effect on anything.

Ourg Bones? Are you KIDDING?
they don't add that much considering that they aren't stackable. he already drops tons of rune stuff, not to mention tassets and hilts worth millions and millions... it's a small proportional change. He was the 3rd best boss to kill and remains so, no real difference. It'll bring an item that is pretty much never used maybe a little more into the spotlight.

Fletching, firemaking and cooking - Skillcapes of dirt?
It's a game, people can do whatever will make them happy, as that is largely the purpose of playing a game. No cape is "nooby" even cooking, widely accepted as the easiest, takes over 50 hours with sharks. I wouldn't call anyone willing to spend 50 hours clicking on sharks and fires a noob just because they did it.

thanks baby all from farmed snaps. lost like 8m of potential profit when they crashed lol but oh well. That pair pays for the pair I bought awhile ago; now I'd just like to solo another for some more money :P will also get my first 8 digit cash pile. Had a nice fail, while I was gloating to Musky I died for the first time haha. Kept the claws but all my void was lying on the ground for about 4 minutes and 45 seconds :ohnoes: didn't get back as fast as I could have but still only lost potions thank god haha all from snaps plz, all stats 80+ now

grandmaster quest has me interested, wasn't there a connection between the evil dwarves and another storyline?

Tormented Demons..
Tormented demons are demons. Not dragonkin. The fact that they are in part made of dragon armor is just because they are badass.

History and possible future of the Elves (theory)
I don't think that one clan could have reasonably forced out all the others (even if one was away at the time). 1 vs 6 is still pretty long odds. Of course, they did manage to take power... I don't think they kicked the other clans out though - Llyeta is a good deal smaller than Priffindas lol. Perhaps it was founded by the elves most strongly motivated to fight back instead of submit. The seal theory and everything else seems logical. Shame jagex said the conclusion of this storyline is something that they will 'get around to when they have the resources necessary to make it as good as it deserves to be' aka not for a long time. :

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Don't forget Ghost Rider. I think you're forgetting that during the quest, Jhallan basically said that the Mahjarrats must fight eachother to survive. Looking at it from this way, they might not be entirely opposed to enemy forces killing their fellows for them. It sounds a bit like Highlander... Also, during the quest, Jhallan implies that Mahjarrat aren't skeletal at full power. As for Hazelmere and his prophecies, I'm quite unliking that they're not really giving us a choice about which side we support. For such big, ground-breaking quests, we shouldn't be so limited.... Maybe somewhere in all this the Shadow Sword will be upgraded to a respectable weapon... Or maybe the Blood, or Ice Sword. If we have to one day fight the Dragonkin, or even a fully-powered Mahjarrat, I hope it's a huge team quest. [hide=Looky!][/hide] They need to kill each other to survive, but only at the time of the ritual - if one dies between rituals it only hurts them because it means there is one less mahjarrat to potentially be sacrificed. I assume those pictures are jhallan, zemouregal, and lucien but what order are they? or is one khazard/akthanakos o.o

The Mystics - Can The Head Mystic Be The Mahjarrat Sliske?!
the head mystic seems more like a puppet than anything else. it could be that he's being manipulated by a mahjarrat, but I don't think it goes beyond that. keep in mind that once a minigame is added, it's never removed (unless it's bounty hunter lol). whoever is responsible for the founding of stealing creation will probably never be revealed, as that would conclude the game. Your main argument also seems to be that lots of Zarosian things are purple, and the portal to the realm is purple. That is pretty weak imo. The obelisks were there well before the minigame as I'm sure you know. it's much more likely in my opinion that (although they may very well be powered by the magic of Zaros) jagex simply put SC near one for convenience sake.

Mysteries of the Mahjarrat [WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]
They're a species? Hmm... I was always under the impression that they were a cult of some sort. I mean, Hazelmere after Eye of Glouphrie mentioned "the Mahjarret deceiver" who is Lucien. How does one deceive a species? And if anyone paid attention during WGS, the 8 warriors who assembled to fight Lucien teleported into lv 40 wild, and after the battle the two survivors teleported out. We all know that no one can teleport past 30 wild (unless you use Jennica's ring to enter a spirit world portal and then teleport from there), so how did these guys do it? It seems like something terrible happened in the Wilderness in the old days and someone prevented newcomers from being able to teleport in. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you try to teleport past 20 wild you receive a message "ancient magic prevents you from teleporting past lv 20 wilderness", and when you use the wildy obelisks you get a chatbox message saying "ancient magic teleports you around the wilderness" or something like that. Plus the only deep wildy teleports from outside the wild are ancient magics. I'm probably saying what is already obvious, but I don't think we've seen the last of Zaros. And I'm thinking there will be another quest involving Summer's family too, because the ring you get is tied with revenants and if I remember correctly the Mahjarret had something to do with revenants too. And if we toss in the barrows brothers in this future quest? Holy crap, thats one spectacular adventure. there are tons of ways to teleport *into* the deep wilderness; it's just a bit harder to get out. I think it's more the evil nature of the wilderness than something done for protection I don't think the mahjarrat have anything to do with revenants either

Riff's Road to Taskmaster

u no it. I was a bit bored so I decided to do the fight caves again, pretty nerve-wracking actually lol; the possibility of wasting 1.5 hours of your life is much scarier than that of death at gwd. :P O also died at solo bandos a couple days ago and lost like 2m, o well. rounded up some money for a pair of dragon claws borrowed lol, but it still looks hawt

Slayer Sucks
I hate to come into any conversation uninformed, but browsing through it seems that ydraisil has indeed stated many of the same things I did, and your response was typically to say that he was wrong. He would ask for explanations, and you would decline. How surprising. I see no benefit in reading 63 pages of that, nor in continuing to give life to a thread by an author whose stance is that he is right and you are wrong, if you disagree go away. The only researched part of this thread that I can see is the first post, the majority of which is wrong. Having stated thus in my first response, you politely told me that my elaborated upon post was wrong, and told me to go away (at the same time telling me that I had wasted time doing something that I explained had taken no time to do, good job reading) with absolutely no counter-argument of your own, which seems to be the pattern of this thread. Obviously there is no convincing you that slayer is superior, even though you can't seem to get together the rather simple facts that would be necessary to prove my post wrong. Have a nice day.

Slayer Sucks
I don't know how your number system works, but to my eyes this thread definitely has 65 pages, not 800 or over 2000. However, that is still more than I think it is reasonable to expect anyone who wishes to argue with you to trawl. Your first post says to read the whole post. Not the entire damn thread, which obviously no one without an ungodly amount of time will do. If you care to disprove my points, do so. If you can't, which seems to be the case so far, don't. But don't give me BS that because at some point in this jungle of posts you have spoken about the topics I am discussing that you are absolved from ever defending them again, especially when you are wrong in regard to them. If you really are too rude to lower yourself to the level of responding to what I think is a reasonably well structured argument against your own, fine, but don't make it look like it's my fault for not spending, in your own words, a few weeks reading a topic that from what I have seen so far has absolutely no postive qualities to redeem the many thoroughly poorly reasoned statements on your part.
