thanks :P I've done more sara gwd than anything else, then probably dks then arma and tds. I like tds and tribrid dks because they're the most engaging. tds also are pretty amazing money lol. sara and arma are too robotic now, get 3 other people, attack boss, click healing aura lol and lucky king! this summer I hadn't thought to check their touring schedule and it turns out they were like 50 miles away performing and I missed it fml, one day though! and I'll accomplish my goals eventually :< went and extreme potted + super antifired some iron dragons with a zamorakian spear, killed one in 20 seconds lol. I'll have to change my block list. once I get 92 herb I'm definitely getting another fire cape haha

was browsing this, if you're interested in soloing arma the best way to avoid melees would be to run under him while you eat since you don't have brews. I actually prefer that to the sip very quickly method as I usually am too slow haha

spec restores, faster than premixed brews tbh and only 15 gp/xp! a real bargain now -.-

I'll compromise :P no plans on getting the overload though, I don't see any uses for it really the plain extreme sets are perfectly good and much easier lol after giving away a lot of money and grenwall spikes I've got 92 herblore banked, and a skill to gain 9 more levels in... it'll be totally worth it though :P after 92 I'm definitely planning to [bleep] up some slayer monsters before I return to rc/fletch. and monster hunt.

Those were some of the first interesting updates this year for me. And within the light was not high level. I did MEP2 like 3 years ago with under 110 combat and I had the stats to do within the light then it's not like this update has made RS any worse for people without the stats to do the elite diary (I am nowhere near 91 smithing myself). it's a reward to the people who have had the devotion to spend hours upon hours of their lives grinding skills. the average scaper will be able to do the first 3 parts of the diary. hell, the average scaper will do a few easy tasks and then quit. there's plenty of other content in this game to do, so please don't complain about the truly incomprehensibly rare occasions on which something is released that takes high stats to do.

I think the 3rd age, spirit shields, and phats are cool.

I decided that herblore isn't going to get any cheaper so I launched myself into it 39m price check lol I have level 84 banked, then I'll probably buy 85 and go back to runecrafting :thumbup:

Well you can't change the past, and it did make for a more interesting update than a fishing rebalance. Ideally Jagex would have asked the Jmod who originally developed the series and continued it without such a ridiculous gap, but that just isn't the way things happened. The fact they have finally disturbed the dust suggests that at least they have remembered that the series exists, and will be working on it. Not much more to ask for.

the death ruins are in the temple of light because the temple of light was built around the death ruins (or the original temple), I assume deep under the mountains with the dark beasts seems death-related enough to me

I'm trying to minimize the amount of capital I am keeping in liquid form due to the current severe inflation. in terms of stuff that would be gp I have like 150k p ess (slooowww countdown to 90 rc) and 150k adamant bolts (fletched + unfletched). the rest of my money is spent on things =p no levels but I did the new quest. was fun, hope we get more in the near future.

An interesting quest. I wonder if there's any significance to the fact that when you mention the gnome, Arianwyn asks if he can be trusted, and when you talk about how you tried to save him, Arianwyn says he hopes you didn't waste too much time. He also seemed pretty eager for the character to do all of the dangerous stuff. Could just be me, but meh. Also, I don't understand why exactly the elven mages ungrew their whole city.

PURE ESSENCE Frankly I do not give a damn about runes but PURE ESSENCE is definitely where it's at.

Until I saw the german hint I was sure it wouldn't be MEP3, but I can't think of anything else in RS related to light... :-k

Yeah, I'd prefer seeing something more like an aura instead of the stupid overhead prayer icon. if jagex removes the icons because of you I will burn your house down :(

Third Help & Advice topic today haha. It's been well-known for awhile that metal dragons are weak to stabbing weapons. This is one of the reasons that the new super antifire potions are amazing; they let you use the zamorakian spear to crush (well, stab) mithril dragons and the like. I was wondering if this weakness to stab attacks extends to chromatic (non-metallic) dragons. A friend killing black dragons on slayer task with a z spear said he was destroying them, but he was also using an extreme set, black mask, and piety lol. Does anyone know for certain?
